This is Maisie & Sapnap's first
kiss from Chapter 29 of Offline.

but SAPNAP'S point of view!

"I'm gonna miss you." Maisie mumbled through her tiny breaths, looking down at her ring. "I'm gonna miss you too." I told her.

After those words left my mouth, she slowly glanced back up, keeping her gaze toward me. The tension was both loud and calm.. I don't know to describe it.

She took a deep breath, and hesitated. But before I knew it, she placed her hands on my face. With the faintest of light and in the darkness, I was still able to see her soft smile.

I noticed her switching glances between my lips and my eyes, as I did the same.

My mind was rushing with feelings and questions going through my mind, but I only had one I wanted to answer. Was this going to be worth it?

She has never been able to escape my mind. God, I've liked her since we were younger, and never in my life did I think I'd get to kiss .. my Sunny ?

After seconds of being kept with my thoughts.. Maisie leaned in. Her soft lifts lightly pressing onto mine, and without any hesitation, I kissed her back.

I don't know what came over me, but it felt so right. With every bone in my body, I just know I won't regret this. Not letting go, I quickly placed my hands on both her cheek and lower back.

After a couple of seconds, we let go for air, smiling at each other and allowing the room to fall silent, once again.

Staring at each other once more, still hand in hand, we began to softly laugh.

She let go before looking back down at her hands, clearly not wanting to look at me, which made me smirk.

She's probably so red.

Giving her and myself a few moments of silence, I eventually spoke up. ".. So what was that.." I let out with a small laugh following after.

"I don't know." She replied, I could hear her smiling.

I still didn't know what just happened, well obviously we just kissed but I felt myself begin to freak out from ... happiness? shock? ... Something.

Without any second thought, I leaned back in once more,  placing a kiss on her forehead. "You should get some rest, Sunny." I said with a smile, attempting to get upZ

"Wait-" She suddenly grabbed my forearm before I could leave her side, pulling me into another kiss that I allowed without any hesitation. "Please stay." She whispered softly.

Oh My God.

"Okay." I nodded, trying not to be weird.... But oh my god. Oh my god.

"But, can I grab something downstairs real quick?" I asked awkwardly as she laughed. God her laugh.

"Yeah." She softly said before I grinned. "Okay. I'll be back. I promise." I said as I let go of her hand, and getting up.

I tried to play it off and quickly hurried out of the room. I had nothing to grab. I just needed a moment to myself. I just kissed Sunny??? or well.

She just kissed me.

"FUCK." My mind echoed as I made it out her room, softly shutting the door. I whipped out my phone flashlight to try and help myself down the stairs to where my stuff was kept, but my mind was flooded with the thought of us kissing.

We just kissed?? I JUST FUCKING KISSED MAISIE?
SHE JUST FUCKING KISSED ME??

I have practically waited all my life for that, and IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED? No way..

Taking a deep breath out of pure panic and confusion. I sat down on the couch and pulled out my phone. There was still a blackout and the wifi was still down, my cellular data was so slow, but I needed to talk to someone,, OR ANYONE, OR JUST THE GUYS.

I sent an SOS message in our Discord of just the five of us and sat in a VC waiting for someone to join ASAP.

"Please. Someone pick up,,, pick up, pick up." I groaned as I held my phone close, sitting alone in the VC

"Hello.." I heard someone speak, following after the pinging noise of the joining sound.

"DREAM." I said in a hushed whisper shout.
"Sapnap?" He groaned, assuming he just woke up or something.

"Please, dude I'm shitting bricks right now." I let out a breath, clearly panicking.

"Ew." He mumbled.

"DUDE, MAISIE KISSED ME." I whispered harshly.
"HUH??" He gasped. "WHAT?!" He yelled.

"I'm .. I'm freaking out, I-"

"WAS IT A MISTAKE?? DID YOU KISS BACK- WHAT THE HELL??"

"I don't think it was a mistake..." I admitted. "At least i hope it wasn't... She kissed me twice, Dream. TWICE."

"Wait she kissed YOU? .. or you kissed HER?" He paused. "AND TWICE?? WHAT??"

"SHE KISSED ME!" I continued to whisper since it was late at night and Maisie was probably trying to sleep upstairs. "And she wants me to sleep beside her tonight. But I told her I needed to grab something when in reality I just needed to talk to you."

"DUDE." Dream laughed. "WHAT A DUB!!"

"WHAT?" I cringed at his comment. "DONT YOU LIKE HER??.. ARE YOU NOT HAPPY?"

"Dude, of course I'm happy." I mumbled. "And I do like her, I like her a lot." I said as I put my head into the palm of my free hand.

"It's just like." I paused, thinking to myself. "What if this just screws everything up?" I questioned.

"She kissed you dude." He mumbled in response.

"Yeah, but it could've been out of impulsiveness?? I— I don't know." I felt confused. "Maybe she just feels lonely...?"

