Tyler|Short story
The lights dimmed in the large theatre room as Jordan signalled Seto with the curtain opening. Intermission was over and everyone was anxious for the next act, including the actor himself.
Tyler had contemplated this repeatedly, but there wasn't gonna be any backing out now. With the luck of both his friends and music teacher he walked out with papers filed in his hands.
The crowd watched, eager to be amused by the stunning, jokes and comedy they assumed would come from the brunette, glasses wearing boy on stage. Disbelief overthrew them though as Tyler sat on the smooth marble bench of the piano at the back of the stage, placed his hands on the keys, and began to play.
It wasn't upbeat and peppy like Tyler's usual personality, but rather....
Somber.
Dreary, the feeling you get from watched fog must over the wet, rain watered windows of your house during a storm.
Like a metaphor, melody of the classics.
His hands easily glided over the notes like wind, pouring his soul into this performance. Not like his comedy, so much richer then that.
He finished, standing, and walking off stage in silence.
No one knew what to say, they hadn't known what they witnessed.
Then clapping started, all heads turned to a boy in the balcony in a blue jacket and galexy patterned leggings.
Jason.
The applause, cheering, and joy with every standing soul.
Tyler smiled, he loved this noise so much more than ever before. This was special, and he would cherish it forever.
