Part 2.

Hydra was a group of men and women who went by their own rules. they would always terrorize many kingdoms but mostly King Nickolas's Kingdom. the leader, grant ward is a man who used to be a good friend of the kings until his true love, lady daisy was killed in a attack. another on of Fury's war. devastated he left and was taken into Hydra slowly making his way up the ladder becoming ruler. 

"get Princess Natasha out of here," Alexi called out. Natasha knew she heard many of the guest laugh at his words.

"you sure know nothing about your princess." king Stark laughed. "pepper my dear go to our chambers and wait for my arrival. i know you hate the fight." the queen nodded leaving with many servants, ladies in waiting, young teens, and men who were scared of hydra and not prepared for the battle. Natasha took the sword she hid behind her chair out surprising her father.

"I told you my dear to place that thing somewhere else." he said.

"yeah I know." she said and went to stand beside, Prince Barnes and Sir Steven.

"ready for a fight Princess?" James asked with a smirk.

"as always."

"it's been a while since seeing you in battle." Said Steve. before she could respond Grant ward came walking into the room with his goons following. Natasha left the boys and walked back up the stand with her father.

"my dear king. I was very upset when I wasn't sent a invitation to view your beautiful daughter." He said his eyes glued to Natasha.

"you look as beautiful as always my princess. you to Princess Maria. or is it queen. what ashamed all that beauty wasted on a man such as him." Ward said rolling his eyes.  he turned back to the king.

"you need to leave now this is NOT a party you should have crashed." Fury yelled.

"well i have came to throw my hat in the ring." he said smirking at Natasha.

"what are you talking about?" Alexi asked.

"I would like to marry the dear princess." he said not breaking his gaze.

"why would you?" Alexi asked as if it was the most absorbed idea in the world.

"that is not a question i have to ask. but i can and i will. I know you laws like that back of my hand.  and technically anyone is allowed to marry her. as long as they have had a royal status royalty or are royalty, which i have."

"father is that true?" Natasha asked. stealing a quick glance at Steve. Her father sighed heavily lowing his sword.

"unfortunately yes. and we have no right to diene him."

"great. my good kingdom i will see you tomorrow and the games shall begin!"

"this is amazing!" yelled Natasha once all the prince have left leaving  tony , pepper, Laura , and Clint Sam, Maria and her father.

"that the leader of the biggest teriost group wants you as his wife?" Maria asked raising a eyebrow.

"No! But he can't win." Natasha said confidently.

"Natasha he can win all of these contest. even ageists the prince who have arrived. Prince James will surly lose the archery contest with his arm." Clint said

"then sword fight will be lost by Thor, for her only use to his weapon." Sam said.

"and Alexi is too arrogant to even try his hand in any other contest. don't get me started on  Banner." Tony said. "speaking of has anyone seen him." Natasha ignored him and went back to her father.

"if we enter someone we know could win the battle then we can prevent this whole thing." She said.  the king looked at his daughter worriedly.

"who is it you have in mind." he asked.

"sir Steven." She said.

"oh Steven. gosh he is amazing." Maria said fanning herself.

"have you seen those muscles?" Pepper asked.

"and those abs." Laura said  all the kings looked at their queens annoyed and a little self conscious. 

"You would marry him?" Clint asked a bit surprised.

"oh course she would." the king said. "she has been sending messages and sneaking out to see him for the longest time."

"you knew?" Natasha asked.

"well of course. I always have two eyes opened." he said.

"then you know how i care for him and he for me."

"unfortuanly I do. and he may be our only hope." he said sighing.

"he isn't a bad man my King." Laura started. "he has saved my husbands life many times before."

"and he always supports every kingdom against hydra." Tony said.

"I know i was always hoping she would marry a king. but sir Steven is not a mad option." he concluded. "Sir Coulson call him here." he said causing a big smile from the princess.

"buck you can't be serious."  Steve said to his best friend.

"what? she is such a beautiful dame."

"yes but I believed you were courting Natasha." Steve said a bit relieved that he was no longer taking his best friends girl.

"I know but Natasha is... difficult. Lady Maximoff is just so... i don't know. I mean no harm to the princess. but I always intended to marry for love. just like you." He said. before Steve could reply a knock fell on the door.

"you are to get yourself in trouble." Steve joked and before opening around he turn to Steve and opened his eyes.

"well I always am."  he laughed and then opened the door only to be greeted by four gaurds and Sir Coulson. "i was only joking." James said holding up his hands.

"Prince James." Coulson said. "you are not in trouble as long as you haven't done anything and I am going to belief you didn't."

"i would never." he said smirking. " so Sir Coulson what brings you here. how can i help you."

" King Nickolas requests your presence." He said but James didn't see him looking at Steve.

"I will be there right now." James said but Coulson interrupted.

"No he request the presence of Sir Steven." James looked offended but smirked at Steve.

