My tail swishes as I walk. My mask has stayed on. My ragged black cloak is being pushed backwards in the wind. Chad keeps in asking me questions to the point I magick his mouth shut. Aphmau and Laurance laugh. But that just makes him even more curious. I growl in annoyance. We get to the edge of the forest and finally see homes.

"Welcome to the Phoenix Drop Alliance Base."

I look around. People walk around the base square. A giant ship to my left. My wings rustle again. I need to get some air before they pop out. I look at Aphmau. She's giggling.

"What?"

"Chad. Is. Going. Crazy."

I look at the old man. He's running around in excitement. I magick his mouth open. He starts babbling to Aphmau. I snicker. Laurance laughs.

"Aphmau, Is there a place where I can just be alone for a while?"

"Yeah, Blaze. Laurance, can you show her? I'm a little, uh, busy here."

She laughs. I start walking and Laurance walks next to me.

"So, Blaze, how old are you?"

"Around 21. Why?"

"No reason."

"Sure."

He laughs.

"So here's a quiet place."

"Thanks."

"Hey, is it okay if I just chill here?"

"No."

"Aw. Come on."

"Laurance. I'm doing this because I don't want you to tell the others."

"Hey. Come on. I have a secret that only a few people know about. You can trust me."

"Pfft. I just met you."

"Still."

"Fine. But if you tell anyone, I'll kick you where the light don't shine."

His eyes widen, but he laughs. I slowly take off my cloak. My tail swishes. I'm facing him. He doesn't see my wings yet. He smirks at me. My wings spread out. His mouth drops open.

"Again. You know the deal."

He nods slowly. I hold my spear against my arm. I spin it and throw it in the air. I shoot into the air. I spin and watch the spear fall to the ground. I shoot down and see Laurance staring at me. I shoot down faster and land on my feet. The dirt pushed up. The spear comes shooting down. Tip first. I stand there. Laurance looks at me like I'm crazy. In a flash, I put a shield right in front of my mask. My wing stay spread out. I magick the spear to have the but facing me. The tip facing the heavens. I erase the magic field and quickly grab the spear. All of a sudden Laurance is standing and has his sword out. I face him, wings out. I spin the spear and go into my fighting stance. He tries to attack my left. I spin to the right. I kick his side. He stays standing. I attack twice, and he tries to get me back. But I'm too fast. I end up having him in the ground.

"Nice job, Blaze."

"Thanks."
