Mystic Castle.

The crowd sat in awe as they watched the magician and performer donny blaze levitate around the room.

"Levitation, a simple yet very ancient art." Donny spoke confidently as he performed a backflip back onto the stage. " but it pales in comparison to....FIRE!"

Donny performed some hand motions and a flaming dragon came out of his hands, letting out a roar as it dissipated over the crowd, bringing applause and cheers.

Donny blaze chuckled, the show was going swimmingly, and now it was time to show the crowd what he could really do.

"Ladies and gentlemen i am glade you have been enjoying yourselves, but now it is time to really show you the wonders of magic." Donny said getting his sling ring ready as the crowed waited in anticipation.

"It is common knowledge that earth is just a tiny speck in the vast universe, but allow me to show you what lies further, in realms not our own." Donny began to say as he summoned a portal, allowing the crowed to see in to what lied on the other side.

Donny first showed a vast jungle with animals never seen before. "Wild life like that of the dinosaur age!" He exclaimed before closing the portal and opening another showing tree creatures. "Beings made entirely out wood!" He closed it then opened a larger one.

He then opened another, a desert like land with strange people. "And even some truly ugly things!" Donny yelled with a laugh as one of them roared and he closed the portal.

"And with that concludes the performance of donny blaze!" Donny yells as he summons some minor fireworks, recieving a standing ovation from the crowd,  he offered a smile and  a bow, the show was a success.

However hidden deep in the back of the  castle cloaked in an invisibility spell was a practitioner of the mystic arts, recording the entire thing on his phone, quickly making a portal to escape before being scene.

Kamar-Taj.

"Hmm..." Wong  sounded as he was currently in his office at the temple, analyzing a spell that would be very useful to him.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! GRANDMASTER!"

Wong looked to door. " enter!" He called, wondering what the issue was, soon one of his students, Damian came in.

"Sir, Donny blaze, his use of the mystic arts is escalating." Damian spoke as he showed Wong the recording,

Wong looked at the footage. " he wasn't capable of this before, he must have and artifact fueling his power." He spoke as the recording stopped.

"Shall we take him down at his home? Me and the others are at the ready." Damian said with determination.

Wong shook his head. " we can't risk it, if this what he is capable then he has no doubt fortified his residence, gather the others and remain posted at his next performance, subdue him, notify me if things get out of control." Wong said as put on his sling ring.

"Then where are you going now?" Damian asked wondering what Wong could be doing now instead of dealing with Donny blaze.

" there is a bigger target I must handle first" Wong said as he opened a portal to an alleyway in L.A. " and I need to talk to a lawyer." Wong said as he entered and closed the portal behind him, leaving Damian confused by the last statement.

Jennifer's apartment.

Jennifer opened her eyes and sat up with a big stretch, she then grabbed her phone and began typing.

Good Morning 💙😌

Jen grew a large smile as she got out of bed and got ready for work.   It had been a few weeks since their first date, having gone on about 5 more since then, and things were going very well, they had only gotten closer  since then.

Jen can't remember the last time she was this enthusiastic about starting the day, she wasn't even this excited when she started At GLK&H!

Jen had never thought she could feel so free around somebody, to feel genuine affection, to feel beautiful.

Y/n  had turned out to be all that and more,  and together they were quite the pair.

Flashback 1.

"What was being a kid in Japan like?"  Jen asked in human form  as she walked hand in hand with y/n down a park.

"Well technology was restricted as our parents wanted as to be physically active, so when me and Tomas weren't playing hide and seek we were improvising so to speak." Y/n said with a light smile.

"Oh? Like what?" Jen asked curiously.

Y/n  let a falling leave fall onto his free hand, he then folded it a bit, Jen was genuinely confused when he put it in his mouth but then .

Jen was impressed, if her expression was anything to go by. "H-how did you even do that?" Jen asked as he chuckled.

"Some of the older children our age did this, Tomas is much better than me." Y/n said letting the leaf flow away in the wind.

Jen curiously caught a leaf her self and tried to do it, with little success. "Blegh.." Jen said as she grimaced and broke the leaf.

Y/n chuckled at her attempt in amusement. " you can't blow on it too hard, it requires finesse."

