A/N - IM SO LATE IM SO FRAGGING LATE I AKBSNDHFJJRNSN- I'm bored... Meow. (I'm sorry, it's just impossible for me to go a chapter without saying meow these days.) So, basically I'm making these next two chapters REALLY LONG, because ONE CHAPTER AFTER THIS IS THE END!!! I need suggestions for the name of the sequel. Got it? GOOD. And for good measure:

Aphmau's PoV

Black. Darkness. Eternal night. That's what I felt. I barely woke up, but at some point, I was reassured that Garroth was okay. I was slowly being nursed back to health for what seemed to be weeks, but only a few days.

I slowly slipped back into consciousness at some point in the middle of the night, and recounted what had happened nights ago..

"What about Garroth?" I asked.

"There's no need for him, he'll be fine." Will replied.

"O-o-okay.." I walked inside, Will pushing me in.

I got in bed, and he sat by my side. I started to doze off, and then became aware of his presence right next to my face.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, but the high priest promised me."

What did he promise you? I thought.

"I got promised.. I got promised that I'd have you." He lunged forward, and smashed his lips onto mine, and I screamed. He darted away, and I got up quickly enough to see Garroth get hit by a tranquilizer dart.

I started silently crying, now becoming aware that I was safe in Garroth's arms, and apparently, he heard or felt my tears.

He blinked a few times, looked down, and I watched as his face turn from nonchalant to shock, then to worry.
"What's wrong?" He asked quickly. "What happened, are you okay?"

"Just a... Nightmare.." I said. He wiped my tears. "It... It was about Will.."

"Aphmau.." He pulled me close, and hugged me hard against his chest.

"AH!" I shrieked as I fell into the darkness, the familiar darkness that consumed me so often these days.

"Welcome back, princess." I stared into the eyes that so matched Garroth's.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO WILL?" I immediately screamed.

"Oh, he found you?" Zane created a screen with a flick of his hand. "Well, I just happened to see what went down that night." He smirked as the scene from two nights ago appeared. Will saying that he'd been promised, then smashing his lips onto mine.

"WILL- HE- YOU TRICKED HIM!"

"Oh really? Hadn't noticed." He waved dismissively. (Sorry, I'm sleepy and my grammar can sometimes be REALLY OFF.) "Well, I really must be going, goodbye, now!" He slashed his sword, cutting my right cheek, and nearly missing my eye. I flew into even more darkness.

"APHMAU!" Garroth's hand immediately went to my cheek. "WHAT HAPPENED?"

"I... Garroth, I.. I need to... Can I sit down?"

"Sure," he smiled reassuringly, and carried me over to the chair. (The chair thingy in their room.. Also, about Malachi and his.. Human situation, [ep 93 or 94 of MC Diaries] just pretend he was a human all along..?) "Here, I'll get-"

I instinctively kissed him, activating my magicks. "All better."

Garroth laughed, and laid a finger on what used to be my wound. "All better." He confirmed. "Feel free to kiss me when you're wounded."

"I sure will," I giggled, and gave him a light kiss.

"Good morning, Princess." Garroth smiled down at me, and brushed the loose hairs off my face.

"Morning?" I rubbed my eyes.

"It was about 6am when you woke, and I finally got you to sleep after that. It's been about two hours."

"I'm hungry,"

"Okay," Garroth laughed. We went downstairs, and I helped myself to breakfast. Or brunch or whatever.

"Can we.. Go out for a walk?" I asked.

"Aph, I gotta get back to my guard duties, they've gone without me for months." He grabbed his armor and weapons.

"Fiiiiiine... "

"I'll be back,"

"I know... It just... Feels weird without you.."

"C'mon, I gotta go, but you wanna drop me off?"

"...okay." We headed out the doors, Garroth's sword and shield in hand. We walked on the path, and stopped at the main guard tower.

"Hey!" Laurance descended down the ladder. "Welcome back, bro!"

"I gotta go," Garroth kissed me goodbye. "Love you!"

"Love you too!" I walked away to check on the village, so I headed to Molly and Dale's first.

"Molly? Dale? You in here?" I opened the door.

"Lady Aphmau!" Molly appeared on the steps. "We still need to plan your party, you know."

I squirmed. "Well... With Will, and then Garroth getting knocked out.."

"You just haven't found the time to do it." A warm voice said from the kitchen. "Hey, Lady Aphmau!"

I walked a little more into the house. "Oh, hi Dale! And um... Yeah. I'd.. Kind of like to relax a bit... After everything.."

"We understand, it hasn't been easy for us, either." Molly sympathized. "We lost both our lord and lady for at least four months. He didn't show it much, but Laurance had a really hard time supporting the village all by himself."

"I... I guess so. I- I was so inactive when Garroth was lost in the soul chamber... Was- was he really the same for me?" I sat down.

Dale nodded sadly.

"I- I'm sorry.. It's just... Nowadays, Garroth has just been... Like a half of me... And.. Without him... "

"Hey. It's fine, I'm sure everyone in town wouldn't blame you or Garroth." Molly said.

"Thanks.. Um, I- I gotta go.. I'll see you later?"

"Have a nice day," Dale smiled.

"Don't forget the party!" Molly said as she went upstairs.

"I won't!" And with that, I headed to the next house.

(Ooh... What are we gonna do with Nicole? Hm.... Suggestions, anyone?)

-After Daily Rounds-

After I finished the first daily round I've had in a while, I headed home to Malachi and Levin. (Wait I told you what we were gonna do about Malachi's situation, right? I think I did.. )

"Hey, mom!" Malachi sat on the swings, and Levin played in the sandbox, while Zoey sat on the bench supervising. She waved at me.

