Authors Note: In this oneshot Newt has a nightmare and you're the only one who can calm him down.

Newts POV:
"Y/N! Noooooo!" I yelled as tears fell down my face. Minho and Y/N just came back and a Griever snuck up and followed them back. Y/N face went pale as she fell to the hard stone ground. The Griever left but got what it wanted, Y/N dead.

I felt as if the world was ending and my heart was being squeezed and shattered to a million pieces. I ran over to her side and held her close. Streams of tears fell down my cheeks as I sobbed. "Y/N please please come back to me! I love y-you!" I sobbed into her hair.

Alby but a hand on my shoulder and said, "I'm so sorry Newt, but she's gone." "Noooooo!!!" I screamed.

I woke up to myself screaming and Y/N shaking me awake saying, "Newt! Newt! Wake up! I'm right here!" I sat up and saw Y/N alive holding me close. I felt my cheeks soaked with tears and they still continued to fall. I buried my head in my hands and cried with shaky breath.

Y/N laid her head on mine and held me close while whispering, "Hey, it's okay. I'm here. I got you. Calm down. You'll be okay." She said it over and over while rubbing circles on my back. Slowly my breathing went back to normal and the tears have slowed down.

"Hey can you tell me what happened?" She asked softly. "Nightmare." I said. "About what?" She asked. I sighed just thinking about it and said, "It was just like any other day in the Glade. You and Minho came back and a Griever fallowed you. It stung you and ran back into the Maze. I saw it happen and it felt like my world has ended with my heart shattered to a million pieces. I held you pale limp body in my arms crying and yelling for you to comeback to me. Alby told me that you were dead and I screamed no and then I woke up."

I didn't notice until now that a few tears fell as I told her what happened. She kissed me and I kissed back softly and she whispered, "Newt I'll never leave you, I promise Love." I smiled softly and we both fell asleep in each other's arms into a dreamless sleep.
