Teachers |Romanogers|

So the second part of this AU is based on an encounter I had with my teachers where I awkwardly walked into them, I believe they were like having a moment and I just ruined it. But yeah me being the awkward person I am I ruined it. But whatever it isn't my business but I am also very over dramatic so I am gonna write about it.

Natasha Romanoff was the English professor at Marvel College, she was by far one of the most loved teachers at the school. Today was just another boring day at around 'brunch' when a quiet knock tapped on Natasha's English classroom door. She smiles.

"Hello, Steve." She smiles.

"Hey, Natasha." He said walking in with his cup of coffee.

"What brings you to this side of the school?" She asked sitting up straight. Her classroom was on the other side of the building so it was a bit out of his way. Steve was the History teacher and the History buildings were down the at least a five-minute walk and when you are a teacher that is a lot of time.

"Just walking around saying hi to everyone." He said Natasha raised an eyebrow as if not believing him at all. But he doesn't care because he honestly wanted to see her and there is no harm in that. He knew that both teachers and Students talked about Natasha and him, but it didn't seem to bother them. People can think what they wanted but they were just friends.
"What are you working on?"

"Job recommendation for one of my students. Well actually it's just an internship but you know how important those are. Actually, you may know her." She said.

"Who is it?" He asked, honestly he was curious. He was always interested in whatever she had to say to him.

"Wanda Maximoff she wants to become an internship at Shield industries. And I happen to know the owner or CEO of the company." She said Steve raised an eyebrow as if asking who. "It's my father he runs the company."

"So why the letter then?" He asked.

"My father is a stickler for doing things his way. So I can't just say I want this person to have a job. He takes it all very seriously. I am sure that Wanda would appreciate it more if she got the internship fairly." Natasha said.

"She is a college kid Nat, I am sure she doesn't care," Steve responded a smile tugged at her lips.

"So what about you then? How are your classes going?" She asked him.

"They are long, my class is great though. Wanda is in my class as well and she is always talking about you. Slightly mentioning a couple of times how we look adorable." He laughed.

"As does everyone else in this school." Natasha laughed. She had been told once and twice that she and Steve would be perfect or how adorable of a couple they are. But neither really noticed because the things they did just were a habit.

"Well, I should have known." Another voice said walking into the classroom. Natasha looked up to see Clint Barton, the other English teacher. "You two are always in here together. Should have guessed."

"Hello Clint," Steve said nodding at Clint. Clint smiled.

"Hey, Steve. Sorry, I don't mean to ruin your guy's brunch but I have to talk to Natasha. In private." He said. The disappointment on Steve's face was evident but Natasha didn't push. He gave Natasha a nod before leaving them alone. "That boy has it bad." Muttered Clint.

The next day

Wanda was walking to Natasha's classroom a little bit earlier because she loves having a small conversation with her in the mornings. She was walking when a soft laugh was heard from Natasha's classroom. She frowned walking close.

"I think you look beautiful." Someone said to Natasha.

"Aw that's sweet of you but you don't have to lie to me." She said and Wanda knew she was doing the nervous thing where she tucks her hair behind her ear.

"I would never lie to you." He responded. There was silence, so thinking that the conversation was over Wanda walked in. She didn't know how to read people... well Natasha very well but she knew they were in the middle of a moment and it was too late for her to rush out of the room.

"Oh uh hi Wanda," Steve said awkwardly as Natasha took a big step away from Steve pretending to look for something on her desk.

"Hi, Mr. Rogers." She smiled. "How are you." She asked politely. Steve laughed nervously.

"I have been better." He said she smiled about to take her seat as Steve turned to Natasha who was now sitting at her desk. "I will see you around." He said and Natasha nodded at him as he left. She sighed and looked up as other students piled around in her class. She took a moment for her face to return to normal.

"What's up with her?" Shuri, the foreign exchange student, asked taking her seat by Wanda who was also trying to return from her embarrassment. Wanda shrugged her shoulders and went to focus on Natasha as she started to talk.

Natasha was at school the next day and was staying there rather late. It was about seven thirty when a very familiar knock greeted her ears. She looked up to see Steve standing there with a smile.

