Blood Ridden | Romanogers Mafia |

Warning. Dark. This is probably the darkest story I've ever written.

"Rogers," Bucky's booming voice rang out in Steve's office as he finished the last bit of paperwork he had to deal with. "I swear to you, and believe me when I say this, I am about to drop-kick your wife."

"Please," Sam said, following Bucky into his office. "She could take you out with her pinky."

"She took another one of my kills." Bucky hissed. "I am done with this."

"Relax would you?" Steve said, his voice ever so calm. "She's gotten a taste for the kill Buck, you remember your first kill don't you?" He asked.

Steve Rogers was born into the Mafia scene, his father was high up in the gang, and when Steve was old enough he took control over the entire gang. His best friends, James 'Bucky' Barnes, and Sam Wilson, were like brothers and they were his right-hand men, they took care of everything. To the world, he was simply a billionaire, ran a company, but in reality he was in charge of one of the biggest gangs in the world.

Steve met his wife when she was fresh out of college. She was pure, she was a dancer. Grew up in a quiet town, adopted by a nice couple, never knew anything about the world Steve came from. It was by luck they met, but when Steve saw her he knew he had to have her.

She was with a doctor at the time, but with a bit of persuasion, and Steve's ever so charming personality, he was able to snatch her up. She was shy and didn't like Steve's work. She stayed away from it all and focused on her career. Steve and Natasha's adoptive father got along quite nicely, and Steve even began helping him with his business. Steve's mother adored Natasha, it was perfect. They married after only a year, both knowing there would never be anyone else.

She made Steve a better man, he wasn't as cruel, but he had a bigger impact on her as it seems.

They were raided at one of the drop sights for a new product, Natasha was in the car waiting for him when Steve was attacked. She came out of the car and shot the man who dare held a gun to her husband's head.

Yes, Steve could have taken out the man, but he had to admit when he saw her step out of the car he was intrigued to see what she would do. She saved him. It was her first kill, and it seems that his once timid wife had truly awakened.

That was over two months ago. Since then Steve allowed Natasha to shadow Bucky. She was already a good fighter, Steve taught her a few things and she took classes for self-defense growing up. She's taken quite well to her new life while maintaining her life as a dancer, America's sweetheart if you will.

"Believe me Steve I am overjoyed that you get to have your wife all up in the family business, and I am sure it's made it's way to your bedroom, but what I don't appreciate is when she kills Rollins, knowing full well I've been waiting months to kill that idiot."

"She killed Rollins?" Steve asked. Bold. Rollins runs with Rumlow, who Steve is waiting to kill himself, maybe he should let his dear wife do it. What a sight that would be, and besides it would torture Rumlow that much more.

"Pretty badass," Sam commented. Sam really liked Natasha, Bucky did too he was just frustrated. But Sam admired her and appreciated her. She was the one to introduce him to his girlfriend Maria.

"I don't care if it was badass. Have a word with her Rogers."

"Let her have her fun, Buck."

"What are you boys talking about?" Natasha asked walking into the room. She wore a white dress, her red hair standing out, along with her red lips. She wore heels to better match Steve's height. They were going out tonight.

"Bucky's bitching about you taken his kill." Sam filled in.

"Come on Barnes, I meant no harm. But he was getting on my nerves and quite frankly I was doing you a favor. You and I both know you didn't want to kill in front of Wanda," Wanda was Natasha's friend, she knew of their secret life but was not particularly interested in taking part in any of it. She was simply coming to talk with Natasha, and their butler led her to the interrogation room. Thus causing Barnes to freeze.

"That is beside the point." He hisses. "Look Nat, I like you, you know I do, but I wanted to kill that son of a bitch for ages."

"Yet you haven't." She said. "James, if you want an apology so bad, fine. I'm sorry."

"See?" Steve said reaching for his jacket. Natasha gave him a quick peck on the lips when he walked over to her. "All forgiven?"

"You are lucky you're beautiful, doll." He said. Bucky wasn't really angry, no one was ever really angry at Natasha. She had a certain quality about her that just made it impossible to be angry at her. Maybe that's why she was able to keep Steve tame and not be killed for it. "So where are you two heading?"

"My mother is hosting a gala tonight," Steve informed. "Would have told you about it, but she has banned both of you from attending any of her gala's."

"You kill one man during her speech and suddenly you're banned for life?" Sam asked. "Unbelievable."

"Heads up Sam," Natasha smirked. "Maria's coming over to raid my closet again, you and your girlfriend will have some alone time."

"Please don't give him ideas." Bucky groaned.

"Ready doll?" He asked with a smile, he held out his arm for his wife to take. She took it graciously and the two walked out of the room together. Steve adored taking his wife out, especially to his mother's galas. She loved to dance, and Steve loved watching her dance. His mother always made sure the music was suited for Natasha to dance to.

"Always,"

The party was nice. It was a nice change of scenery compared to their usually blissful lifestyle. Steve liked taking a step away, more so, he liked looking at the look on his beautiful wife's face as she danced well into the night.

"Have I told you how beautiful you are?" He whispered into her ear as they swayed to the music.

