"Quackity, please escort Tommy to the white house," Schlatt said, Tommy couldn't believe it, he didn't react at all to what he had just told them, "I'm sure he's just trying to scare us."

"But," Tubbo started, a little worried as Tommy went with Quackity without arguing, "What if he's telling the truth."

One tries to fly away
And the other watches him close from that wire

"Tubbo," Schlatt said putting a hand on his shoulder, "I want you to tell no one of this, we don't want to be spreading false rumors."

"Yes-yes sir," Tubbo stammered, but something told him Tommy wasn't lying, he wouldn't.

He says he wants to as well
But he is a liar

Days later while setting up for the festival Wilbur radioed Tubbo.

"Hey Tubbo," Wilbur said, "How are you? How's the festival set up going."

"Hey Wilbur," Karl said, taking the radio from Tubbo, "it's going great, I wish you and Tommy could be here."

"Well I'm sure you guys will have an explosive time," Wilbur chuckled, Tubbo froze remembering the events of days earlier.

I'll believe it all

"Karl, I'm sure you have other things to do," Tubbo took the radio back, trying to get Karl to go away. He shrugged and walked off the do some other things, "Wilbur what do you mean by explosive? Karl left."

"I'm going to blow Manburg. To. The. Ground," Wilbur laughed,"Tommy doesn't agree, but you see why. Dream rigged our nation with tnt and we were pretty weak."

"You know that does kinda make sense," Tubbo said,"Maybe I could talk to Tommy."

"Yeah, about that," Wilbur's excitement faded, "have you seen Tommy lately?"

There's nothing I won't understand

He hadn't, the last time he had was when Quackity took him to the white house, "Uh no, sorry."

"It's fine, I'm sure he'll show up eventually," Wilbur chuckled.

"So about the festival," Tubbo started nervously looking back to make sure Karl wasn't listening, "How will I know when to get out of there?"

"I'm setting it off during your speech," Tubbo's heart sank, Wilbur truly didn't care who got in his way, "but maybe we could have a code word to get you out of the way."

"Yeah, yeah," Tubbo said absentmindedly,"I'll be sure to tell you once I write it."

The sky is overcast and I'm sorry

"And once you do," Wilbur laughed again,"I suggest you get the hell out of there."

"Thanks for the heads up, Will," Tubbo said, then turned off his radio, "Karl!"

One more or one less
Nobody's worried

"What's up," He called back as Tubbo ran in his direction, "What did Wilbur want?"

"Nothing you need to worry about," Tubbo lied,"but I need you to tell Niki to find Tommy. Apparently he's been missing."

I'll believe it all

"Yeah, I can do that," Karl said,"but why can't you."

"Because I don't want to be caught," Tubbo said,"and tell Eret if you need to."

There's nothing I won't understand

"Will do," Karl nodded, and started towards Eret's castle, where Niki had been lately. Tubbo looked at all the work he had done and decided to head back home.

But just nearby Tommy was trying to get out of the white house. He finally got the window to shatter, but he fell as it caved in. He let out a scream as he fell on his leg the wrong way. Tommy found a large stick on the ground and used it to support his weight, he had to get out of L'Manburg before Schlatt saw him, again.

The first place Tommy thought of was Prime Church, it was only a joke created by him and Dream, but it was still neutral territory. He tried not to let the tears fall when he thought back to a simpler time when he and Dream had repaired their friendship, and Wilbur hadn't gone crazy, and-

"Tommy," Nihachu called when she saw the blond limping his way to the white building, "Are you alright?"

Tommy didn't say anything as he hugged Niki, he sobbed into her embrace, tired from trying to be strong for so long. She took him back to Eret's castle where they put his leg into a splint, and he was able to rest for a few day.

"Niki," Tommy started as she left for the festival, "Just, uh, be careful."

His eyes widened as he heard explosions come from L'Manburg not even a hour later.

Wilbur had done it.

But one's never going to let go of that wire

"Wilbur," Tommy had came running from Eret's castle, "Whe-Where's Tubbo?" He looked at the destruction of Manburg, his home.

He says that he will
But he's just a liar

"Do you want to tell him Wilbur," Technoblade asked,"or should I?"

But without any warning Tommy turned to Schlatt and started yelling at him, "You said you were moving the festival! You said no one would get hurt!"

"I thought that once Wilbur say how much, fun, we were having we wouldn't set it off," Schlatt lied,"but it didn't do anything and I'm afraid Tubbo got caught in the crossfire."

One tries to fly away and the other

"No," Tommy whispered, "No! It can't be it! Wilbur tell me you didn't-"

"Tubbo said the line," Wilbur responded,"and I didn't realize he couldn't get out of there until it was too late."

Watches him close from that wire

"How could you," Tommy didn't wait for a response though, he took off running, fearing what Wilbur had become.

"Tommy wait," Wilbur called.

"Stay the hell away from me," Tommy yelled as he mounted the horse Techno had brought and raced off.

He says he wants to as well, but he is a liar

Schlatt started laughing, slow, taunting laughter, "You didn't even get the chance to tell him. Manburg may be gone, but I won, face it Wilbur Soot, you've lost and always will."

"Do it," Wilbur says, darkly, to Techno as he turns away from them.

Schlatt keeps taunting them but it's suddenly cut off.

One tries to fly away and the other

Techno cleans his sword as Schlatt's decapitated body falls to the ground.