"Natasha it's almost eight what are you doing here?" He asked walking into her class. She was now no longer dressed nicely, instead, she had pulled a hoodie over her plane. There was a reason she kept extra clothes in her room. Her neatly braided hair was also in a bun at this point.

"I am grading Steve. You may not have heard of it but it's very important." She said laughing to herself because of how mockingly she had said it. He sat at the corner of her desk with a smile on his face.

"I am offended considering my students love my class way more than yours." He said with a smirk.

"Oh, whatever." She answered. She looked over at Steve and lazily laid her head against her chair and smiled. Steve turned his head slightly to look at her. They were always having sweet small moments like this but never dwelled on it.

"You look tired," Steve said smiling at her. A soft chuckle left Natasha's lips.

"Thanks, Steve, that's what I wanted to hear. You certainly have a way with words." She mocked him. Steve shook his head and stood up. He lifted his hand and pointed it in her director. She raised an eyebrow confused over his motions.

"Come on." He said with a beautiful trusting smile. Natasha reluctantly took his hand as he pulled her up. "Trust me you're gonna love with." She didn't know where they were going but she trusted him.

Steve started to lead her up to the roof, he eagerly pulled her hand so she could pick up the pace, she was still quite tired so she wasn't moving as fast as he would have liked.

"Steve calm down, you are making me think that you are taking me to my death!" She exclaimed as she made her way up the long flight of stairs. Steve laughed at her comment.

"I would never hurt you, Nat," He said, and for some reason that phrase made it's way up to her heart causing her to smile. Steve always knew what to say in order to make her smile.

Steve took his keys out of his pocket to open the door to the roof before them was the beautiful night sky. You could clearly see all the stars, there was no cloud in the sky, the moon shining down on them perfectly. It was almost as if it was right out of a painting.

"Steve," She gasped, "This is beautiful!" She was in awe of it all. Natasha turned to look at Steve, her face was now alive and the once tiredness that filled her body was gone. Steve felt his heart flutter at her smile. "How often do you come up here?"

"It's very stressful you know, being a college teacher, some times I just need to be alone," She smiled at Steve's words. Steve was always a sweet guy, and she loves it.

"Thank you for showing me this Steve, it's beautiful." She said, she turned around and walked toward the edge and Steve felt a little fear fill up in his stomach as she sat down at the ledge.
"Come here, Steve!" She said and Steve carefully walked toward her. She was looking out at the sky, the moon hitting her face making her look beautiful and enchanting. "Isn't it beautiful?" He looked at her and smiled.

"It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen," he replied. The rest of the night consisted of the two friends talking into the night, pointing out new constellations and just relaxing. Natasha felt so tired by the time they decided to leave.

"Hey, I can't let you drive home like this, you can barely keep your eyes open," Steve said softly. "Why don't you come to my place? It's closer."

"Oh no, I don't want to intrude, Steve," She said shaking her head.

"Please, I insist," He gave her that look, the one that would make you agree to murder.

"Okay," She smiled, she knew Steve would have no problem taking her tomorrow. She walked to her car and pulled out a bag.

"You keep extra clothes in your car?" Steve asked raising an eyebrow.

"You don't?" She teased, as she got into his car which Steve was holding the door open for her. Ever such a gentleman. She knew she would be okay tonight.

The next morning Natasha arrived at school with Steve by her side. Last night nothing happened, but being in his house gave her a sense of calm throughout her body, but she couldn't tell you why.

"Hey I have to get to class but uh you wanna have lunch?" Steve asked grabbing his papers from the back seat.

"Sorry Steve but we have different lunches today, I have my junior class today," She replied and Steve couldn't help but feel disappointed at her reply but he understood.

"Oh no problem, another time then?" he asked and she nodded her head lightly. Steve smiled at took off for his class. She couldn't help but watch as he left, I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave.

"Nat, why are you here in front of Steve Rogers car?" Natasha turned around to see Maria Hill, the other English teacher standing there with a teasing smirk on her face.

