PS. I don't know if you have specific names for your horses so I'm just making some up, let me know if you do have names for them and I'll edit it to add them in later.

3rd Person POV In Beacontown

"See you guys later!" Jesse called out to Jack and Nurm as he and Radar had finished helping them clean up their emporium after the whole "Admin Jesse" situation.

"Thanks for the fix up!" Jack waved to Jesse as he went back inside with Nurm.

"Radar, do I have anything else on my agenda for the day?" Jesse asked Radar as he flipped through a book and crossed out several things that had already been accomplished for the day.

"Well..."

"Hey Jesse!" A voice shook Radar and he fumbled with his notebook before it dropped to the ground.

Aspen, wearing her regular flannel shirt with jeans and riding boots, came running up to them, brown hair flying behind her as she ran, stopped in front of them and picked up Radar's notebook for him.

"Sorry about that Radar." She handed it back after dusting it off.

"It's not a problem, I really should be less jumpy to loud noises considering how I faced a Giant Enderman." Radar admitted as he pushed his glasses in place, still held together by a small piece of white tape from the Sunshine Institute.

"Hey Aspen, where's the fire?" Jesse joked noting how she almost crashed into them running.

"I was running here to ask you if you have some time to help me over at my horse ranch."

"Radar?" Jesse looked over to his Co-Hero-In-Residence.

"You've got nothing else to do today, go on ahead Boss, I-I mean Jesse, I'll be waiting back at the Hall." He left looking down at another book of things for him to do.

"Looks like I'm free." Jesse smiled and Aspen smirked at him before tapping his shoulder and saying,

"Race ya there!" She taunted before tearing off in the direction of her ranch home.

"Hey!" Jesse stumbled and ran after her.

Running Time Skip

"I won!" Aspen threw her arms up in victory.

"Let's just call it close." Jesse panted as he leaned on a fence post, "What'd you need help with?"

"I need some help with the foals." She said as she led Jesse up to a pen containing 5 baby horses galloping around in their roomy enclosure.

"Awww they're so cute!" Jesse practically squeaked before he held out his hand to a bay foal that came prancing up to him and stroked its mane.

"I'm trying to teach them to go through an obstacle course so that they'll be ready for people to take them adventuring." Aspen said as she grabbed several leads from a chest by the pen entrance and a rucksack to take with them.

"So we going to lead them through the course?"

"No, we're taking them to the meadow close to Beacontown. I've set up a natural obstacle course out there and from there we're riding them." Aspen said as she also pulled out 5 saddles and crammed them all into the rucksack.

"Alright you lead those two and I'll lead the last three." Aspen handed two leads to Jesse and he roped the two horses Aspen pointed to.

"Race ya there!" Jesse taunted back and tried to take off running, but was stopped and dropped to the ground when one of the foals didn't budge.

"Nice try! Chestnut's a stubborn one!" Aspen laughed as she ran ahead with her three foals as Jesse stayed behind tugging on the lead.

Race Time Skip

"Ok, you definitely won that round." Jesse admitted as they got the the obstacle course: which consisted of a wooden plank beam across a small pool of water, wood hurdles with mob heads under them, and a leap across a bigger pool of water.

"So were going to ride the horses through?" Jesse asked skeptically.

"Yep, we have to establish a connection with people when doing these exercises to prepare them for adventuring." Aspen pulled out all the saddles and started putting them on all the foals

"Then let's get started!" Jesse said and hopped on a blue roan foal and led it through the obstacle course. When it got to the balance beam over the water pit, Jesse pulled the reins too hard and foal bucked him off and he landed in the water with a 'Splash!' before coming up, drenched.

"I may have forgotten to tell you that Periwinkle is a little skittish so she's sensitive to how hard you tug on the reins." Aspen nervously smiled.

"Now you tell me..." Jesse came out and came over to her before shaking his headful of water out on her.

"Hey!"

"Alright your turn."

"C'mon Sandy, let's show him how it's done." Aspen climbed onto a Palomino foal and started to lead it through.

When she reached the hurdles and started to  go over one, some bats flew out from under the balance beam where they had been hiding from the daylight and swarmed past Aspen's head trying to find another hiding place.

As that happened, Periwinkle bucked to the side and got her back legs got on the fences and Aspen was thrown off her back, hitting the next hurdle, head-on, and landing on the ground.

"Aspen!" Jesse ran over to her side and propped her up to where she was leaning on Jesse's lap as he held her up.

"C'mon Aspen, wake up!" He tried to shake her awake, but her head just lolled against his shoulder.

"Ok, I hate to do this, but..." Jesse took her over to the pool, dipped his hand, and sprayed her face with the cold water. After a few cold sprays to the face, Aspen's eyes burst open and she sneezed out some water that went into her nose before coughing a few times.

"What happened?"

"Periwinkle threw you off and you hit your head pretty hard." Jesse said as he helped her to her feet.

"That was cold..."

"What? The water or the fact you got thrown off a horse?" Jesse smirked a bit before he got splashed with a bucket that Apsen carried with her and was about to refill it when Jesse tackled her into the water.

"You're horrible." Aspen laughed before she splashed his face and Jesse laughed,

"I guess that makes two of us." They continued their water war until sunset and they headed back to Aspen's ranch
