It was any regular day,just you going out with your best friend Dylan. Probably bowling, maybe cinema if there was any good films on. It was valentines day but that never bothered the both of you-You both agreed that you didn't want to date,not until you were adults. That choice never really changed.

You watch a movie,just a beautifully romantic one about a journey between a young man and his wife,you see a lot of couples there,you notice one of them kissing and holding hands and you just admire them,for some reason wishing that you,that you could be like that with someone.

Once you exit the cinema you start to shiver,the cold air hits you. It's always like that,you know when you enter the cinema in the day light then come out and it's basically pitch black and a blizzard. You start to silently shiver,your teeth helplessly chattering together.

"Here have my jacket." Dylan takes his hoodie off and wraps it around you.
"Thanks Dylan." You zip it up.
"So you liked that film?"
"Yeah,it's was pretty good."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"You know when you know someone,and everything's good. But then one day you start to see them differently,like in a whole new light?"
"What do you mean like that."
"When you fall in love with someone?"
"Um.. I'm not sure."
"It's just I've never been in love before."
"You've never been in love before?"
"No."
"So this person you like,they nice?"
"They're the best. Best person I've ever known."
"Why don't you tell them?"
"I don't want to ruin anything."
"You won't. Of anything you'll just make it better."
"You sure about that Y/N?"
"Positive. Now tell me the name."
"I think you know."
"I do?"

He doesn't say anything for a second until his lips press onto yours,he pulls away after a second.

"Happy valentines day."
