pixandria headcanons my beloved (aka coming up with ideas for minecraft desert towns is surprisingly fun)
-palm leaves: this is completely impractical in real life but it's my fic i do what i want. so basically furniture and clothing can be made from palm leaves. a frame is made from palm wood and then the palm leaves are placed over the frame and sewn on. also palm leaf clothing, which is made the same way.-although, not all clothing and furniture is palm leaves: a good amount of it is Rivendellian wool and Gilded Helanthian leather (Pearl's empire). there is also copper furniture ofc, and sandstone furniture carved directly out of the blocks used to build houses. (cusions are placed on copper/sandstone furniture)-Pixandria uses roadrunners to send messages. is this practical? no not really. does it matter? also no not really-i don't know if you can actually eat any part of cacti irl, but i know they have flowers on the rare occasion that it rains, so cactus flowers and related recipes are delicacies in pixandria. 

other:
-this is so completely impractical and also completely non-canon but i cannot stop imagining e!scott as small bird man. like about 5'7" so there's all these tall elves and then just small bird man as their king.

rivendell headcanons:
-rivendellians don't use leather because deer are sacred to them. so they use sheepskin for a lot of things. i think wolfskin/bearskin clothes would also be pretty cool, and i imagine they would trade with gilded helanthia a lot for plant-related cloths.
-owl-feather cloaks. because yes.
-elves are tea people. they just are.
-rivendell has an actual library no matter what canon says. 
-rivendell is basically run by its council, scott is a figurehead king. yes, he acts as king. yes, he has full authority, and yes he could fully run rivendell if he wanted to. most kings do. but scott just doesn't actually want to be king and he's always out flying anyway so the council just runs the city at this point and scott's fine with that.

the swamp (does it have an official name i feel bad i think it's just called the swamp empire though?)
-its people are cod-hybrids and slime-hybrids. they're just not immortal demigods like jimmy.
-jimmy's council actually does the job it's supposed to (if it exists in the au im writing). jimmy gets their input and makes decisions and they do most of the actual logistics. they're a functional system unlike most other empires.
-the people love flowers because they add color to the swamp. they do love the swamp though.
-the houses are on stilts. every house.
-moss. as in swamp moss. this is used for what moss is generally used for: carrying water, furniture, etc.

that is all i will get back to writing now. but headcanons. yes. very fun. i think i have more but that's it for today.
