"We've found a new one."
These words spoken by an assumingly young woman rang in Loki's ears as his blurred sight started to turn more clear again. He felt chains on his wrists and ankles that kept him kneeling on the floor.
Through his narrowed eyes the raven-haired man saw the shape of a giant purple monster on a throne-like chair.
"Who are you?", Loki asked in a somewhat commanding voice, a mistake as he realized when the woman behind him placed her foot on his shoulder, making him flinch slightly as he felt the pressure of her heel against his neck.
The purple giant leaned a little more forward. "What are you doing here?"
Loki straightened up, even though the heel was still pressed against his neck.
"I am Loki, prince of Asgard! And I warn you! Let me go or it will have consequences!"
The giant let hear a roaring laugh, then he got up and slowly walked over to the man.
"You're not going anywhere. You're going to serve me, just like everyone else."
Loki made a move forwards, trying to stab the purple monster in the leg with a knife he had made appear in his hand, but this vain gesture was greeted by a hard slap that made Loki hit the ground and lose his dagger.
"You will rue this", the giant growled, before picking Loki up by the throat and making him turn in the purple monster's hand out of fear and the pain the chains were causing in that position.

Pure pain flooded Loki's body but he couldn't make out where it came from. He suspected that it had something to do with the scepter that the giant held in his hand, or rather the glowing stone on it. He clenched his hands to fists and bit his teeth together so he wouldn't shout, but the pain was so overwhelming that he could feel tears forming in the corners of his eyes. He tried to blink them away, but another wave of pain flooded him so heavily that a gasp escaped his mouth and the illusion of his human form vanished for the smallest part of a second.
His sight started to blurr but instead of turning black a new picture appeared in his mind.
It was Thor's coronation day. Loki stood in the throne hall and watched Thor as the blonde God walked through the cheering crowds. The dark haired man resisted the urge to roll his eyes as his older brother wielded his hammer.
The ceremony began and Loki started to turn a little nervous. 'Why don't they come?', he thought.
A voice in his head replied 'Who?'
As Loki turned around he spotted Frigga staring at him.
'Nobody', he thought trying to give it a cold sound.
Frigga smiled sadly. 'My son, you don't have to be jealous. Thor might be the next king but you still are prince. And my son.'
Loki looked away focussing on the throne again. He tried to hide the sadness that crawled up it his chest, he tried to hide that he started to feel sorry for what was going to happen, and in great parts he managed it, but his mother noticed.
'What is it, Loki?'
Loki looked down just slightly.
'Frost giants...'
A new flood of pain ripped Loki out of these thoughts.
The giant laughed. "You failed, god of lies. You've lost Asgard to the enemy."
Even through the pain Loki shook his head. There seemed to be a slight relieve of it, as if the purple monster wanted to hear what the god had to say.
"I didn't lose anything", Loki whispered through clenched teath, anger in his voice. "There was nothing I could have lost."
The giant's laughter rang in the god's ears and the last thing he heard before another picture appeared in his mind again were the words: "And what do you have to lose now?"
Loki looked at his hands. They turned blue as he touched the Jotun relic.
"What am I, father?", he muttered.
"You're my son", came the unsatisfying answer.
Loki turned around, showing his frost giant form as he walked towards his father.
"What else?", he asked as his skin turned back into it's usual state.
"Am I the monster parents tell there children about at night?"
As Odin didn't reply, Loki yelled out, laying all pain and hate that flooded his body right now in his voice."Tell me!"
Odin looked down, explaining Loki's heritage to him. The young man's mind went adrift. That couldn't be true. It simply couldn't be.
He questioned it. He wanted to find out the plan behind Odin's innocent story.
"We thought, maybe we could make a peace tready with the Jotun's."
Loki's sight started to spin. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. He was...
"So I am nothing more... than another stolen relic..."
"That's right my little Asgardian prince. And you will never sit on a throne as a ruler... if you don't climb one on your own."
Suddenly all pain seemed to have left Loki's body as he sunk down to the ground.
The giant grinned evilly, but Loki didn't see that anymore. His once emerald eyes had turned blue now and a crooked grin showed up on his face as he looked up at the giant, who should have seemed even taller out of Loki's crouched down position, but to him he didn't anymore. Out of his eyes everything seemed smaller. There were no borders anymore. No borders of laws, sadness, or even pain.
An almost inhuman chuckle escaped the god's throat when he asked in a dark tone: "What is your plan, master?"