"so you did something bad." he laughed. and shook his head and Steve's heart was beating fast. he was worried someone had found out about him and the princess. Nervously he stood up and walked out of the room.

Steve walked into the grand hall. The hall was full of King Clint, Tony, Fury, Sam  , Queen Laura, Pepper, and Maria. and then Princess Natasha who sat in her chair next to the king.  

Steve's heart raced with all the kings and queens looking at him. King Clint looked as if he was judging him. the queens looked quiet happy with his arrival. Natasha however, wasn't so easy for steve to read. she never was.

"my king you have summoned me?" He asked taking a bow.

"yes, it has past my attention that Sir Ward has the upper hand in winning the hand of my dear daughter. Our prince fighting for her having nothing on him. but it was brought to my attention that someone in the castle has the ability to win her hand." He declared leaving Steve rather confused.

"I don't understand your majesty."

"for lords sake boy he wants you to compete in the battle to win the princesses hand." King Stark said.  Steve looked surprised that he was getting this option. He always believed that he would have to run away with the princess to get her hand. he has loved her since he saw her take down Loki's army. Brave and beautiful plus a great sense of humor. She had always been the one he knew would be able to put his heart at peace. no one else possessed that quality. But now he was being asked to compete for her. By the king himself. This was a honor beyond length. 

"Sir, I would love to have your daughter for a queen. but." All the faces of the kings a queens droped and before he could finish a outrage when out.

"But? there is no buts lord Steven." King Clinton said.

"She needs a king and you have been choosen you can't diene the king." Queen Maria stated.

"He is foolish i say she marry Prince Thor, for he is not a bad choice." King tony said.

"that is not a choice she can make it's a comeptiotion." Queen Pepper said.

"Enough!" Yelled the king.

"i have a idea why don't you let Lord Steven finish his sentence before you go all stone age on him."  The princess requested. they all nodded and turn their attention make to Steve. 

"i was going to say that Lord Ward has beaten me in battle before." He said shamfully.

"yes, but he only did because he cheated." Queen Maria said.

"and what makes you think he won't do it again. and I will not cheat if i am to win the princess hand I want it to be in fairness." Steve said earning a grown from King Stark. 

"This boy will die in the world." he said.

"Give some hope. He is the best worrior I know. for he has taken down each and everyone of you in battle." Natasha said with a proud smile.

"That was not battle. it was a competition agaist kingdoms for fun, and I may say I was just a little off." Tony said.

"Yes and i was not having the best day." Clinton said.

"what ever you want to call it he has won. he has won many battle and will contiunte to wow our kingdom by winning my hand." Natasha said standing up and walking toward steve and everyone was confused as to what she was doing. "and if he shall fail i will be in the hands of Lord Ward." This was making Steves blood boil. she knew he was often the one to get jealous and she was getting him very jealous. which means he will be doing his best to win her. he hated the thought of anyone else with his Princess.  "But if that's what you want."  she said.

"oh she is good." Tony whispered.

"My princess you know i won't let that happen." Steve said.

"good then I expect you to train you butt of." She said to him before walking away.

"where are you going princess?" King Samuel asked.

"To Kick Prince Alexi out of the treasury."

"how did you know?" Clint asked she walked away.

"he stole a key from the gaurds while I danced with Prince Banner. he is not so secretive ." She said leaving Steve alone with the kings and Queens to talk about preparations.

Later that night.

Steve sat in the garden he was to meet his princess in. he looked up at the beautiful stars and smiled. as much beauty that was in the sky could never compare to the beauty of his love.

"Steve." Said a soft voice. He smiled instantly recognizing the voice.

"hi my love." he said standing up and placing a kiss on her cheek.

"I am glad you have taken the position for fighting for my hand." She said taking a seat next to his original spot.

"I glad you father allows it. but I fear i will only lose you. and you hand will be in his hand. and as for me. well i would be left alone."

"you know i won't let that happen. we will run away."

"if Ward becomes king we cannot run my dear. you people will need you."

"as i wish i was never royalty. I just wanted a normal life. one i was hoping to get with you."

"and i you. but with the life we lead it can't be done." He told her. she placed her head on his shoulder and sighed.

"I know but If you win this battle we will be happy right?"  she asked.

"i am always happy with you." he said entwining his fingers with hers. they spent hours just sitting with each other looking at the sky.

the next day everyone was up early. King Clint had trained Steve in the archery contest. King Sam helped him sword fight along with king Tony.

Natasha spent her morning with the other princes for breakfast. all were quiet boring to the princess. All of them have been informed of Steve's entrance in the contest and were quiet happy. all except Prince Alexi. This would surly be a long contest they would all have to go through.

hey guys i was wondering if you would like to see this in a short story of it's own. because i have so many ideas for the story it would just be too long for the one shot book. but if not i will just skip time and the next chapter will be the contest. but if you wanna see what happens in the time between all of that i will transfer it to another separate book.
