Emma's POV
It all began with a text from a long distance number. And the two only reasons why I know that it's from Annabelle Fairfax is because it reads, 'Why does 'Stinkerbelle' need be punished? She proves to be a great character.' Who else would say that Annabelle is a good person but her herself? And besides, I checked with Sophie, who recognised  number in an instant, since the two of them text and call each other quite often.
I'm only worried that she has something planned for me.

The day after I get the mysterious text from Annabelle, I get another one from her, with a picture attached to the message. From the looks of it, she's in an airport, but not just any old airport. I know that airport like the back of my hand, since I go there often to get inspiration for new stories. She adds a text to it that says, just arrived in Concord! Can't wait to see everyone again, especially you, sweet Gemma!
It sends a chill up my spine when I see this message and I forcefully chuck my cell phone into a glass of water. And then I immediately regret it.. At least now she won't be able to text me... or creep me out.
I call the rest of the book club, including Sophie, from the landline and we discuss to meet at Cassidy's house in fifteen minutes for an emergency chat.
On the way there, I can't help but imagine Stinkerbelle herself in a limo or something riding up the streets of Concord, trying to track me down for revenge. I shiver. I really need to get that feeling out of my mind.
When I arrive at the Sloanes house, the rest of the book club is already there, and Mrs Sloane-Kinkaid tells me that the rest of the group is up in the turret, and I should meet them there.
"Em, are you alright?" Jess asks as I walk into the room. "You didn't respond to my texts."
"Mine either." I hear Cassidy, Becca and Megan say from behind her.
I forgot to tell them about the phone in the water thing. I quickly fill them in on the situation.
"Oh gosh." Cassidy says when I finish retelling the story. "I say we should fight back, but surely no one is going to agree with me, you little wimps."
Megan furrows her eyebrows. "Um, actually Cass, I kind of agree with you! This Stinkerbelle has done enough meddling with us, and we just have to get rid of her once and for all! No offence, Sophie." She adds, remembering that Sophie and Annabelle are cousins.
Sophie waves off this statement. "None taken. I have to admit that Annabelle could get a little bossy sometimes."
"Oh it's more than sometimes," Becca says. "So what are we going to do?"
"I have some ideas..." Cassidy says. "But they're going to probably involve us getting into trouble.."
I chime in. "You know what? I don't mind if this gets us into trouble, I just want her to stop getting her way!"
A voice from behind us pipes in. "Now why would you want that?"
We turn around to face the door, shocked that someone was listening in on the conversation.

On a different note, I'm glad to be back on Wattpad more frequently, since I've been neglecting it almost the whole summer. But now since school is going to start soon, I'll be back into the swing of things! Tons of mdbc ideas, so much to write!
