Magnugaard: What?
Magnus the Rouge leaned against the wall, tossing gunpowder in the air and then catching it, his eyes narrowed. He wore green armor, along with a thin mask that had holes for his eyes. He scoffed at the sight.
He watched from a distance as two people sat at a table. A man, with a ginger beard and gray armor. And a girl, with reddish armor and googles above her head. The man, Soren the Architect, spoke something to the girl, Ellegaard the engineer, who giggled.
Oh God, she was cute when she laughed. Magnus shook his head as he watched them both laugh. He tried not to let that bother him. Anyway, it was just Soren, right? She wouldn't have feelings for Soren...
He bit his lip, lost in thoughts.
"Hello friend," a voice said, making Magnus jump in surprise. The gunpowder fell to the floor.
A dark-skinned man with dark and light blue armor appeared, smiling and smirking at the same time.
"Oh notch, don't do that Gabriel! Do you want me to blow up the house!?" Magnus, replied, waving his hands in the air, annoyed.
The warrior chuckled, picking up the gunpowder and handing it back to Magnus.
"Believe me, Magnus," he said, patting him on the shoulder. "I do not want you to do that."
He sighed, calm now, and turned his attention back to the two people at the table that was filled with books, redstone, and other mechanics.
"What are you doing here anyway? Shouldn't you be making something explode, or something like that?" Gabriel asked, as the other man shook his head.
"Nah, I'm just-I'm just waiting..." his voice trailed off.
"For Ellegaard I presume?" The warrior asked. Magnus hesitated for a moment, and then sighed.
"Yeah, for Ellie."
Gabriel looked at Magnus, and then at the two at the table. The engineer was showing the architect how to use a repeater and a piston together.
He smiled slightly.
"You could tell her, you know."
Magnus' eyes widened.
"What?! Gabriel I can't do that! What if-what if she-?" His voice grew down into a whisper as he panicked. Sweat was already trickling down his neck.
"Calm down Magnus," he said reassuringly. "And don't worry about Soren. I don't think they're into each other that way."
The Rouge was surprised at his words, and his heart beat slowed to its normal pace.
"You-you really think she-?"
"Yes, Magnus. Just tell her the truth." Gabriel gestured, just as someone popped up behind them.
"Talking about Magnus' love life?" A voice said slyly.
The both of them jumped to see a man with black hair and beady eyes, along with a swamp-green robe.
"Will you STOP sneaking up behind me?!" Magnus whispered loudly, as Gabriel nodded.
The man, Ivor had a huge smirk on his face.
"Well, in my opinion, I agree with Gabriel." He said, taking out a book, as the others gave him surprised looks. "And besides, they probably already know."
Magnus looked like he was going to explode.
"What?!"
"Come in, its obvious. The way you look at her, the way you always wait for her when she's with Soren-"
"Okay, okay! Now shhh!"
Gabriel laughed as Ivor smiled. Magnus felt his cheeks flush.
"Okay fine! I'll tell her, but if it goes wrong-"
He gave a death glare. Gabriel held up his hands in surrender. Ivor just rolled his eyes.
Magnus took a deep breath and walked toward the table, his heart beating faster. Soren had his hand on his chin while Ellie was explaining.
"And this is how you-oh, hello Magnus." Ellegaard smiled cheerfully at the Rouge, who tried hard not to blush. "Need anything? I was just explaining to Soren about this piston."
"Um, actually-" he turned to look behind him, seeing Gabriel give him a thumbs up. He took a deep breath and exhaled. "I need to talk to you Ellie, uh, in private."
She raised her eyebrow, curious.
"Alright, sure. Soren, do you mind?" Ellegaard asked kindly as he nodded.
"Not at all," he replied, and went to go talk to Gabriel and Ivor.
Magnus watched as the architect began to chat with Gabriel, Ivor rolling his eyes and pulling out a book and a quill.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Ellie asked, making Magnus' senses snap back to focus.
"Oh! Um..." he scratched his head nervously. What was he worried about? That she would reject him? No, she wouldn't do that. Would she?
She gave him a confused look, and then smiled.
"I haven't seen you this nervous since Gabriel found out you've been stealing all of his cookies," she laughed, and then took his hand. "Anyway, you can talk to me Magnus."
He blushed even harder.
"Well, Ellie..." he sighed. "I'm going to tell you this straight. I like you. Like really like you."
Her eyes widened.
"I mean, if you're with Soren I understand but-"
"Hey, hey slow down." She said, smirking. "First of all, I like you too doofus."
Magnus smiled as Ellie gave him a kiss on the cheek. He was stunned speechless, but also relieved and happy.
"And second, Soren and I aren't like that."
"Ellie I-"
"You were jealous? That's cute."
Magnus raised his eyebrow as she laughed. Still, he was happy that she felt the same way.
"So, anyway, want to go get coffee or something later?"
"You hate coffee."
"You don't."
Ellegaard laughed again as Magnus grinned.
"Sure, Magnus." The engineer said kindly.
"I couldn't help but overhear," Soren said, walking up to them. The two turned in surprise. "But did you think that me and Ellegaard were together?"
Magnus hesitated, and then nodded sheepishly. Soren laughed.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm more into Endermen."
"What?" They said at the same time as he blushed.
"What? Nothing. I mean nothing. You heard nothing. Nothing!" He said loudly and ran off.
The couple gave each other a strange look as Gabriel and Ivor walked over to them.
"Strange," Ellegaard said softly, smiling.
"Not as strange as your guys' relationship," Ivor retorted, earning a glare from Gabriel and a sharp elbow nudge from Magnus. Ellegaard gave him the stink eye. "I'm just being honest."
"Hey, there'll be a day where you fall in love and we'll be teasing you about it-oh wait. You don't do love." Magnus smirked as Ivor growled. Everyone laughed.
"Anyway, we should get going, right Magnus?" Ellegaard poked Magnus with her elbow.
"Oh, um, yes. See you later guys."
The two waved goodbye and left.

*At the cafe*
Magnus opened the door for Ellie, both of them holding a drink in their hands.
"Thanks for the drink Magnus," Ellegaard said cheerfully, taking a sip of her drink.
"No problem Ell-" he started, suddenly interrupted by Ellegaard's eyes widening and spitting out her drink.
"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly, as she pointed to a table with two people sitting down.
"Soren?!" Magnus cried, Ellie speechless.
The architect blushed as the Endermen across from him screeched.
