Adrienne (Addie)

Appearance- Tall, long choppy brown hair, brown eyes, light brown skin, a highlight of red hair, and scars on her right arm.

Attire-
(Regular) Purple glasses, navy blue t-shirt, shorts, and Frost Walker II, Feather Falling IV, and Unbreaking III enchanted gray leather hiking boots.
(Elytra Form) Purple glasses, but with steampunk/aviator black goggles that fit over them, a blue jacket over a purple shirt, blue shorts over black leggings, and the same boots.

Personality- Smart, nice, stubborn, clumsy sometimes, extremely aggressive when angered, and very reclusive

Weapons- Enchanted bow with regular/tipped arrows and powers

Backstories-

Origin- One day after falling from a dead tree into a river trying to get a drawing back from the wind, Adrienne, nicknamed Addie, returned to find her home burned down, her adopted parents dead, and her younger, adopted, brother and sister, Felix and Andie, unconscious under rubble, severely injured, whom she leaves with another family to be safe and then leaves town herself to escape from the accusations that she started the fire. On her travels, Addie always carried around books to read and write in whenever she got bored and, after finding the Darkness bracelet in a temple, occasionally shadow traveled to see how her brother and sister, and their children, were doing in their new homes.

However, a few decades after being "chosen" by the Darkness bracelet, Addie comes upon another temple that depicts how she is the descendant of a power hungry tyrant who cursed himself and his descendants while meddling with dark magic, in the form of the bracelet, trying to make himself immortal and more powerful to rule his kingdom for eternity. However, the bracelet was taken away, his kingdom destroyed, and he was cursed to an island that was disguised so that no one would venture on it and release him. It was foretold that whoever found the bracelet would suffer the same fate unless someone good was willing to help them to leave the island, freeing them, and forever destroying the dark tyrant' spirit. Soon after, Addie was teleported and cursed to the same island the evil spirit is on and built a home for herself there since she thought it was unlikely that someone would free her after finding out who she is related to.

Hair highlight- One day while experimenting with potions on the island, Addie knocked some over when one was mixed with another potion that was spilled, exploded in her face, and stained a strand of her hair. Afterwards, she got frustrated and the potion adapted to her mood and began to change the color of her hair strand, depending on her emotions.

Darkness Powers- On one of her explorations, she came across an ancient temple where she found a powerful bracelet that attached itself to her and gave her powers of darkness including: Invisibility, Night Vision, Immortality, Shadow Travel, Telekinesis, and Shadow Shield. She also obtains a pair of black Elytra wings that are enchanted to attach themselves to their, bracelet-wearing, host in order to fly and not just glide. Within the islands' borders she is limited to how far she can shadow travel and can't teleport or fly off the island due to the curse, the same applies to when she ventures to the Nether and is unable to go to the End.

Elytra Form- As a part of her powers, when Addie puts on her enchanted Elytra Wings, they attach themselves to her in order to fly around and her appearance changes as well to suit the needs of flight.

AN- I'm really hoping I did this original character thing right, otherwise I'll be super embarrassed that I still don't understand the concept. 😅 As for how my OC will relate to my stories, I'm considering making Addie a part of the Taken Over sequel when I finish the first book.

Even Later Update 4-29-18: Sorry I keep changing this, but I'm still trying to figure out how I can introduce my OC to my books and I figured out a way to introduce Addie, but to do that, and to make it more interesting, I wanted to change her background history a bit by loosely basing it off of Shakespeare's play "The Tempest" , my world in Minecraft, as well as a few of my past dreams and nightmares that I wrote down in old dream journals, I hope you like it.