"Only 10 times in the last hour."

"Only ten? I need to step up my game." He laughed lightly, before kissing the side of her head. "I can see us doing this forever."

"What exactly is this?" She asked. "Dancing? Cause if so, count me in."

"No. I meant just being with you."

"If anyone else knew what a sweet talker Steve Rogers is, well let's just say you wouldn't be as fear darling."

"What are you talking about? The world loves me."

"Yes, the world that doesn't know your secret life. But that's okay because even if they do love you, they can't have you. Not like I have you."

"Have I mentioned how sexy it is when you get all jealous? It's like when Lorraine-"

"I swear to god Steven. If you bring that woman up one more time." Lorraine was Steve's hook up before he met Natasha, she liked to think they were dating. Steve didn't date. Not before Natasha anyway.

"Lorraine has nothing on you."

"Eh, she was hot. Might not be lucky, however, cause at the end of the day, you are coming home to me, at our house, in our room, in our bed."

"That, my dear, is the truth." He gave her a loving smile. "Would you like some wine?" he asked, she nodded and he stepped away to get her a glass, Natasha busied herself with some people around the room.

It was getting late, all the socialites have long left the party, leaving only Steve's other, more quiet business partners at the gala. Sarah Rogers, as she was once apart of this life, took the time to speak with old associates of her. Steve was on a mission tonight.

"Would you look at that? Steve Rogers, the most feared man, slow dancing with his wife." A man's chuckle came from behind him. "and fetching his dear wife some wine."

"Richards." Reed Richards, as a man of Steve's standard. Rich, useful, powerful, and if would say so, a handsome man. He held a lot of power in everything that he did. He was going to be useful once Steve gets his alliance. "Where's Susan?"

"Around. She likes to watch. Hide in plain sight."

"I'm surprised you came. I know this isn't usually your scene."

"Well when the lord of the underworld invites you to his mother's gala, you better not decline the offer. But I must say, watching you play nice with all those politicians, and other celebrities was delightful and the highlight of my night.  You should go into acting."

"Are you saying I am not a courteous host Richards?"

"Oh no, I am just saying that you play the innocent billionaire card well. If anyone had any reason to doubt you no one would believe them. It's a beautiful cover if I do say so myself."

"Thank you," Steve said taking his and Natasha's glasses of wine in hand.

"Speaking of beautiful. Why don't we talk about your wife? I hear she's taking a part of her husband's secrete life."

"Reed. My wife deserves more than to talk about behind her back. Why don't you come and ask her about it yourself? I am sure she'd love to talk about the kill she took just this morning."

"Hmmm. She's taken to this life quite nicely. I will speak to her. I must know the aspects of your relationship."

"Why?" Steve narrowed his eyes at the man before him.

"You are protective of her. That's nice. But don't go crazy on me now. If I am to align myself with the likes of you, I must ensure that both sides of the company are committed."

"As you wish." Steve began walking to his wife. She was speaking with Thor, and his wife Sif. They were friends of Steve's but they excused themself when they saw him walk up with Reed following close behind. "Natasha."

"Oh there you are my love, I was beginning to think you've forgotten about me."

"Forgotten about you? Love you must have had too much to drink if you think one can simply forget about you." He laughed handing her a glass of wine. "Darling let me introduce you to-"

"Reed Richards." She finished.

"I see my name travels fast," Reed smirked taking Natasha's hand and giving it a chaste kiss.

"My husband has praised your work a lot." She offered. "It's nice to finally put a face to a name."

"Well, I can say the same. Steve keeps you so hidden, but one as beautiful as you should be shown and appreciated by the world."

"Careful with your words Mr. Richards, my husband is the protective sorts."

"He'd be a fool not to. And if I know anything about your husband." He turned to look Steve over. "I know he is anything but a fool."

"A perfect business associate if I do say so." Natasha smiled.

"Yes. Perhaps." Reed shrugged. Steve was getting frustrated. He wanted to make business deals not watch this man flirt with his wife. "How about you two come with me."

"Where to?" She asked, taking her husband's hand. Reed gave a nod to his wife as she came over from her spot in the corner.

"I wanna see if the rumors are true. If the wife of Steve Rogers has truly taken a liking to the business." Natasha shared a look with her husband who shrugged. Following Reed to his limo. Where was he going with this?

*

Reed drove them well away from the party, to a small cabin just outside of town. There was nothing to be heard for miles except for the loud roaring wind. Steve did his usual sweep to make sure there was no one there who wasn't supposed to be there.

"Follow me," Reed said, he sent them both a wicked smirk leading them in. He guided them into the cabin, and then down the large steps. Steve and Natasha kept close to one another, while Natasha is getting used to Steve's life, this was a huge step forward.

"As you may have heard the rumors, I've been targeted recently by a certain scientist by the name of Victor don Doom." He shook his head. "He's a real pain in the ass, however, I am about to cover that one."

"Why did you bring us here Richards," Steve asked narrowing his eyes at the man as he opened a chest of guns and weapons.

"Because you wife," He held up a clean silver gun. "Is gonna be the one to solve my problem."

