A/N - You guys ready for an emotional rollercoast- ...

OKAY, I'M SORRY. I HAVEN'T WRITTEN HERE IN YEARS.
1) I'm not gonna give an excuse, I'm just a terrible author.
2) Due to recent changes in the plot of MCD, I'm going to skip some time, keep my OC in there, and make it so that a few things are different. For the sake of things, we'll pretend that Lilith isn't in there since I have things planned.
3) This will be formatted the way I want it to be, since my new books that have yet to be published are formatted this way and I've been writing in them for a while.

[Garroth's PoV]

Everything was fine... more or less. Aaron was long gone, and Will had returned from the Irene Dimension. I'd reunited with Vylad, and Aphmau, along with Anya...

Well, at least Zane was now 100% gone.

Aphmau had been with Anya for the past two weeks, helping her through the loss.

Why?

It's been months now. Anya and Aaron's relationship had bloomed over the course of that time, and they had become lovers. It was sweet really, and they'd all made friends with the little group of girls that helped each other every so often.

What I didn't know was what happened whilst Aphmau and the girls comforted Anya.

[Aphmau's PoV]

I had been letting Anya stay at Garroth and my house for a while now, as her house was under construction back at the new Phoenix Drop.

Oh dear Irene. I realize something.

"Anya, do you know who Will is?"

She had been sniffling and muffling her sobs for the last day. Nonetheless, she shook her head.

"I... think you'd like to meet him one day."

She sniffed once, and there was a silence.

"How about now?"

I was surprised at how weak and ragged her voice was.

I nodded slowly and backed away, turning to open the door.

[Anya's PoV]

Aphmau sneaked out the door. I felt bad now, since she was such a nice person... but I did it anyway.

I grabbed Aaron's old sword leaning on the wall, and smashed open the window behind it. I ran.

And I ran.

And I ran some more. Right out the Phoenix Drop gates where the wild growth of the forest lay.

I was dragging the dark, purple-obsidian sword the whole way.

I had nothing else to take my anger out on.

I breathed heavily, my eyes watering as I swung the sword as hard as I could. The loud, CRACK! of a tree could be heard. I swung it again, harder and harder as I felt my hands start to blister. All alone, standing in a clearing, I swung the sword, back and forth, left and right, to my heart's content.

Why I did it?

I'm still not sure.

My secret? My lost love? My grief, anger, sadness?

I let out a sob and fell to my knees, arms aching and hands red.

"Anya?"

I turned, seeing the pain-stricken pale face of Aphmau, Garroth at her side.

I sobbed louder. I hung my head and dropped the sword at my side. Soon enough, arms were around me, and smooth black hair draped over my vision.

"I really miss him..." I said after silence.

Aphmau dropped to her knees, still hugging me. "We all do."

"Aphmau, you don't understand..." I cried. "I..."

I started breathing heavily, hyperventilating even. My vision blurred and soon I felt myself falling.

[Third Person's PoV]

Whispers went on in the small village of Phoenix Drop. Murmurs, rumors about the girl in the bed. She had been in a coma for weeks, almost months... her stomach was starting to protrude.

Whilst both lord and lady of Phoenix Drop learned of her condition, things continued, as if nothing happened.

The large island of Lady Irene was acting as host for a new village for the Phoenix Alliance, the buildings and construction went on smoothly.

"I want another kid."

"What– why?"

"Because we missed the childhoods of all three of our children."

"Can't we just use protection and get on with it?"

The raven haired woman opened her mouth to complain again. The sky grew dark.

"Mom! Dad!" Fluttering black hair and electric blue eyes were seen.

"Lumina?" her father asked, worry clouding the blue eyes his daughter inherited.

She stood there, breathing heavily. Her eyes were glazed over. Drop by drop, tears flowed from her face as she dropped to the ground. Aphmau rushed over, Garroth at her tail.

They embraced their daughter tenderly, before Aphmau asked, "What happened?"

"Momma..." she started, snuggling into her mother's arms.

Her father gently patted her back.

After taking a few breaths, Lumina looked up at her father. "Dad, this is especially about you."

He stayed silent, his baby blue eyes filled to the brim with traces of mixed emotion.

"Zenix..." she said. "It was him."

Visibly shaking, Lumina swept her hair to the side to show her neck, marks of a red handprint. "He tried to choke me." Showing her scraped thigh, she added, "gave me a cut too."

Aphmau sat numbly. Garroth was shaking in anger.

"Why?" Garroth started. "Why the (insert word of choice) would he-"

"It's a cruel world, daddy." She said, arms wrapped firmly around him. "Hey, at least I'm alive, right?"

He brought her closer, putting his head on hers. "I'm so glad you got that optimism from your mother."

Smiling halfheartedly, he held out a hand to Aohmau, who gladly took it and joined the hug.

"It may be a cruel world," Lumina said, "but it won't be when I have the best parents in the world."

Also, sorry for the excessive use of my OC, I guess that can get a bit annoying, huh? As much as I don't like over using OC's, Anya is gonna be important to the plot, so...

Yeah. ;-;
