With a squeak sound, the luxurious door of Hae Jun's luxurious hotel opened leading us to a luxurious room. Wow! I never imagined this much of luxury even though I am rich, but not so rich like Hae Jun, he's a trillionaire, and imagine all these luxury you get, that too for free! Meeting Lily was a real luck.

She held my palms and said snapping me out of my thoughts, “this is your room, nice right?”

I nodded, I knew someone exactly like her, she has short hair and a beautiful face like the moon. I asked her, “haven't we met before?” she raised her head to make sure she heard me right. She replied after a pause, “even I was thinking the same when I saw you at first. You are from south Korea right?”

I nodded smiling, noticing Kwan Ho take away my stuffs inside the room and set it all up leaving us to talk. Obviously, he had nothing to do between girls. I asked Lily who was wondering, “oh, what's your school? The school name you studied?”

“mwo? Yongpa high” she replied. And I gave a tough thought and finally I asked, “are you the girl who was known as popular for her beauty when we were 15?”

“oh Ne maja! I was, but how do you know that?”

“I'm the girl who was popular as the topper of the school, we have met Lily. Yes, I can remember you now.” Lily gave a tough thought to recall the topper and finally remembered.

She was left with her mouth open, when she realized that was me. She said, “oh Ne, Ki Ra! You were that Ki Ra! Omo! Our rivalry was the famous topic in our school days! I can't believe we are meeting after so long! Your features have completely changed, Jinjja!” I smiled and we had mini chit chats about our school days afterwards.

Lily said me that some freindships also start from hatred. We did feel awkward after remembering all the embarrassing pranks we did to each other then. We thought of making a new begining with each other as freinds. I was happy that I got to see my old freind, but at the same time was left in awe. How come she caught a big head and a rich bug like Hae Jun!

What a luck she had! She is with a guy owning so many bars and luxurious hotels in NYC! But the only bad choice was his personality, it stinks. I mean, he doesn't show a bit of sympathy for anything and there's no garuntee of his mood. She's his fiancé, and I don't know how she's going to handle with him, He looks more like a cold CEO. I just don't like him at all, I would recommend anyone eyeing him to stop doing that because she was probably digging her own stinky pit. He has such a strict attitude, like no emotion at all!

After sometimes, I came back to my room and said Kwan Ho that we could go to have our dinner, and if we talk about dinner, it's like a cafeteria inside the hotels, most of the luxurious hotels have free buffet. And it doesn't mean I haven't tried buffets, in Yeongpa High school, you have buffets too.

So, I asked Kwan Ho to wait till I change, and I got into lighter clothes, a creamy pink baggy T-shirt tucked inside my ink blue slim fit Jeans. Jeans reminded me of Jeon Appa and my family, I really miss them, but not my Eomma really. I don't miss her at all, she shooed me and doesn't want me back, then why should I need to miss her!?

I brushed off the thoughts and went outside, my clothes made me feel girlish and comfortable, made me feel more like I'm a beautiful and pretty girl in 18s. That feeling obviously comes when you wear your best, right? So, I too had that feeling.

As I was going to the rooftop, where you have a cafeteria under roofs made of glass. How cool right? If any guy proposed me in here, I would be ready to marry him at that very moment, the world ninth wonder, heavenly for real.

I went over the luxurious grand marble where they had placed huge sized bowls, each of them containing different types of food items and curries. I was confused as to what to take, I took a tray, placed a ceramic plate and a few mini ceramic cups, actually like a tiny bowl to put sauce or something. And some other small sized bowls or cups, I went ahead, added Kimchi in one of the bowl, then served my plate with Ramen, and other mini things inside the mini bowls I took like a boiled egg, prawn soup, and salad.

Obviously, there was dessert, I served myself with a cup of strawberry ice cream, 3 scoops. You won't believe they had kept many bowls of different flavors of ice reams, and a scoop, we can have as much as we want! I just took 3 scoops. And Kwan Ho served himself with the oreo-vanilla ice cream, 4 scoops.