"Sapnap." Dream groaned. "She kissed you TWICE, and asked you to stay with her for the night. You're an IDIOT to think otherwise."

"YOOOOO." We heard someone join the VC.
"Quackity-" Dream began to chuckle.

"SAPNAP, I'm joining maisies Love or Host!" He laughed aloud as my eyes rolled back in annoyance. This guy.

"Oh gosh. Bad timing." Dream began to wheeze.
"I'm joining her Love or Host too." I responded with the sudden decision to do so.

"WHAT?" Dream was caught off guard. "Since when?-"

"Since now." I said cockily. "She kissed me so if I don't win, then I will riot."

"WAIT YOU GUYS KISSED??-" Alex questioned.
"No.." I lied.

"Quackity, Alex I got lonely." Karl's voice popped up after the joining sound played. "George and his stream is boring."

"Oh, christ." I sighed into my hands as I began to overthink again, but what am I even overthinking?

"Maisie and Sapnap kissed." Dream blurted as I let out a loud groan before trying to quiet myself down.

"WHAT?!" Karl gasped. "YOU AND MA—"

"KARL WHY DID YOU LEAVE?!" George suddenrly came into the VC, yelling at Karl and cutting his sentence off.

Oh My God.

"GEORGE, GUESS WHAT!!"
"DREAM, NO, HE'S STREAMING. MEANING HE IS LIVE TO THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE." I panicked.

"Oh Uhh.. Bad timing?" George questioned awkwardly... "Honestly speak up, I think my chat can keep a secret." He teased with a laugh as my anxiety began to rise. Fuck You George.

"George, I swear to God." I said with sass.

"Whatever. Kidding. Would you like me to deafen or something, I'm literally about to end anyways."

"No, it's chill." I mumbled as I heard our texting channel ding, seeing that Dream typed it out instead of blurting it.

"HAHAHAHAAHAHA?!?" George bursted into laugher after probably reading it. "Oh wow, I really can't show my chat that... Or let them hear it." He began to giggle more.

"THERES ACTUALLY NO WAY." He mumbled.

"How is this happening." I groaned. On second thought, I really only needed one of them... but maybe all of them is also good.

"Sapnap, I thought you didn't—" Quackity got confused.
"I lied." I said as I laughed, forgetting I told him we didn't kiss at all.

"Okay wait, I'll be right back." George quickly said before leaving the VC.

"I honestly should've just called you, Dream." I shook my head with a smile on my face.

"Well, now we all know." Karl paused to laugh. "HOW WAS IT!?" Alex asked, finishing Karl's thought.

"It was nice." I said, the moment replaying in my head.

"SIMP!" Karl teased. "HE'S A SIMP!!"

"Did I mention he said Maisie is the one who initiated it. And she did it TWICE!!!" Dream began to air out my business more.

"DREAM!!!???" I groaned.

"TWICE??" Alex gasped. "MY MAN!"

"SHE'S THE ONE WHO KISSED FIRST? SAP, MY GUY, STEP UP YOUR GAME." Karl insulted me.

"Oh shut UP." I said through an annoyed laugh. "You know what, Sapnap? I'm gonna go and win her Love or Host and you will SUFFER!" Alex made fun of me, his contagious laugh following after.

"I'm rooting for Niki, actually." Dream mumbled.
"NIKI!!" Karl clapped.

"Okay, I'm back." George joined.

"You know what, I've had enough for tonight." I mumbled "I am going to sleep."

"NEXT TO MAISIE!" Dream teased me as I made a fake crying noise. "WAIT WHAT??" George wasn't caught up with the lord. "I JUST CAME BACK, MY STREAM IS DONE, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!" He tried to keep me on.

"Too bad." I yawned. "Maybe Dream can just air out my business." I laughed.

"Sapnap just wants to go sleep beside Maisie, and kiss her more." Dream teased, making a stupid joke.

"Yeah that's it, Goodnight." I said blankly before leaving the Voice Channel.

Fuck. I facepalmed and looked at the ground
I really kissed Maisie- ... SHE REALLY KISSED ME..

TWICE.

Taking a deep breath, I got off the couch and made my way back upstairs to join Maisie once again, as she requested. A pit filled my stomach because I just felt nervous. She means the world to me and I really can't mess this up, nor that I want to mess it up.

Quietly stepping into her room and shutting the door, I made quiet but large strides toward the side of the bed I was going to sleep on, and got under the covers beside her.

She was probably half asleep because once I made myself comfortable beside her, she quickly cuddled herself into me, resting her head on my upper body, and placing a hand on my chest.

I laid there staring at the ceiling, thinking about everything that had just happened in the last hour before. I hesitantly adjusted my arm to wrap around her before I slowly but surely placed a kiss on her forehead and drifting off to sleep with her beside me.

And little did she know, I could feel her smile.
