Childhood Friends

Lukas X Fem! Jesse

Jesse's POV:

I was alone...

All of my friends moved away...

But there was one boy who stayed...

Lukas...

He was holding me in his arms. "It's ok Jesse," He said, "no matter what, I'll stay here for

you." I started crying. "Why did they all move?!" I yelled, wiping my eyes, "Why couldn't

they have stayed?!" He started to pet my hair. "They had no choice, Jesse," He whispered

in my ear. I looked up into his blue eyes. "Promise me you'll never leave," I whispered

back to him. He was looking into my eyes now. "I promise," He replied, still stroking my

hair. I gave him a small smile. "Thanks," I told him before falling asleep in his arms.

The next day, I woke up. Lukas was gone, and had left me a note.

Went home to get ready for school tomorrow. -Lukas

I sighed. School, I thought, Why school? I dreaded going to school after everyone moved

away. I reluctantly got dressed and headed to the bus stop. "Well well well, what do we

have here?" A male asked. I sighed. "What do you want, Aiden?" I asked him, scowling.

"Woah! Feisty! I like feisty girls," He told me. I sighed. Aiden has had a crush on me since

the second grade, but I never liked him back. "Aiden, please stop," I muttered, looking

away. He walked up to me and lifted my chin up. "What's wrong, precious?" He asked me.

I looked away. "Nothing," I muttered, feeling tears in my eyes. Aiden turned my head

towards him. "That doesn't seem like nothing to me," He whispered. "Leave me alone!" I

shouted, backing away from him. He started coming closer. "Why would I leave someone

like you, alone?" He asked. I kept backing away, until I hit a wall. All I wanted was to be

alone right now, but obviously he didn't care, and decided to come closer. "Go away!" I

yelled at him. Just then, Lukas came up to the bus stop and stared at me.

Lukas's POV:

I finished getting ready for school this morning, and headed down to the bus stop, only

to find Jesse, with her back against the wall, and Aiden approaching her. I looked her in

the eyes, and put a finger towards my mouth, telling her not to say anything. She gave me

a small nod and looked at Aiden. "Just tell me what's wrong, sweetheart!" Aiden said to

her. She mumbled something, and turned away. I walked up to Aiden and pushed him

away from Jesse. "What the heck man?!" He yelled at me, his eyes full of rage. "Your

scaring her, can't you see that?" I calmly replied walking towards Jesse. She looked at me.

"Thanks," She whispered. "No problem," I whispered back. Aiden took this opportunity to

grab her, and pull her away. "LET GO OF ME!" She screamed, trying to break free. I lunged
at Aiden, but he pushed me away. "Stay away from my girl!" He growled. "She's not yours!

Can't you see that she doesn't like you?!" I shouted. "She does like me, and I'll prove it!" He

yelled at me. He grabbed Jesse and pulled her into a kiss.

Jesse's POV:

Aiden grabbed me, and started kissing me. I tried to pull away, but he was holding my

body in place. "Stop!" I managed to say. Lukas went up behind Aiden and pulled him

away. "Just leave her alone!" Lukas shouted at him. Aiden started yelling some unpleasant

words, and stopped when he saw the bus pull up. He casually got on, and pretended like

nothing happened. I sat down in a seat, and Lukas sat next to me. "I'm sorry," He

whispered, giving me a hug. I hugged him back and started crying the tears that I've been

holding in all morning. I saw Aiden glare daggers at Lukas, but I didn't care. It felt good to

have a friend still with me.

The Present Day:

Lukas's POV:

I heard Aiden, Gil, and Maya making fun of a group that was coming up behind us. I

turned around and saw that it was Jesse and her friends. My eyes widened, and I quickly

looked away. "Come on guys, let's go," I said, not wanting them to make fun of her

anymore. We got to Booth 4, and got our stuff prepared. "We're the, uh, Dead Enders," I

heard her say, before heading into Booth 5. I heard everyone snickering, and I looked

over and saw that one of her teammates was having trouble getting through the gate.

"Well well, if it isn't The Order of the Losers!" Gil told them. "Haha, good one Gil!" Maya

responded. "You're being unpleasant," the big guy on Jesse's team told them. "Well, maybe

not all of you... Endercon doesn't allow outside food or drink!" Aiden said (I honestly

forget what he says, I'm typing this from memory). "Shut up!" Jesse shot back at him.

"What did you say?" Aiden asked full of shock. "She said shut up, do you need to hear it

again?" A girl with pigtails told him. "Come on guys! We've got work to do!" I called to

them, trying to stop them from making fun of them. "Your lucky I'm busy!" Aiden said to

them, and walked over here. Time flew by fast because before I knew it, it was time to

build. About halfway through the building, Aiden yelled something to Jesse. "Oh no! A

fireworks dispenser! I'm so scared!" He laughed. "You worry about your build and we'll

worry about ours!" She told him, continuing to build. A few minutes later, they were done

with their build. "Cool build man!" A guy shouted up at them. I smiled. It really did look

good. "It's just a bunch of dyed wool!" I heard Aiden shout, punching a block holding in

lava, setting Jesse's pig on fire. I rolled my eyes and yelled at him. "Look what you did!"

I yelled, giving him a shove. Jesse jumped off of her build and ran into the woods to

search for her pig, her two friends staying behind to save the build. I looked at Aiden, and

scowled, sprinting off into the woods.

Jesse's POV:

I hated Aiden, that Jerk! I ran into the woods to go search for Reuben. Eventually, I found

him huddled in a bush. "I'm so happy to see you!" I said, hugging him. Before I set him

down, an arrow shot through the air, and hit me in the shoulder. I grabbed my arm in

pain, and continued to run. When I thought that we lost the skeletons, I stopped, only to

find a giant group of zombies coming towards us. I killed the first few with my wooden

sword, but it broke. I gasped, and backed towards the wall. "I know things are pretty bad,

but I need you to make a run for it, I'll distract them!" I told Reuben, watching him run

away. I couldn't stand the thought of it if he got hurt. I stumbled and fell down, backing

even further towards the wall. I closed my eyes, and buried my head in my knees, hoping

that my death wouldn't be painful. I heard a whoosh of arrows flying through the sky and

I looked up. All of the zombies were gone, and they were replaced by Lukas. "Lukas!" I

screamed, running up and hugging him. "What happened to your arm?" Lukas asked full

of concern. "I kinda got shot by a skeleton," I told him. He grabbed a vial from his pocket

and unscrewed the top of it. "Here," He said, taking out the arrow, and pouring the liquid

on top of the wound. "Potion of healing... thanks!" I told him, giving him another hug.

"Hey Jesse, there's uh, something I've wanted to ask you for a while now," He told me.

I looked at him, "yeah?" He sighed. "I was wondering if maybe you'd like to be my

girlfriend?" He asked me. I squealed in excitement. "Yes!" I screamed. He picked me up

and kissed me. "I love you," I told him. "I love you too," He replied. We walked out of the

woods together, hand in hand.
