Jess's POV

"Well that went well..." Becca tells us when the mdbc daughters lock ourselves in Emma's bedroom.
"You're telling me..." I mutter under my breath, curling myself into a ball on Emma's bed.
I have something to tell them, but I save it for when the right moment comes.
Megan complains. "Did we just wander through nowhere land for nothing?!"
"Well it wasn't for nothing..." Emma struggles to find any positive points about the trip. "Fine the whole thing was a stupid waste of time..."

The time has arisen. "Guys, you don't have to be all melodramatic....! Did I mention to you guys how great actors we can all be?"
They blink at me. Cassidy asks, "what do you mean?"

"I mean, that this was all a planned prank." I explain, trying to act like its totally normal to fake romance drama in front of your friends. "But when Marion called me last night, she said that she was actually dehydrated that day, and so she didn't actually end up having to fake anything. It just so happens that she almost passed out right in front of Becca's house."
The expressions on their faces make me wonder whether they're mad or just confused.
Then Emma says, "I didn't know Darcy was such a good actor!"
We all laugh at that statement. I heave a sigh of relief when I see that they aren't mad at our stunt.

But then Becca's face turns to stone in a matter of seconds after the laughing fest. "What if he wasn't acting? Like what if the two of them actually might have a thing happening in between them?"
I shrug. I doubt that would happen. "I dunno. Probably wont happen. And if it does, it'll be fine... 'Cause we got Cassidy on our side!"
We all grin in response at the thought.

A/N: hey guys! I'm sorry about not being so punctual... Hopefully things will start moving along quicker now that I just got a major project out of the way... But I do have a geo presentation on Wednesday so...