"You want her to kill this man?" Steve asked. Reed smirked.

"I want her to hunt this man."

*

Steve and Natasha had made there was into a large hotel where Victor was staying. It was the next night and they had a plan in suit. Bucky and Sam were outside keeping watch.
"Are you okay?" Steve asked, they were in the restaurant in the hotel, Victor was at the bar. They were waiting for him to be left alone.

"Of course." She smiled, reaching over. "I should be asking you that question."

"I never meant for you to be dragged into my business deal."

"Please," She smirked. "I'm having a lot of fun."

"Is that so?" She nodded her head. "Well, at least there's that."

"You need to relax my dear husband. I am expecting quite the payment afterward, I am missing a very important dinner with my parents."

"Ah well, I will make that up to you." He smirked. "But you will have to wait and see."

"Ever the tease, Mr. Rogers."

"Only for you Mrs. Rogers."

"Hey before you two start undressing each other with your eyes, remember we can hear you." Sam's voice came from over the coms they had hidden in their ears.

"Way to ruin the moment Wilson," Natasha let out, she look at her husband through her lashes. "Looks like Mr. Doom is alone." She said in almost a whisper. "I am going to get a drink." She said in a much louder voice, at that Steve's phone rang, that was his signal to leave. Excusing themselves, Natasha walked over to the bar where Victor sat.

He took notice of her right away. Even knowing who she was.
"Mrs. Rogers." He said.

"Have we met?" She asked, playing her part.

"No." He looked her over, not bothering to hide it. "But I know of your husband. He's the richest person on Earth. Everyone on Earth knows about him."

"He's a great man." She smiled.

"Is he here tonight?"

"He's around here somewhere," Victor looked around before moving closer to Natasha.

"Such a shame he left you all alone." He smirked. "I would never leave your side if you were mine." Natasha only watched him, his breath wreaked of alcohol. But she had to admit she was enjoying watching him get caught up in her trap.

"Is that so? I don't even know your name."

"Victor. Victor Don Doom. I'm a scientist. Taking down the top class with my extraordinary mind."

"Is that so?" She smiled. "That's very impressive."

"My work takes a lot of skill and focus." He nodded. "Of course, I can focus on other...more important things for a night."

"You are rather bold Mr. Doom. My husband could come and-"

"Your husband? He may be rich but he is rather the definition of...well I know better than to use words like that around a lady." He shrugged. "Come on dear. Let me show you what a real man knows."

She could practically hear the anger in Steve's breathing over the com. She almost smirked. Teasing him brought her so much joy lately. This man standing before her, well he knew nothing of who she was and what she liked, cause if he did then he wouldn't be standing here.

"Your offer is tempting." He smirked at her words and wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Come on dear, let's head up."

*

Victor busied himself preparing a drink for Natasha, as she scanned the room. Taking in everything incase the situation heads south. She watched his movement carefully afterwords. He had a smirk on him, his mind far off, yet very close.

"No need to worry darling,"

"Do I have something to worry about?"

"No of course not. I will make it my personal mission to make sure your husband never finds out about this meeting."

"I appreciate that." She said. He put the two glasses he hand on the coffee table before making his way closer to her, pulling her in by her waist.

"How about we just skip the pleasantries and get right down to business? I am sure that's why you came up. Not for wine and talk."

"You certainly know how to charm me, Victor."

"Remember that," He smirked and then went to kiss her, but before he could she pulled away, grabbing and twisting his arm, causing him a scream out in pain. "ahh what the hell!"

"I'm sorry to disappoint Victor, but the only man allowed to Charm me is my husband." Victor was in complete shock. "And my dear husband wants to combine alliances."

"Okay okay fine. Whatever he wants! Just don't hurt me." She smirked as the fear in his voice rang out.

"Not with you. No, he has his eyes on Richard Reeds. Have you heard of him?"

"Damit." She heard him mumble under his breath.

"He sends a message Doctor." She got close and whispered in his ears. "Never mess with someone more powerful than you."

Natasha walked out of the hotel four hours later. She smiled at the employees as she left and joined Steve in the limo. Sam and Bucky were upstairs taking care of her mess. She sat down and Steve watched with a smirk.

"Have fun?"

"A blast." She answered. "I can see why you enjoy this part of the job."

"What was it? The blood draining from their body, or their pleads for you to have mercy."

"Both." She answered and reached for his tie. "Now that I have gotten you your business partner I am sure it's time for my payment. I don't work for free."

"Have I ever told you how in awe I am of you?"

"All the time." She smirked. He reached out and wiped a small stain of blood that was behind a strand of hair.

"It seems as you find more joy in this than I do." She laughed lightly at his words.

"You are a rather bad influence, my love." She smirked. "But I wouldn't have it any other way." She laughed. Steve gave him a smile, filled with love and admiration. He couldn't see himself ever looking at anyone else the way he looks at Natasha.

They met, they learned each other, they adapted, they changed, they loved. There was no denying the love between these two people. Now with their love, they quickly became the most love and feared couple in America. What could possibly be better happily ever after?
