A Jeskas (MJesse X Lukas) oneshot request from StoryTimeWithMisty

Jesse's POV

Ohh man, I don't feel so good...

I woke up feeling like I had been run over by a minecart that had an anvil in it, my head was throbbing like crazy, and my vision was blurry and warped.

"Noooo...." I moaned as I struggled to keep standing after I dragged myself out of bed, but I slowly slid down to the floor in exhaustion.

"Come on, Jesse, you can overcome this c-cold." I tried to assure myself until I started sneezing so violently I could've sworn my windows were rattling.

"Maybe some food will help..." I managed to hobble over to the kitchen in the Order Hall and, while rummaging through the cupboards, I heard the Hall's new raising door that Olivia installed open and close.

"Hey Jesse, you up?" I heard Lukas call out.

Oh crud...

"We've got a lot of work to get to." I heard my new assistant, Radar, add.

Double crud...

"Jesse? Are you alright man, you don't look so good?" Lukas asked as he and Radar entered the kitchen and saw me leaning against the counter with a flustered face and slightly dragging my legs behind me.

"Do you need to get some rest?" Radar asked nervously as he put down a chest he carried in.

"No no, I'm good, I just need to... stretch my legs a little bit." I tried to walk past them, but of course, being my graceful self, my legs buckled and I fell flat on my face.

"Uh huh, come on, you're going back to bed." Lukas told me as he put my arm over his shoulder and started to help me shuffle back to the room since my legs felt like blocks of iron.

"Radar, could you go and get some healing potions from Ivor's, he should've left them in a chest somewhere near his house?" Lukas asked Radar as he walked me to my room and helped me get into my bed.

"S-sure thing, I'll be back lickety split!" Radar exclaimed before running out so fast a cloud of dust rose from the floor.

"Alright, Radar will get the healing potion, meanwhile I'll do what I can to help keep this fever down." Lukas said as he felt my forehead and went to get an ice pack. (Not a Minecraft thing, but just go with it '\_('-')_/' *shrug)

Short Time Skip

"Where are the others?" I asked weakly as Lukas came back with the ice pack and placed it on my forehead.

"Axel went to Boomtown to challenge Magnus for fun, Olivia went to Redstonia to apply for an internship, and Petra went to go gather some ores in the mineshaft for Beacontown."

"Ohh... well thanks for staying back for a bit..." I said and Lukas nodded in response while smiling as Radar came running in with a few potion bottles clinking together in his arms.

"I-I didn't know which one was the one you needed so I just grabbed all of these from the hidden chest." Radar stammered before arranging the bottles into a line at the foot of my bed.

"Thanks buddy, but the healing potion should be this one." Lukas picked the dark pink potion bottle and gave it to me to drink.

"Right-o right, I'll be sure to make a note of that and I'll get to completing these tasks for the day." Radar said as he jotted something down in his notebook and started to leave.

"Wait! Are you sure I can't help with anything?" I asked before collapsing back onto the bed, from trying to get up, in a coughing fit.

"Oh no you don't, I'll help Radar with the chores for the day, you need to get some rest, or you're never going to get better." Lukas told me as he picked up the rest of the potion bottles and he and Radar started to leave.

"Relax, we've got this, you just get some resy and we'll take care of it." Lukas smiled before closing the door behind him.

Thank you friend... I gratefully thought before closing my eyes and going to sleep.
