A Kikurm? (OC KikiXNurm) request from DiabolicalSeal

3rd Person POV in Beacontown

After deciding to stay in Beacontown two months ago, Jesse, with the help of her new Co-Hero-In-Residence Radar, had begun to help the town to rebuild itself and to give the former Admin tower a "Beacontown Makeover" under Radar's guidance.

Meanwhile, in another section of town, a girl wearing a purple sundress, a matching rose tucked behind her ear, with cyan eyes, and the same fiery orange hair as her sister Petra had entered Jack's shop.

"Hey Jack, you in here?" She called out looking around until she saw him feeding a parrot that was perched above some bookshelves that looked like they'd been ransacked.

"Hey Kiki, how's it going?" He asked as he finished giving the parrot the last of the wheat seeds he had with him.

"Pretty good, have you seen Nurm around? He told me he'd help me with enchanting my sword." Kiki replied pulling out a golden sword, similar to Petra's Miss Butter. 

"He... told you?" Jack looked at Kiki a bit confused.

"No, not told told me, but I got the general gist of what he was trying to say when I was trying to work an enchant table with no idea on how to work it." She replied looking slightly annoyed at herself for admitting that.

"He said he'd be at the Order Hall since Jesse let him borrow some lapis from the supply room over there. He also told me to give these to you." Jack handed some glowing books to Kiki.

"Cool, thanks. I'll see you later, my sister should be coming to visit today so I want to finish this before she arrives." Kiki said as she ran out of the shop waving to Jack on the way out.

Running Time Skip

When Kiki arrived at the Order Hall, she walked through the automatic opening doors and saw that Radar was there chatting with Nurm about what he should add to the Admin Tower: glowing waterfalls or a water elevator through the bottom peak of the tower.

"Hi Radar, Nurm you ready to do some enchanting?" She asked as she pulled out the enchanting books.

"Gah sorry! I didn't realize I was interrupting anything, I'll go ask Lukas what he thinks and get back to you on this later." Radar practically squeaked as he dashed out of the Hall right past Kiki.

"Is he always like this?" Kiki asked as she gave the books to Nurm since she didn't know Radar that well other than he's a friend Petra met before her adventure with Jesse against the Admin.

"Hrmm..." Nurm said as he nodded his head looking concerned for the anxiety-prone Co-Hero-In-Residence.

"Alright, let's do this." Kiki pulled out her enchanted sword to be and placed it on the enchant table.

Enchanting Time Skip

Kiki took the last enchanting book from Nurm they had for Unbreaking III and placed it on an anvil to be combined with her sword. A bright light shone for a few seconds and the enchantment had been added to the sword.

"Hrm hmm." Nurm pulled his arms apart to take the sword off the anvil and handed it to Kiki.

"It's done? Cool, now I'll totally be able to beat my sister in our next duel." Kiki swung the swors around a few times like she was practicing before Nurm cocked his head and raised eyebrow in question.

"I've been wanting to beat Petra in a sword duel for awhile. I've always been beaten by her because she always had the stronger weapon and with better fight experience." She admitted and sat down next to the anvil and Nurm sat down next to her.

"Now I only have a stronger weapon, so I don't even think I'll be able beat her..."

"Hrm." Nurm stood up and pulled his arms apart to again, gesturing for Kiki to try and attack him.

"You want me to attack you?" He nodded and she shrugged and tried to attack him from the side, but he pulled out two iron axes and blocked her attack before swiping her feet out from under her.

"Hm hrm." Nurm nodded to her before getting into a fighting stance.

"I need to work on my balance?" Nurm nodded.

"Ok..." Kiki got up and put her feet apart to where they were pointed forward, but close to where she could still move quickly. She tried to attack again and this time, managed to knock one of Nurm's axes out of his hands, but it flew up and its handle knocked her on the head on its fall down.

Just as she was rubbing the slightly sore area on her head, she heard someone trying to stifle their giggles and turned around to see Petra hiding next to the door with her hand in front of her mouth.

"Hi Petra, I can see you there." Kiki said as she sheathed her sword and walked over to her sister to give her a hug.

"I'd say you really handled that blow." Petra laughed as she returned the hug.

"Really? That was so bad. Anyway, I'm ready for our duel." Kiki said confidently as she pulled out her enchanted gold sword and got into the fighting stance Nurm showed her giving him a thankful smile and her sister got into position and they charged each other.
