The Train Ride |Romanogers|

Natasha Romanoff was watching at the area around her past by quickly as she rode the train. She had no plan as to where she was going she just had to get away. She had had a hard time in her old town with an ex-boyfriend and just wanted to move on.

She watched as the trees everywhere quickly faded because of the trains speed. She made a small smile as she saw a deer and it's baby. The small things had always made her smile. She always saw such innocents in animals, such innocence was shown in her according to her friends.

She believed she was alone in the train cart, which was very nice. That was until she heard someone walk into the train cart. She sighed but in all honesty, she didn't mind that because the train cart was a bit creepy when it was silent. She kept her eyes on the window when the seat across her was taken by a man.

The man was a well built and had blonde hair. Natasha looked at him for less than a second then looked away before she could look at her. She moved her red hair out of her eyes before looking at the corner of her eye at the man.

He seemed to be in his own world as he read the book he had on his lap. She noticed it was a rather old book based on the rips and wrinkles on the book cover. She smiled because people don't usually read books anymore. Everyone was always on Instagram and on Snapchat.

"What are you reading?" She found herself asking. The blonde looked up and Natasha was met with baby blue eyes that you could get lost in forever. His cheeks began to turn red, she concluded that he was kinda a dork. And when he began to speak to her he had proven her correct.

"Oh,...uhh I am umm watching... I mean reading Emma by Jane Austin." He spoke, Natasha raised an eyebrow. Not many men read that book. But she also smiled that he was such a dork.

"Really?" She asked him.

"Is...is that um bad?" He asked getting a little bit fidgetting in his seat. But Natasha shook her head giving him some comfort.

"No of course not. It's just that most men don't typically read a book about matchmaking you know? I thought they would read comic, or murder mysteries." She smiled. She looked at the book and asked. "I am guessing it's a favorite of yours?" She asked raising an eyebrow once again.

"Oh no, this is my first time reading it. It's Wanda's ." He said not realizing she didn't know who Wanda was.

"Wanda? Is that your girlfriend?" She asked a slight hint of disappointment almost impossible to hear came from her voice.

"No. No Wanda is my sister." He explains. Natasha found it really adorable how Steve would ramble on and on as if nervous. every guy she had ever talked to, including her ex-was more interested in endlessly flirting rather than a good conversation.

Steve noticed that she was staring at him blankly and realized that he was rambling once again. His face was flushed red with embarrassed.
"Sorry, I didn't realize I was rambling." Natasha smiled at the blue-eyed blonde.

"No, it's fine." She said and looked at him. She felt a sense of familiarity with the young man even though she was sure that he never met each other. Steve was feeling the same thing.

"What about you? how are you entertaining yourself on this ride?" He asked her closing his own book to look at young women.

"Oh, I like to watch the world pass by as the train goes on." She said with a relieving sigh.

"Sounds peaceful." He said sending her a nice charming smile. It was a smile that would make anyone swoon.

"Oh, it is." She smiled "So where are you going?" She asked trying to continue the conversation. He really wanted to keep talking to her as well.

"Oh.. If I am being really honest I don't know where I am going." He said. " I know it probably sounds dumb and idiotic." He said but stop his endless rambling.

"no, it doesn't seem dumb. Honestly, it is exactly what I am doing." She smiled looking at her new found friend.

"really?" He smiled. "What's your story?" He asked and Natasha began to tell him a simple phrase.

"I just wanna live a life of freedom." She said. " I wanna see the world before there is nothing left to see."

"Tough way to live? To keep moving around I mean." Steve said.

"But it's not a bad way to die. Knowing I have seen most of these worlds when I die seems to bring me a sense of peace. I think there is a lot of the world that needs to be discovered." She said leaning her head against the back of the chair.

"Sounds nice." He smiled at her.

"What about you? Why are you leaving?" She asked. The two were getting really close in such a short time. She noticed the sad face on his face. She didn't want to push and was about to tell him he didn't have to answer when the man started to speak.

"Well, I need a new surrounding for a while. My Girlfriend just passed away about a year ago." He said sadly. "She always wanted me to live a wonderful life and I can't see myself doing that at when everything in our town reminds me of her. So I have decided to see the world and maybe find a way to be happy."

"I am sorry for your loss," Natasha said sincerely.

"Oh no, it's fine. She had a wonderful life and enjoyed everything she did." Steve smiled and then looked at the young women. The two were lost in each other's eyes and smiled like dorks. They both realized they hadn't introduced each other and steve sat up straight handing his hand over to Natasha.

"I am Steve Rogers." She smiled at him taking his hand into her hand.

"Natasha Romanoff."