"I can do it." Jen said stubbornly but fails. " oh cmon!"

Y/n just wrapped an arm around her and kept on walking. " cmon, before people think you have an obsession with leaves."

"Fine, but I'm gonna figure that out." Jen said pouting.

" i know you will." Y/n said with a smile.

Flashback 2.

"You really didn't have to come." Jen says with an apologetic smile in hulk-form as she pushed a cart inside a Walmart and y/n walked beside her.

"It's really not a big deal Jen, I enjoy your company and our current environment doesn't impede in that." Y/n said gesturing to the store they were in.

Jen smiled. " oh if only you know." She said as she looked through the clothing items, she was getting some clothes for a her little cousins.

"Ahh!!"

A scream caught Jen and y/ns attention,  they catch sight of a man in a ski mask taking money from a cashier who is being held at gun point.

Y/n  wants to go into action, a petty criminal with a firearm was something he could handle with both arms tied behind his back, however Jen springs into action faster.

The robber opens fire but the bullets stop dead in the tracks against Jen's skin, like the pellets of a bb gun against a bullet proof vest,  Jen grabs the pistol and crushes it like paper, then back hands the criminals stomach, leaving the man wheezing in pain on the floor.

Surrounding workers and shoppers started clapping at the heroes quick action, she then looks over to y/n. " and this is why I said you didn't have to come." Jen jokes playfully.

Y/n smiles, Jen surprised him everyday, "well I'm glad I did." He responded, he was reminded of a fact about himself,  a woman who could defend herself was a very attractive quality for him.

Flashback 3.

"Alright that's enough." Y/n said pushing Jen's drink.

Jen was in her human form so she was getting tipsy. " aw cmon I can handle another." Jen said pouting and reaching for her cup, with little success.

"I'd rather you not wake up with a headache tomorrow." Y/n said keeping her away with one arm, Jen was drinking out of stress from a recent case so she wanted to feel the kick of the alcohol but that didn't mean he was gonna let her over do it.

"Fiiiine." Jen groaned, leaning her hand on her face.

"Next time just transform and I won't have to cut you off." Y/n said shaking his head with smile.

"I already used my big clothes." Jen said in a pouty voice, the unfortunate drawback of being shehulk is that her options for clothes outside of suits were very limited so she couldn't stay shehulk throughout the entire weak, though y/n made her feel a lot more comfortable with that. " you really can't let me finish half a cup?" Jen said giving one last attempt.

Y/n couldn't help but find her expression adorable. " no can do Ms. Walters." He responds simply.

Jen stared at y/n for a moment, she didn't know if it was the alcohol in her system or just how comfortable she felt with y/n, but she went for it, placing a gentle kiss on y/Ns lips.

Y/n froze for a moment, he could predict an incoming attack but he couldn't have anticipated a kiss from Jen.

Jen detached and looked up at him with a proud smile.

"Wha-ahem,  what was that for?" Y/n said making contact with her.

Jen took immense satisfaction in making the ever reserved man flustered, though she wasn't fairing any better as her cheeks were red like peaches. "You took my drink so I had to take something." Jen said with satisfaction.

Y/n  stared at her for a moment and Jen began to wonder if she messed up. " u-uhm did I- mm" jen sounded as y/n gentle held chin a placed a kiss on her lips.

Y/n detached from her. " now we are even." Y/n said with a smirk as he rubbed her cheek gently with his thumb.

Jen smiled brightly and was this close to kissing him again.

"Oh my god that was so cute!"

Y/n and Jen looked to see Nikki jumping with joy, with Tomas having a sheepish expression interrupting them.

Jen placed her head on y/Ns chest groaned in embarrassment, while y/n just chuckled shaking his head.

Jen was positively happy, her case with blonsky was a success, with him having an ankle monitor to keep an eye on his movements, she had already heard back from him saying his counseling sessions had gone off to a good start, and she had even done a small interview on the news channel, really beginning to embrace her pseudo celebrity status.

So now jen hoped another thing would happen, making her and y/Ns relationship official.

