How you meet

With Gally you knew him before so you two are children in this and I know his real name isn't Gally but I don't know his real one. And with Alby *shakes head* just don't ask cause even I don't know.

Gally-

"Mommy can I ride my bike to the pond?" you asked your mother as you gave her your best puppy dog eyes. With a sigh she shook her head and grabbed both hers and your hooded caps while you bounced on your feet from excitement. Your mother grinned at you and swiftly tied the cape around your neck while you shoved your hands through the holes that had been made into the fabric.

"You get thirty minutes." she told you as she led you outside. You nodded your head happily before you jumped on your bike and peddled as fast as you could to your uncle's house. Although you knew your uncle wouldn't mind you playing by his pond you still felt the need to ask so you hastily pounded on his front door.

"Well hey there (y/n) I'm guessing you want to play in my backyard." your uncle declared once he opened his front door.

You nodded your agreement with a toothy grin which caused the older man to smile himself.

"Alright, but there's a boy your age back there already. He just lost his parents so be nice okay?"

"Don't worry Uncle (name) I'll be super nice." you promised. Your uncle ran a type of orphanage so you were used to dealing with sad kids but for whatever reason he always made sure to remind you to be nice.

"Um hello?" you called out as you rounded the corner of the house and noticed nobody was in sight.

"What do you want?" a voice, that would have sounded intimidating if the owner had reached puberty already, called out gruff-ly from inside the shed.

"To play." you stated simply while you skipped through the shed doors, "My name is (y/n) what's yours?" you questioned as you tried not to stare at his eyebrows.

"Gally." he answered shortly. He didn't even bother to look up from what he was doing. You sat on the ground quietly, contempt at the moment with just watching him work and trying to figure why he was stabbing a spear through a matress.

"It's a boat!" you cried out once he attached an old sheet to the stick. Gally gave you a weird look but kept his mouth shut and began to drag his boat out into the yard. You quickly made your way beside him and helped him pull the heavy thing beside the murky pool of water.

"I don't think it'll float." you told Gally in a soft voice as you poked him in the side. He swatted your hand away with a glare before he collapsed unto his boat in a pout.

"Aw don't worry Captain Gally it can be a land boat." you gave the glum kid one of your friendliest smiles and to your surprise he smiled back.

"Okay. First Mate (y/n) go swab the poop deck." Gally commanded with his hands on his hips.

What's a poop deck?"

"I dunno it was in a book." he shrugged before his face brightened again, "Want to fight pirates?"

"Of course." you chuckled as you grabbed a dead tree limb off the ground. Gally grinned at you as he softly swung his own limb at you. Soon the two of you were laughing like cranks as you chased each other across the yard.

"(y/n)!" your mother called out and you winced at her unhappy tone.

"Coming!" you yelled back before you twisted around and gave Gally a big hug, "See you later Captain Gally."

"Bye." he told you as he watched you fade into the distance with wide eyes and a goofy grin.

Newt

Terror raced through your body as you opened your eyes to darkness. Yes the fact that you remembered nothing but your name or that you were in a moving box scared you senseless but being in the dark somehow made it twenty times worse. Tears streamed down your face as you brought your knees up to your chest and buried your face into them. Whatever the reason it gave you a slightly comforted feeling but it still didn't come close to eradicating your fear.

"This thing has to go somewhere that has light." you told yourself in an attempt to slow your heart but all it really did was add another fear factor to your list. What if the place you ended up was worse then being in the dark? Another wave of panic tore through you and you frantically pressed into the nearest corner as you moved some of the surrounding boxes to hopefully hide you. Satisfied with your efforts you resumed your face hiding technique just as the box jolted to a stop.

Light flooded all around you and temporary blinded the eye you had peeked open so you had to rely soley on your hearing. Not that the jumbled voices soothed your mind any. The moment you grew used to the brightness you gazed widly at the figures surrounding the opening of your cage but movement from the same level as you caused your gaze to snap to the blonde boy checking behind crates.

"Come on greenie we aren't going to hurt you." he called out in a voice that created the words differently then the guys above you. You pressed deeper into your corner, slightly surprised that you had yet to be discovered, but in doing so you accidedntly knocked over one of the carelessly stacked boxes and it crashed to the metal floor with a loud bang. You winced at the loud sound and the boy quickly whipped around to face your direction.

"You're a girl!" he cried out in shock as his wide eyes raked your trembling body. You pulled your knees up to cover your chest and it seemed to snap him out of whatever state he was in. A blush started to creep up his neck as he averted his eyes away from your body and to the other guys who were craning their necks to get a better look at you.