I and Kwan Ho, came and sat on a table, which was also luxurious and were enjoying and wondering about the interior designs made in the hotel. As we picked up our chop sticks, I heard a familiar voice come from behind. I turned my head behind slightly to see who it was and as I had guessed, It was Lily.

Oh god, and with her was the doggy whom I never wanted to see! The Cold tree! Hae Jun! He was being greeted and treated so specially, Omo! Oh Ne, he's obviously bound to be treated, because he owns this luxurious hotel with the luxurious interior designed rooftop. Sometime I feel it worth appreciating him for this masterpiece, sometimes I feel he doesn't even deserve a word of appreciation!

Anyhow, I just turned back to glance at my food I've been craving for all these while, yes, I indeed was very hungry, just as I brought the Ramen to my mouth, I heard Lily scream from behind me, “omo, Hae Jun-ah look! It's Ki Ra! I thought she already had her dinner but she's there. Why don't we join her?”

Literally, why something happens whenever I find peace with my food!? And if Lily herself would come, I wouldn't object. But that stinky shoe is also coming with her! I mean she's bringing him, like no!

Kwan Ho said loud enough only for me to hear as he moved his chopsticks around his bowl of Ramen , “there she goes, first time I'm seeing the worst enemy of a person dying to come and eat with that person.” okay, Kwan Ho also was in the same class of mine so he knows our story. He often asked kids below our grade who wanted gossips about us, a certain amount, and then tells the gossip, he traded gossips actually! But he regretted doing that once he was matured.

Anyhow, I remained silent and carried on with my food, I heard Hae Jun's struggles even though he was whispering to Lily, “Aniyo, Lily. I can't go there, we have a special table. Table for the owner of this hotel! A special table, why would I eat on such cheap tables, I have a special table you understand!? I won't go eat with that half-mystery oyster!”  and obviously, i was offended by the word 'oyster'. And I made up my mind to take revenge from that cold guy and make his no-reaction-at-all face, fully red and purple so he gets confused as to how to react.

Somehow, Lily's efforts worked. She came taking a seat beside me, and on the opposite of her, Mister cold, and opposite of me, Kwan Ho. It wasn't bad having a meal with Lily, her speech was intelligent and logical, she spoke about crime cases her dad worked with, and she never told his name but says he is a sort of spy and detective, but she doesn't know who he is really because that's what her mom told her. I asked the reason why she said she doesn't know, obviously, she could've asked him right.

She said that it was because she never saw him since ever he got the promotion, and it was necessary for him to go away and stay in a place where nobody is in contact with him, so he won't be harmed and can peacefully carry out his operations. In my veiw, I really did not understand this kind of stupid work, like any man will never do that, I wanted to know more but maybe some other time. Because, as I say, food is more important for me and all these while I was munching my food listening to her chats.

As our chats shifted to lighter topics, I recalled something, Ah ha! Hae Jun's accountings are yet to be fulfilled. With a sly grin, I made an idea. I swallowed the food and said to Kwan Ho, “Kwan Ho-ya! Look, you always wanted to taste a bit of beer, didn't you? We have the counter here, you can purchase.”

Kwan Ho's eyes widened at my sentence as I saw the Ramen in his chopstick he held closer to his mouth, fall back to the plate. He asked still in a shock, “ w-what!? Jinjja Ki Ra? I mean, I did see that section. But I avoided it because I thought you'd be upset about it.” he still wanted to clarify what I was saying.

My mind voice rang, I mean if he did go there I would have surely beaten his bones. But, in my case, I want to fill the arrears I have with Hae Jun, So he can have an excuse. As Kwan Ho went, Hae Jun got up to go wash his plate, since he was done with his Ramen. The perfect timing! I asked Lily, “Lily, does Hae Jun like spice? Or sweet?”
“wae!?”
“Ani, just a random question. If you really don't wish to answer me, I have no objections.” I acted innocent.

“oh Aniyo, gwenchanha. Well, he has a sweet tooth and doesn't like too much spice though.” and she got up carrying her plate, she glanced at me saying, “let me clean up my hands and wash my plates.” Now, I had to get something ready for Hae Jun with an evil smile.