"Hm?" Levin looked up from his teeny castle in the sand. "Oh. Hi mama!"

"Hi, boys!" I smiled, and headed inside.

"AH!" My hand barely grasped the door handle when I fell into the familiar darkness.

"APHMAU!" Someone grasped me tightly.

"WHO ARE YOU?" I screamed.

"APHMAU... It's me.. It's Will.." I was suddenly staring into coffee brown eyes.

I started to shake. "WHAT DID ZANE DO TO YOU?"

"I- I was a fool.. He- he possessed me... And- the deal is done.. It's... It's over."

I felt tears well in my eyes. "I... I missed you." I hugged him. "You know you can't hit on me, right?"

He laughed. "Sure, there are plenty of single girls in your village, right?"

"Yeah.."

"Heh... Wait- NO- APHMAU, YOU HAVE TO FIND ME, ZANE-" he melted into shadow, and I watched as those warm brown eyes melted, giving way to unforgiving icy blue ones.

"Back again, are we, PRINCESS?" He slashed at me with a knife, cutting my lower left thigh, and cutting my forehead as I fell.

I fell into a familiar place...

Then I realized. It was my house on the hill. This must be what's happening while I black out into one of these things.

Garroth approached my limp body.

I started to get cut.

He waved dismissively. "Leave her. She's been having way too many seizures. She'll wake up eventually." He poked me with his sword.

I started to scream, weep, hoping that it was an illusion. It seemed so real... But..

"A-APHMAU?" Garroth appeared at my side, holding me close.

"Garroth.." I started sobbing, clutching him tightly, holding on for what seemed to be my life.

"Princess... My sweet princess.." He rocked me, comforting me and telling me everything would be okay. He didn't care about the blood. He knew that eventually we'd kiss, and I'd heal myself. "You were gone for and hour.. Maybe more."

I started trembling. "W-Will... He was there... He said... He said that... Zane possessed him.. And now Will is somewhere out there... Zane possessing him every now and then..."

"What has that bastard done to my life?" Garroth looked out into the distance. "He's ruined everything.. Me, my village, my friends.. My wife." He looked down at me as I continued to shake. "Aphmau.."

I leaned in. "It can get better, can't it?" We locked lips, and that bright pink aura from before returned. I felt myself melting into him, not wanting to pull away up until I needed air. My arms around him, his arms around me, an everlasting embrace that I will never forget. (I ain't PG-13, and so, NU SUPER DETAILED KISS. "I guess it can get better, can't it?" Garroth pressed his forehead onto mine.

"Ahem.." Someone cleared their throat. And that someone was about to explode. "... AALAKJSHSJJAKJAJJSDHN OMG GARMAU IS SO CUTE I JUST CANT EVEN WITH THE GARMAU CUTENESS, AND YOU GUYS REALLY NEED TO-" <how can one not be able to guess whom has said this by now?>

"Do you have to return to your guard duties?" I pouted.

"I guess I can stay for five minutes.." He carried me into the house, bridal-style, and laid me on the couch. "Nah, five minutes is over." He smirked.

"Aw," I got up, and kissed him. "Well, g'bye now!"

He laughed. "Yeah, okay!" He walked out the door, as if nothing happened.

I sat by myself, alone on the couch.

"Mom?" A small voice asked.

I turned around, and saw Malachi standing there. "Hi.."

"You okay?" He came to sit with me on the couch.

"Yeah.. Where's Levin?"

"Nap time."

"What about you?"

"I'm not tired.." He laid in my lap.

"Oh really?" I smiled down at him. "Your head begs to differ."

"I just... Wanted to lay down.." A smile appeared on his face.

"Lay down to nap," I said. "Now that you mention it, now wouldn't be a bad time for a nap."

~Time Skip~(Late Afternoon - Early Evening)~

Garroth's PoV

It was early evening, and I headed home. I walked through the doors, took off my armor, and laid down my weapons. Where's Aphmau? I looked at the couch, and chuckled. Aphmau was laying on the couch, her face without scowl, and Malachi in her arms.

"Hey, buddy." I whispered. I carefully removed Malachi from Aphmau's arms, and carried him upstairs. I headed back downstairs and out my face so close to Aphmau, we'd kiss once she woke up.

"Princess," I whispered. "Wake up."

She opened her eyes, and I jolted forward and pressed my lips onto hers. "How ya doin?" She yawned.

"Dinner?"

"Kawaii~Chan's?"

"Fine."

-Bed Time Talk Thing After Dinner-

I laid my head on Garroth's shoulder as we sat on the bed.

"What?" He laughed gently.

"Nothing," I replied. I cuddled up and practically clung to him on the bed. "Nothing at all,"

"C'mere," he went on top of me, and started tickling me.

I started giggling, which turned into laughter. "GAR- ROTH- " I gasped for air, still laughing uncontrollably laughing.

"I love you." He stated simply, leaning his forehead against mine.

"What a shock," I giggled. "I love you, too."

"Who would've thought?" He smiled.

Third Person's PoV

Our heroes seemed happy for now, but little did they know, someone was watching them. Someone who'd had a crush on Aphmau longer than Garroth did. Someone who had hidden it for so long... He planned to take her, the brown haired, green eyed, masked man by the name of.... Vylad.

A/N - Oh, yeah, did I mention I forgot that Gene had brown hair? I just assumed he had blue hair like Dante... OH WELL, CLIFFHANGER! (Totally didn't edit that last part..)
