:14: I v y

A/N - I think I'm gonna have more recent updates, now, but I'm not completely sure. I'm still running four ongoing stories, but I'm currently full of inspiration, so I'll use as much of it as I can before it goes to waste.

"Garroth the Grand Blade," I said to him, "You gonna show me what you can do?"

He chuckled, brandishing his bright diamond sword. "Of course."

[A p h m a u]
It seemed like merely an hour, the battle.

It a moment, swords were clashing against each other and Zenix jumped back, bringing out a bow.

Garroth was mad. He was determined to beat Zenix and going range was a bad decision on Zenix's part. Garroth worked melee weapons, everyone knew it.

Meanwhile, I dealt with Ivy.

"What'cha so focused on?" she crooned maliciously. "Battle's over here."

I growled and pushed my sword up against hers.

"You," she cackled, "you actually believe you're Irene?"

"Well, yeah!" I shouted over the commotion of swords and arrows.

We went into something like a fencing mode, courteously bashing our blades against each other like it was taboo for someone to get hurt.

"It appears the student has become the master!" said Zenix, a dagger raised as he pinned Garroth down.

"And it also appears," said Garroth, kicking him in the gut, "that you're dead wrong!"

And Garroth, merciful as he was, simply knocked his ex-pupil unconscious with the flat of his blade.

Things weren't so merciful at my end.

The fight had become straight up brutal. While I looked over to the boys absentmindedly, Ivy'd landed a hit, harshly cutting my cheek.

She narrowly missed my hip when I looked back.

"Pay attention, Miss Prissy Princess," she said, "or you'll get hit!"

She knocked me to the ground with a high kick on the jaw. [Yep. Completely possible.]

Garroth rushed over (like the faithful husband he was) and took my place while I spit blood.

Before we both knew it, the two of them had disappeared into the shadows in some secluded part of the woods.

What just happened?

[Third Person's PoV]

(I literally just rated the story mature for this moment.)

The woman flicked her flaming pink hair behind her shoulders and sent a hard glare towards the man.

"You're an incompetent little ass, you know that?" she hissed.

"It's not my fault you made me go as that weakling," he spat back before adding, "bitch."

"If anyone's a bitch, it's you." Ivy hesitated for a moment. "You played the part well, but you used your damn bow and arrows!"

"I can't help it," he said, gritting his teeth. "the blond would've overpowered me."

The two were now face to face, noses almost touching.

"Transform back, I can't stand you in this form."

The man chuckled darkly. "Glad to know you prefer me over Zenix."

Ivy smirked back with her painted red lips. She was breathing heavily.

The man attacked her with a deep kiss, pushing her up against a (poor, innocent) tree.

"God, I hate you."

The man let out another hearty chuckle and left a trail of kisses on her jaw.

"Simply, I cannot handle myself when you look so... desirable."

Ivy moaned a bit. "You're gonna drive me crazy with that accent."

"Do I sound alluring to you?"

(*fans self* whew, it's getting hot in here...)

"Disgusting." said another female voice.

At this, Ivy let out a demented laugh. "No need to get jealous."

"Tch." the woman rolled her deep violet eyes. "Are you lovebirds done here? Because we need to get going if we're gonna find the two."

"What, the Ro'Meave's?" asked Ivy.

"Idiot," said the man, making Ivy flinch under his cold glare. "The Melody's. To be more precise, the boy."

"He harbors the Zvhal relic."

"R-right," said Ivy, doing her best to cover the stutter.

"Can we go now?" asked the woman snappishly. "I've things to get done."

"So bossy, El-"

"Don't. That isn't my name anymore."

"Right, right," the man smirked, "Ella."

He chuckled breathily after getting a hard punch to the rib.

The two started walking ahead, Ivy following behind silently, as if she were a slave to the two.

And in a way, she was.

In a flash, the two had disappeared, leaving Ivy alone.

"Honestly," whispered Ivy. "They could've done a better job trying to lure me into their little trap."

The red(?)head scoffed and sat down on a stray log that'd fallen. "For now I guess I'll just have to play along."

Ivy continued speaking to herself. "And that pathetic excuse of a man is doing a terrible job of-"

She was cut off by her own sharp intake of breath. Lord knows she was too stubborn to admit that she was too weak to fight back and had no plan whatsoever.

But she did as she was told, for the fear that everyone else had.

The inevitable fear that your heart held whilst dealing with people such as these.

The fear of death.

Harsh, bloody, brutal homicide by large broadswords slicing through your body like butter.

Ivy, too, had this technique. But it was two against one, so... what could she do?

...nothing. Thought Ivy.

"That's right..." she clenched her fists, blinking back tears. "I can't do anything against them."

A/N - It's really short, but I couldn't really come up with anything. I have OC's to play around with now, so yeah.

Props to-

Oh no.

Oh, no no no no no...

SORRY, WHO COMMENTED "ELLA MONEV"?

I deleted the damn part and now I can't find your username, I'm really sorry.

I STUPID.

but, yes, the character's name was Ella Monev, a comment so well written that I was tempted to choose both.

I went with the female since she has the same initials as I do XD

As for the male... that'll be revealed later on.