A few moments later, everybody joined the table. I acted very innocent eating my ice cream. I had to make sure to eat it soon before the scene starts. I dramatically ate it as if I never had ice creams, I did notice that they were watching me. Especially Hae Jun, he glared at me as if I was a beggar eating food after ages, the second thing for which I consider under the revenge am going to take.

As Hae Jun glanced down at the plate of Kimchi, which was the only food left for him to eat, he grabbed the chopsticks and munched down the food. I gulped the last spoon of the ice cream which made Lily giggle. As Hae Jun mumched his first spoon and grabbed another bunch of Kimchi he instantly dropped it. I couldn't stop the giggle trying to slip off me, but had to control, that was because I noticed his face expressions change.

I couldn't resist the laugh but that made me choke, Hae Jun started choking too! Omo! Ki Ra control! His face turned red and Lily kept patting his back, he hardly spoke the words coughing at intervals, “It's.... Spicy!” and asked for water. Lily asked, “spicy? It's not that spicy babe, it's as usual! Let me check!” omo! I can't let Lily have it, she will instantly suspect me because I just asked her about what Hae Jun prefers! I interrupted Lily stopping her from having a bite, “omo Lily! It's not the time to taste the food, he's saying it's spicy then it must be spicy for him, why would he lie? Get some water soo-n” at the last part a part of my blocked giggle slipped out. It delayed for the people to bring water which made Lily scream out of anger, “Ya! What's taking you all so long to bring a cup of water! Are you manufacturing it!?”

All the gaze in the cafeteria was on us. The staff replied, “ma'am sorry, we are running out of water, the water in the tank is over and there has been an issue in the main water supply since morning, so we couldn't refill the tank.”

“omo! Why everything happens at once!?” she stood up shouting madly. I accept that I added spice into Hae Jun's Kimchi, but didn't expect the water to be over, nor I was behind that problem. It was indeed, a coincidence, and I couldn't take anymore risks as I saw Hae Jun's eyes filling with tears, he was coughing badly! if something happens to him, I wouldn't forgive myself because I'm the culprit!

I stood up too, trying to be calm and not to show off that I was the culprit. Lily was really mad and serious and she ordered Kwan Ho who didn't understand what was going on, “Kwan Ho, come with me. I have a bottle of water in my room, let's take it—” and she glanced towards me holding Hae Jun, “Ki Ra, take care of Hae Jun. Take him to any room till we find water.”

“but why me—” before I complete my sentence, she went away. I held Hae Jun trying to help him stand up, his eyes were red as a beast, and his tears were almost finsihed. He shoved my hand of and said with much difficulty, “get away from me!”

I couldn't look at his state, he managed to get off the chair and stand up, but he was wandering because he was in pain and difficulty and had no strength at all! I tired stopping him “Hae Ju—”  but he pushed me away again.

I glanced around the cafeteria which was fully silent, their glasses of water empty, the whole hall was watching the chaos, I had to do something or else Hae Jun would lose his conscious. I glanced everywhere and finally noticed the bar counter, maybe water wouldn't work. But a bit of beer might work, maybe people get addicted to it because it's tasty, I don't remember the taste though, because it was my first time.

I went to the counter and asked, “sir, can I have something effective and soothing ?” and he gave me a bottle of vodka, which had the title vodka. I gave it to Hae Jun, and he drank it breathlessly, in a single shot. After a couple of minutes, Hae Jun started acting weird, he started acting like the drunkards! Amazed over little things and created a huge drama climbing over tables and chairs.

His spicy situation did go away but I think I did something even more worse, I glanced at the bar guy and he glared at me. I got the point, I forgot to mention the reason for which I needed a “effective and soothing” drink! I should've said “something that can control spiciness!” oh no! I made the situation even worse! But I can't be blamed, I don't know what it was, what it tasted like or how it looks like.

I tried my best to control Hae Jun, he became a joke to everybody in the hall, they were laughing at him  and were so keen to know what he would do next. I tried to take him under control but he wouldn't budge, I heard myself saying, “I wonder what Kwan Ho and Lily are doing!? What can take so long for them to bring a bottle of water!?”
