(Chara's POV. Jesse.)

"You're doing wonderful, Jessica."

"No..... I've killed Harper. Olivia. Axel. Ivor. Petra.... Lukas.."

"How is it my problem that boy remembers so much?? Come on, you're being too hard on yourself."

"The thing is.... I don't know how I'm doing it. One minute I'll be perfectly fine.... the next, I'll be standing near one of my friends' lifeless body."

"Well I'm sure you can think of someone who's causing this. You can do it. You're strong."

"I DONT WANT TO BE KILLING MY FRIENDS!"

"Chara, you idiot."

(Lukas's POV)

It's like everything keeps resetting.

No... not like it's a coincidence...

Jesse IS resetting the world.

She's killed all of her friends at least once, either directly or indirectly.

I used to have a warm regard for Jesse...

I don't quite hate her... but I despise her for what she's doing...

The others don't seem to know that we're reliving this over and over again, rather, they just seem quite unfazed.

I'm starting to think that Jesse and I are the only ones who know about the resetting.

I keep seeing her pull out a three-dimensional box when someone dies, press it, and then everything turns new.

None of this made sense to me, and my head is always hurting for some reason.

"Lukas?" Asked Jesse. "C-can I.... talk to you.. for a second?"

I didn't respond.

"Lukas, please." She whimpered. "I have something to explain to you."

"Then tell me here." I growled.

"But--"

"I said- tell me here. The others won't remember anything, anyway."

Silence.

I felt everyone staring at Jesse, and I was glad this was making her uncomfortable.

"I... I have this.. special power..." started Jesse, her voice shaking. "And.... it... gives me the ability to.. alter time."

Nobody said anything, listening to what Jesse was saying.

(Frisks POV)

Chara had me locked up.

I couldn't say or do anything to stop Jesse from obeying her, and all I could do was listen.

"W-well.... if something goes wrong.... I can just... reset the timeline. Do it all over again.... make sure what happened... didn't happen."

"Yeah?? Well what if someone remembers what happened?" Snapped the blond.

"I-uhh...." Jesse paused, not knowing what to say.

"I... I... don't mean to hurt any of you..."

"Sure you don't."

"I REALLY DONT! SOMETHING KEEPS HAPPENING TO ME, AND I CANT CONTROL MYSELF!"

"I..... I just want... to stop this... this endless loop... where all of my worst nightmares are coming true..."

(Chara's POV)

How dare that little girl believe that she can actually get away with leaving this behind??

I've already had one person overcome my hold on them.

I don't want another one to leave.

(Jesse's POV)