"What? Oh um, he gave me a ride," Natasha pushed off lightly.

"No you can't do that, don't push this off like it's nothing because we both know it's something," Maria said. "There is no way that Steve Rogers went to pick you up at six in the morning just so you can save energy because your car is still here," Natasha was silent before a light bulb went off in her brain. "Did you and Steve spend the night together!"

"What? No of course not! Maria, please keep your voice down people already think that Steve and I are dating." She rolled her eyes.

"well if it's true then I don't see a problem," Maria said following the redhead into the building.

"It's not and I am going to ignore them and you," She said rolling her eyes and heading into her classroom. Maria laughed.

"You can lie to yourself but you can't lie to me!" She said, but Natasha ignored her and settled into her desk to prepare for a long day of students and a lesson that they were probably not going to listen to.

Later that day, Natasha was allowing her class to work on the latest essay she assigned, and she couldn't help but look at the clock. She loved teaching but right now Steve was on her mind due to his invitation to lunch. There was just something about Steve that captivated her.

"Ms. Romanoff?" A young voice pulled Natasha from her thoughts about Steve.

"Yes, Wanda?" She asked the young girl who always sat closest to her desk. "I have a question about this essay," She began to speak but someone walking back and forth in front of her door caught her attention. A certain blonde seemed to be debating whether or not he should come in her classroom, she found it quite charming and adorable.

"So do you think that it was okay?" She asked, and all Natasha did was nod before politely excusing her. She walked over to her door and looked up to see a nervous Steve Rogers talking to himself.

"Hey nat I brought you some lunch..." he tried going over what he could say. "no that's stupid. Nat, I have some extra lunch maybe you would want some?" He said

"Oh, I would love some lunch." She said startling Steve, to the point where he almost jumped back. Steve's face became red from embarrassment. "You wanna come in Rogers or are you gonna stay out there?" He nodded and walked in with the food over to his desk. None of the kids really acknowledged his existence but Wanda who smiled and waved at him.

"I didn't mean to bug you during class but I remember you saying you had to work during your lunch so I figured I bring you something so you can get through the day,"

"Aw Steve, that's so sweet of you," she said looking in the bag to see a homemade sandwich, meaning he had to go all the home to make it, but she didn't point it out.

"It's no problem," He said. The two stared at each other for a few moments before he felt the eyes of her students now on him. "Um I should get back I have class in five minutes," He said and Natasha nodded smiling at him. She watched him leave once more before taking her sandwich out of the bag, it was wrapped in a napkin with a note written across.

Wanna have dinner with me Friday night?

Monday Morning

Natasha walked down the hall of the historic building giving slight smiles to the students who waved at her. Natasha couldn't deny the happiness she has been feeling since Friday night.

Her date with Steve was a success, he surprised her with dinner at a small restaurant just out of town. He took her home and the night ended like any cliche date in a movie, a kiss. It was a scene out of a movie.

Natasha smiled at the thought of the date and as she drew closer to Steve's class she couldn't help but smile. She walked in unnoticed by him and saw him drawing in the black book she gave him for Christmas last year. She saw him with a red pencil lightly shading in something on the paper. She didn't know what he was drawing and as she neared he closed it before she could see. she wouldn't push, he would show her when he is ready.

"Nat, I didn't know you were coming," He said with a smile that made her all giddy inside.

"do I need an excuse to see my blondie?" She teased.

"I guess not," He said and stood up to stand in front of her as she leaned against his desk. "You look beautiful today,"

"Do I not look beautiful any other day Rogers?" She teased once again. Steve has gotten pretty used to the constant tease or remarks to come out of her mouth. Now they even made her smile.

"Oh no, you look stunning every day of the week." He replied.

"Charm will get you nowhere," She smirked.

"WIll it get me a good morning kiss?" He asked leaning closer to her. Natasha smiled but turned her head to meet his lips. Natasha smiled into the kiss and so did Steve this peaceful bliss is something they loved. They loved knowing no one else knew. Added to the beauty of their relationship. That was until they heard the voices of Sam Wilson and Maria Hill outside their door.

"I KNEW IT!"
