Aphmau's PoV

Lumina Elise Ro'Meave. The name of Garroth and my little angel. The light in our time of darkness, the one who illuminated our lives. She's just about six months old, now. It's been tough, with Garroth on his guard duties, but Zoey helps me. Malachi and Levin help me. Practically everyone in the village lends a hand when it comes to little Lumina...

I woke up first this time. Strange. Lumina was quiet this morning... I looked over at Garroth, sleeping peacefully with little Lu in his arms. That little munchkin (don't judge or I kill) always kept quiet in her daddy's arms. Me, on the other hand, she was either babbling nonsense, giggling, squealing, or making some kind of noise. (yes, crying sometimes)

"A kiss here," I kissed Garroth's nose, "here," Lu's forehead, "here," Lu's nose, "and here." I said, kissing Garroth's lips.

"Good morning to my queen," he yawned, and tickled Lumina. "And good morning to my princess." (See what I did there?) "You're up early." He paused. "That's rare."

*western accent* KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN. wtf... I have a problem... I don't live anywhere near Kentucky...

-Later...-

"Bye, love you!" Garroth kissed me goodbye, kissed Lu's nose, "and you, too." And went off to his guard duties.

Just a second later the doors burst open. "OH, LULU! AUNTIE DONNA'S HERE!"

Lumina giggled. I handed her over to 'auntie' Donna and sat down. Even a morning with a baby is hard. I wonder what Garroth is thinking right about now...?

Garroth's PoV

"Alright, let's make this simple and easy. Laurance, my house, Dante, gates, (we need more guards...I'll just add Nicole and pretend Dale is still.... But then Alexis and Kyle are still... MY GOSH THIS IS MAKIN MY BRAIN -PLLLLLBT-) and I'll take the first guard tower. Got it?"

Laurance's PoV

WOOO! APHMOO'S HOUSE! I stood actually on patrol for five minutes... And then peeked inside because I can.

"Aphmau!" I peeped. "LuLu!"

"Wh-" Aphmau fully opened the door. "Oh, hi Laurance!"

"Uncle Lauwance wants to see LuLu." I demanded.

"She's with Donna, so you can cut the act." Aphmau rolled her eyes. "What do you want?"

"Nothing," I lied. "I'm just on patrol here..."

"Uh huh, suuuure... You may be on patrol over here, but you want something." She flicked my nose. "Go away. Rawr!" She closed the door on me.

"Pleeeeeaaaaaase?"

"Whaaaaaat?" She mimicked my tone.

"Morning, Mom!"

"Goo' Morning Mama!"

"Levin, Malachi, is that you? Tell your mom to open the door!" I pushed the doors open.

"Nu." Aphmau closed them.

"But-"

"STAY ON PATROL, YOU IDIOT!" She playfully slapped me and closed, then locked the doors.

-Le Time Skip... (Totally not because I need inspiration)-

Garroth's PoV

"Er.." I was never really good at this kind of thing. "Honey, I'm home..?"

"Welcome home... Dear..?" I don't think Aphmau was good at it either, but we tried once in a while.

Silence.

We burst into laughter. "So," I paused. "Why don't we do this anymore?"

"I guess things have kinda been off.. It was the fights and the wars and the 'life changing' experience of having a child... A biologically related child..." She shuddered.

I chuckled. "Don't remind me,"

(Inspiration, inspire me, where fore art thou, inspiration? XD)

-Another Time Skip. (WHAT, I SAID I WAS RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS, THIS IS MY SOLUTION!)-

It's just about night now, and Lumina's gone to sleep.

"So," I started, "We... Haven't had a bed-talk in a while.."

"I'mma just say it plain and simple." Aphmau huffed. "It's boring."

I burst into laughter, then covered my mouth knowing Lu was only a few feet away from us, peacefully dozing.

"Well, it's true!" She crossed her arms. "I need some ACTION!"

"But I thought you enjoyed the peace and quiet..?"

"Yeah, but that was the first few months, now it's just plain boring!"

We sat there in silence.

Aphmau finally piped up. "Garroth, can you.. Sing for me?"

"Wh-what?" Jeez, that's an old feeling.. Nervousness.. Stuttering.. It's been a while since I felt like this.

"Please?"

"But.. I.." I hesitated, but a moment later, opened my mouth, and started to sing.

Aphmau's PoV

He starting singing.. I'd almost forgotten how beautiful his voice can be when he sings. He started softly, then his voice got the tiniest bit louder, and then I realized. It sounded exactly like the one I heard from back then.. A few days before I had Lumina... But different. The same as before, a man singing out to his lover, but this time, happy and content rather than empty and longing. That his life was complete and even if his life were to end, he'd die with a smile on his face, because his longing for happiness had been fulfilled. Before I knew it, I'd been laying on the bed, mesmerized by the song, and closed my eyes with a vague memory of little Lu smiling as her papa sang.

(Woah... *pats self on back* I DID THAT WITHOUT INSPIRATION! I WAS WINGING THAT WHOLE THING AND IT TURNED OUT FANTABULASTIC!)

My eyes were still closed, but I could feel sunlight streaming through the windows.

"It's peaceful, huh?" A soft voice said.

I opened an eye to see Garroth looking down at me. "Morning,"

"Good morning."

I yawned, "How'd you know I was awake?"

"I laced my fingers through yours, and you smiled." Garroth chuckled. "It's just that simple,"

"Is Lu awake?"

"Mmhm. Kawaii~Chan stopped by, it's her turn."

"Why didn't you wake me?"

"You looked peaceful. You don't scowl in your sleep, making you that much cuter."

I giggled. "Kawaii~Desu!" I put up a peace sign, a smile, a wink, and tilted my head for the extra Kawaii-Ness.

-A Few Hours Later... (SpongeBob announcer)-

It was early afternoon, and a few things had already happened this morning. Will came back, and joined the Phoenix Drop guard, and Lumina said her first word. (Kudos to Kawaii~Chan, Lu's first word was Garmau.. -.-) Now Garroth and I were walking along a path near the entrance to the wall, and we stopped by the clearing of cherry blossoms.

"Hey Aph, look." Garroth pointed to a tree. On it, was carved a cliche heart with an arrow through it.

'Aph + Gar'

I giggled. "Ten bucks it was Kawaii~Chan!"

"But I was gonna bet on her!" Garroth laughed.

"Well, either way, cheers to a good relationship." I smiled.

"And a good life,"

"And a good husband,"

"And a good wife." He finished. He kissed me gently on the lips, and that oh so familiar warmth spread through me. All this was true. Life was good, with me and him.. Mr. and Mrs. Ro'Meave.
