Creepy's my type. (Travcinda)
I know the title is a quote, but I love that quote, and wanted to use it, since it was said in My Street, and that's where this story takes place. Travis and Lucinda have been dating for about three months, and Travis is soon moving in with Lucinda. Enjoy!
Lucinda's P.O.V.
Having Travis living here is going to be a blast! His flirty/creepy personality will fit just perfectly. I am a witch after all, so I love anything creepy. I just have to make sure Travis stays out of my potion room. He could get seriously hurt in there, and that's the last thing I want! Really, that's the only downside I can see.
I've been preparing for days, but really, Travis isn't bringing much with him. He's leaving his bed and furniture at Laurence, Garroth, and Dante's house, so his pool table is really the only big thing coming here. I could always shrink it to store it away when no one's using it. To top it all off, a good 90% of everything I own, is in my potion room. This should be easy!
Travis' P.O.V.
I can't wait to move in with Lucinda. She really seems to appreciate my personality, unlike Katelyn. She always wanted me to "clean up my act" as she put it. That's the main reason I picked Lucinda over Katelyn. Sure, both girls are amazing, but Lucinda actually excepts me for who I am.
Only about two days left to wait. My anticipation seems to grow every day. I've always wondered what it was like to be a witch. I don't know why, but I have. At least now I get to find out!
~Time Skip to the day of the move~
"Okay Lucinda, that's everything," I say as she shrinks the pool table. I only have two boxes of stuff, so the move was quick. She put the shrunken pool table in a bag, and we left. As we walked down the street to Lucinda's place, she told me about this potion room of hers.
"It's very dangerous, and I don't want you in there, understood?" Lucinda said with authority.
"Okay Lucinda. I'll stay away from the potion room," I replied with a nod. The rest of the way we talked about where we were going to put everything. Lucinda suggested we keep the pool table shrunk when it's not in use, and I can't say I disliked the idea. It would keep it out of the way, and allow me to keep it! Living with a witch is going to be awsome! Out of all the witches in the world though, I'm glad it's Lucinda.
Lucinda's P.O.V.
It's been three weeks since Travis moved in, and he's actually stayed out of my potion room. I guess the dangerous potions aren't the only reason I don't want him in there. I have a few other things in there I don't want him getting into either. For example, I have some personal belongings from when I was young. They would make no sense to Travis, or anyone for that matter, and some of them are a bit...embarrassing.
I've been working on a new kind of potion lately. It's not for me, but for a younger witch named Hailey. It basically makes her powers a bit more controllable. I've heard she's been having trouble with her staff, so I'm trying to conjure up a potion to allow her to use it better. It really isn't her fault though. She's using a staff that's used for witchcraft all the time, so it's used to high concentrations of power. This can make learning quite difficult for an apprentice.
I'm nearly finished, so I decide to go see what Travis is up to. Only one problem with that. I can't find Travis.
Travis' P.O.V.
Sorry Lucinda, but this has to be done. I can't stand the anticipation anymore! The three weeks of wondering what was behind that door, is finally paying off. I slipped into the potion room, and at first just saw a cauldron, along with other potion stuff. Then I noticed a box off to the left. Had a sign on it that read;
Lucinda's stuff. Do not touch.
I didn't even want to know what was in that box. It was most likely personal, and I'm not the kind of guy to go digging through someone else's stuff. I just kept looking around. Nothing out of the ordinary for a witch. I was about to turn and leave, when a large peice of paper caught my eye. It had plans on it. Plans for the perfect night...for me.
"I thought I told you not to come in here," said Lucinda from behind.
I turned around to see Lucinda with an amused expression. "Heeeeey Lucinda," I replied.
"You ruined the surprise."
"Yeah, sorry about that..."
"Oh well. You still didn't know about this."
"Know about what?"
"This." Lucinda held up potion, and instructed me to drink it. I obeyed, and honestly was shocked to see what it had done. I was now in a suit and tie. Felt strange.
Lucinda downed a potion herself, and her usual clothes turned into a stunning black dress. "Now come one Travis, we're going out," She said with a smile.
"Where to?" I asked, already knowing the awnser.
"You'll see," she said as she pulled me out the door. The night went just like Lucinda had planned, and it truly was perfect. Why? Because I had Lucinda to share it with.
Sorry for not putting much detail but I had a test to study for, and couldn't write much. Hope you guys have liked this so far. As for the question of the day, Travlyn, or Travcinda?
