Aphmau's PoV

He's back.. He's really back... It's been so long...  It's been days, weeks, months...

Garroth's PoV
(Because I haven't done his PoV in a while)

I'm so glad I'm out, forever this time... I was in that soul chamber for what seemed like years, I guess time works differently in there.

"Aphmau?"

"Hm?"

"How long was I in there?"

"...weeks...months...you left me for two months..." I could see the sadness in her voice.

"Hey," I pulled her close as we walked. "I'm right here, princess."

"Yeah, but-"

"Nope, if I go somewhere, you're comin with me, okay?"

She laughed gently. "Okay," I kissed her temple, and most of the trip home consisted of silence or finding a part of the third of the village that followed me.

-Back Home-

Malachi ran towards me. "DAD, YOU'RE HOME, WE WERE SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU! ZOEY SAID WE COULDN'T COME AND-"

"Shh, it's okay Malachi, I'm here.. I'm home." I comforted Malachi, while Levin ran towards me for a hug. "I'm here boys.. I'm right here and I'm not leaving... Ever."

"Hey, what about me?" Aphmau giggled. The boys ran over to give her a hug, and Zoey came towards me.

"Hi, so I guess there's gonna be a party?"

"Zoey, how were the boys while I was.. Gone?"

Zoey squirmed. "They... Um.. Were.. They, uh- "

"Zoey?"

"They barely ate," she confessed. "They stayed in your and Aphmau's room all the time, and hoped you would wake up when they were there...they wanted you..."

"I... I never realized how much they care about me..."

"A lot," she smiled.

A moment of silence.

"Ahem, so, about that party?"

"Well, they said you should wait until they heal-"

"Zoey, you know I'm perfectly fine."

"The party's tomorrow evening!" Donna came up beside Zoey.

"You don't really need to do a party for-"

"NONSENSE! OUR LORD PRACTICALLY DIED AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT DID TO APHMAU?"

"Um, no.. I hadn't really asked Aphmau what she did without me... I guess it never came up?"

"She barely left the house," Zoey said.

"HER LIFE WAS MISERABLE WITHOUT YOU! WE PRACTICALLY LOST OUR LORD AND LADY FOR TWO MONTHS! THIS IS WHY GARMAU SHOULD NEVER BE MESSED WITH!" (You can guess who said that)

"I had to take care of the boys, because she stayed home all day, watching over you." admitted Zoey.

I looked over my shoulder. Aphmau was there, a look of sadness on her face as she recalled what she'd done while I was gone. "C'mere, princess." I opened my arms as an invitation to a hug, and she ran into my arms, digging her face into my shirt, hiding the tears that came out so often in the past two months.
[I looked back, and saw Donna trying her best not the explode into a mess of happiness]

"What, you're not gonna kiss me?" Aphmau looked up. And as if on cue, she jumped up and we started kissing. [i could hear all the 'AWW's in the crowd, especially Donna's squealing]

"Like that?" I asked once we broke off.

"Yeah," she giggled.

"There's my princess," I smiled. "I missed your giggles."

"We all did." Logan added. [OMG HE HAS A HEART] then came the rest of the village. Aphmau and I had A LOT of hugs to receive.

-Party Night-
(I'm really lazy today.)

"Hey, bro." Laurance slapped my back. "How are you? I mean, we haven't had a civilized conversation in forever."

"I'm fine, and did you keep what I told you a secret?"

"What?"

"About me wanting, ahem... You know.."

"OH, THAT, Oh, that's still a secret."

"What?" Aphmau appeared beside Laurance.

"Ahem. Um, Laurance, you kept Aphmau company while I was gone?"

"Everyday." He smiled and put a hand on Aphmau's shoulder. She knocked it away, and came over to me.

"Were you okay without me?"

"I had Laurance.." She started squirming.

"Aph," I started.

"I'm.. I'm gonna leave you two to your bro talk."

"Aphmau-" she left.

"Touchy subject," Laurance explained. "She really loves you, you know. There was a guy, a new guy, he uh, he tried to hit on her... While you were.. You know."

"What happened to him?"

"Uh, let's just say he's never going to come to Phoenix Drop again... NEVER. AGAIN."

"There's my princess for you, heh. I'd probably do the same.."

"I think you would, buddy, you definitely would." The music stopped, then a slow tune came on.

"I invited Azura."

"Heh, YOU WHAT?"

"Hey!" Azura came on cue. "Care to dance?"

"Hey, I thought I was supposed to say that! C'mon, let's dance!"

And they left.

"Ahem, you.. Uh, you done with.. Bro talk?"

"Hm? Oh, Aphmau, hi... About earlier-"

"No, no... It's- it's okay, it's fine.. I mean I have you now, and that's all that matters, right?"

"Yeah, now, care for a dance, m'lady?"

"Shall we m'lord?"