"Alright you bloody shanks put your eyes back in your head!" the boy called out and sure enough the guys stopped eyeing you like a piece of meat, well they were at least most discret about it.

"Name's Newt." he decalred with a smile as he held his hand out for you.

"(y/n)." you stated softly as you hesitantly slipped your hand into his.

Thomas

"Come on!" Chuck shouted gleefully as he ran toward the openings in the walls. You knew you weren't allowed to go inside them but you were quite certain that somebody would get mad at you if you went near them too.

"Hurry up or you'll miss him!" Chuck yelled out to you as he plowed ahead. Ever since your arrival Chuck had been talking non-stop about Thomas his best friend, and while you thought it was cute how he looked up to the guy it was starting to get on your nerves.

"I'm coming!" you screamed back at him before you added, "It's not like I wouldn't be able to see him from here."

In the distance you could see a pair of boys run through into the Glade; however one stopped to talk to Chuck and the other ran past you. Your eyes somewhat discreetly followed the second guy until he disappeared into a small concrete shack and then you looked back to see Thomas start to jog after the cute guy that had just passed you. Thomas' eyes lifted briefly and met yours before he tripped and wound up with a face full of dirt.

"Are you okay?" you asked him once you reached his side and helped him brush the dirt out of his eyes.

"Yeah. It's not the first time I've fallen." he chuckled lightly as he stood and reached out a hand to help you up.

"And yet they made you a runner." you commented as you sprang to your feet and gave him a pointed look.

"I'm very persuasive." he told you while he slung an arm over your shoulders and winked at you.

"Thomas get your shank but in here!" the first boy called out from the little building and in an instant Thomas took off again, leaving you to shake your head and giggle at his dorkiness.

Minho

"So you're the famous girl greenie everybody's talking about." a voice stated from behind you. With a sigh and a roll of your eyes you straightened your spine and let your shovel drop to the ground.

"And I'm guessing you're the infamous Minho." you crossed your arms to mirror his stance as you gave him an unamused stare.

"Normally greenies don't work on their first day." Minho raised his eyebrows as he slowly circled you while he looked you up and down. Earlier you had smakced a guy in the back of his head because he was checking you out but with Minho it didn't feel as if he was eyeing you out of lust. No, he was eyeing you out of fear; fear that you would knock him off his throne of sass.

"I'm also told that normally girls don't come up either." you shot back while you glanced at him from the corner of your eye. A smirk took up residence on his lips at your words and he silently came to stand in front of you again.

"What do you think of Gally's eyebrows?" he questioned with his stroking an invisible beard. You cocked one of your own normal eyebrows at him before you shrugged your shoulders.

"I think they hate him just as much as I do."

"Why do you say that?" he actually looked confused and you could feel a smile try to form at your lips but you held it back.

"Well aren't they trying to fly off his face?" you asked with a straight face and mock innocence. Minho's eyes widened slightly before he threw his head back in laughter.

"I like you." he declared inbetween his fits of laughter and a grin finally broke out unto your face too. You weren't going to tell him but you just might like him too.

Alby

"Okay then tell this Alby guy to get his butt over here!" you shouted at the poor kid who had led you to were you were supposed to sleep. You were mad. No you were beyond mad. They expected you to sleep in the freaking jail cell just because you were a girl but nope you were not having any of that sexist bull crap.

"What do you want?" a tall clean shaven black boy asked you as he folded his arms across his chest and stared you down. The way he carried himself could only mean one thing, he was the man in charge.

"I want to know why I have to sleep in the stinking dungeon." you answered sweetly and through clenched teeth.

"Because none of the guys here have ever seen a girl before and I can't guarantee that they'll keep their hands to themselves." Alby replied evenly but the stern look didn't leave his face.

Well that threw you for a loop. While you were still angry that you had to sleep in that dank-y place, and on the ground no less, you did have to at least admit that he was trying to look out for you. However that didn't excuse the fact that you had to sleep on the cold and strangely wet ground.

"I'll get sick if I sleep in there." you complained once again but this time your bite didn't have as much anger in it.

"We're sticking a mattress in there so now you'll be sleeping better than the ret of us." Alby stated, looking as bored as all get out. You opened your mouth but before you could say anything two guys arrived with a small mattress between them. Alby silently unlocked the door and they quickly shoved the mattress into the darkness before leaving just as quietly as they had come.

"Sorry for yelling at you, I guess." you sighed while you hopped down into your 'room' and watched him lock the door behind you.

"No problem." Alby shrugged as he began to walk off only to stop and turn around a second later, "Oh and tomorrow you might want to apologize to Chuck. He's scared of you now."