Things were going so well and ok their last date the restaurant workers had believed they were a couple, jen believed it was time  to make things clear

"The suspense is killing me guys and i cant take it anymore." Jen said to the audience as she had some cereal. " its gotta happen, and its gotta happen tonight." Jen said firmly.

It then cuts to jen going through her closet looking for the right outfit. " i need to be bold, let him know i want him...." Jen said as she pulled out the perfect dress.  "And this will do just the trick... tonight has to be perfect , no distractions just me and him." Jen said with a big smile, looking forward to his reaction when she put this dress on tonight. " but first things first I have to head to work." Jen said as soon turns throws on her business suit and grabs her brief case. " please universe, please let this be a normal day." Jen prayed as she walked out the door.

GLK&H.

Jen was soon in her office catching up on some paper work when Nikki walked in.

"Hey, hey. They're airing your interview again. I think you should watch this time." Nikki said as she turned on the tv and put on a rerun of her interview. " also good news, I'm following some info and if there's some truth to it we can finally get you some better clothes."

Jen gave a look in mock offense "Hey I like the, the looseness makes them comfortable." Jen said as she stood up and watched the interview.

" yeah but they don't do those curves any favors, I mean gotta give y/n some eye candy right?" Nikki's asked playfully.

Jen playfully hip bumped her, mind her weight so she didn't knock her friend over. " shut up." Jen said playfully.

Suddenly  a familiar orange portal opened in the office and out walked a familiar sorcerer.

"Ms. Walters, I apologize for my intrusion." Wong apologizes ,worry clear in his voice.

"Wong Uh no  it's fine, what's wrong?" Jen asks wondering what he was concerned about.

" the situation I warned you about ..." Wong said as he closed the portal. " I'm afraid the fire has grown."

Nikki eyes widened a bit and pat Jen on the back. " Il let you handle this one." Nikki said with a light smile as she walked out the office.

Jen glanced at the camera. " why universe?...just why?" Jen whispered with groan, a normal day was too much to ask. " so what's the issue?" Jen said leading Wong over to her desk as she took a seat.

" I am having trouble with a magician, only this aims to do worse than entertain..." Wong said shaking his head. " his name is Donny blaze , he's a former student of the mystic arts, he sought to make something of himself, to use his gifts for the pleasure of a crowd and not for combat, he showed promise ..." Wong looked down as he walked around a bit. " but there was darkness in his heart..."

"How so?" Jen asked wishing to know more.

"Donny didn't just want to perform on stage , he wanted to be the best, to perform spells that had never been seen before, but his thirst for knowledge became a concern." Wong spoke with frustration. " he began tampering with magic not meant for eyes to see and to dangerous for entertainment , I forbade him from continuing and he disobeyed me, i thought excommunicated him would be enough, I was wrong to think so." Wong said as he looked out the window. " now he tampers with book that gives him access to the underworld..... if  he is not stopped...I can't begin to imagine the loss of life." Wong said in worry.

Jen was honestly a bit overwhelmed from what she just heard. " this is..a lot, and it's definitely not a legal situation, but why come to me, why not go to the avengers? Bruce even?" Jen asked as she was a rookie in stuff like this.

"The avengers are currently handling an issue in space, your cousin is included, and I'd rather not get them involved, the less eyes the better." Wong explained. " I come to you asking if you would be willing to assist should me and my group need it, I feel I can handle this but I've learned that things can always get worse." Wong said as he could really use the extra muscle.

Jen looked down at her hands, this was big, she may have dealt with a super powered client or to but this was a big jump,  she really wished she could  have been eased into this but it doesn't matter now, Jen clenched her hand with determination, she was a hulk she hasn't wimped out before she wouldn't now. " well you got me on a bad day, but if you need it just give me a call and I will be ready." Jen said with a smile outstretching her hand.

Wong smiled and shook her hand. "Let us hope I won't need it but regardless, thank you Ms. Walters." Wong then summoned another portal.

"Where are you heading now?" Jen asked curiously.

"I wish this was the only problem we were dealing with,there is another matter of concern, this one however I can handle on my own." Wong said as he walked into the portal. " il be in touch." Wong said before he closed the portal.

Jen clasped her hands together and shook her head. " your an asshole for this author." Jen groaned.
