Author's P.O.V.:-

Eunwoo came inside along with the doctor who went straight to check on Jimin. He took his pulse and saw his condition.

"He passed out due to stress and anxiety," the doctor said.

Eunwoo narrowed his eyes and looked at his friend who looked away feeling guilty.

"No problem. I will put him on I.V., he will wake up soon. And also I think he has a past condition, if I can know that I can treat him better," the doctor stated.

"Yes, I will let you know soon, doctor. Thank you," Eunwoo bowed to him and the doctor left after directing the nurse to put an I.V. to Jimin.

Taehyung and Hoseok were still waiting for Jimin outside sitting in the canteen of the hospital. As almost an hour passed, Taehyung got worried,

"Boss, let's go and check. Why is Jimin not coming down? He just said he would ask Jungkook and come with us."

"Alright, let's go," Hoseok nodded as he was also running late for a meeting but he didn't say anything cause Taehyung would tell him to go leaving him and he didn't want to do that.

Then they both saw the doctor coming out of the room and instructing the nurse. Hoseok furrowed his eyebrows, "Why is the doctor checking up on Jungkook? Did he get injured himself or something?"

Hoseok hurried inside the room along with Taehyung and saw the nurse putting I.V. to Jimin.

Taehyung was shocked to see Jimin unconscious, "What happened to Minnie?"

Jungkook and Eunwoo looked at the voice as Taehyung ran to Jimin and held his hands.

"The doctor said he passed out due to anxiety and stress. And Taehyungshi...do you perhaps know if Jimin sunbaenim has any previous condition?" Eunwoo queried.

Taehyung's eyes got glossy, "He was suffering from malnutrition one month back when I saved him as he blacked out on the road. Do you know how thin he was when I found him? He was literally like a skeleton. I feed him well and he improved a little but what happened suddenly he did have his breakfast along with me then..."

After hearing it Jungkook balled his fist and stepped out of the room. Hoseok followed him out and patted his shoulder, "What happened, Kook?"

"I mean he can perfectly live in his Park mansion without any problems but due to his brother who is chasing after him to kill him just to get the property in his hands, Jimin had to live like a poor person. Hyung, do rich people don't know what a family is? Why would they want to kill each other just because of some property?"

Hoseok sighed, "Not everyone is like that Kook. At least not us, right?"

Jungkook hugged Hoseok, "Hyung, am I doing wrong? I want to make him suffer but at the same time, I can't see him in pain. What should I do?"

Hoseok caressed the Younger's back, "You still have feelings for him, don't you?"

"I don't want to have those feelings cause I know Jimin will never understand them. Not back then and not now. I will be only getting hurt if I keep any expectations on him. You saw him right, he stays all sweet if he wants to but then he can hurt the people with his mere words if he doesn't want anything to do with them."

"There must be something that makes him behave like that, don't you think? Why would anyone want to ruin their relationships or friendships that they developed with utmost care?" Hoseok questioned.

"I don't know Hyung. One time I feel like I know him very well and the next second he feels like a different person and I know nothing about him," Jungkook replied releasing a heavy breath.

"Are you telling me that Jiminshi is bipolar or something?" Hoseok joked, breaking the hug.

"Aish, no Hyung. At least if he had that disorder I would have got clarity on how to deal with him. It's just he's so complicated that I don't know what to do with him," Jungkook worded out feeling complicated emotions.

"Then get to know him from now on. He will be living with you anyway and you can observe him closely and know why is he like this but..." Hoseok paused.

"But?" Jungkook looked curious.

"Stop hurting him as you did now," Hoseok spoke.

"How do you-" Jungkook was cut off.

"I mean why would he pass out all of a sudden when he was just fine an hour ago?" Hoseok asked.

"I just wanted to scare him a bit. I didn't know he was this weak," Jungkook mumbled feeling guilty.

Hoseok smacked him, "Kook-ah, I know you want to get your revenge but it has been seven years and Jimin must have suffered his part due to everything that's going on in his family. He must have changed cause problems make a man change from weak to strong or vice-versa."

Jungkook tightened his jaw thinking about how Jimin was trembling and trying to protect himself yesterday night when he thought he was going to hit him.

>>>That was a sign that he went through abuse...

"Aaaargh!!! Then what should I do Hyung? Should I stop taking my revenge just because he suffered in his family? Then what about me? I was suffering because of him for seven years. I can't even sleep without taking a pill 'cause he haunts me in my nightmares," Jungkook punched the wall in agitation.

"Kook, are those really nightmares? According to what you told me, you both were happy for the whole year. You had so many happy moments together which was out shadowed by that just one day when he insulted and rejected you, is it not?"

"Hyung, I don't know what to do," Jungkook looked frustrated.

"Then don't think of anything, Kook. Just observe him for a few days and you will know what to do. Either to get your revenge or to accept your feelings for him," Hoseok suggested.

Jungkook sighed, "Alright, I will listen to you, Hyung. I too don't want to feel guilt or regret after I am done getting my revenge on him."

Hoseok smiled with a nod and ruffled the Younger's hair, "You are too smart and kind, Kook but at the same time too emotional and stubborn which makes you think with your brain not your heart. This time listen to your heart 'cause it's always right."

Jungkook just nodded.

>>>You still love him but are too stubborn to accept the fact and made yourself think that you hate him to cover your feelings.

>>>You are just lying to yourself and I don't know what it will lead to Kook. You might end up hurting him if this goes on ...

Hoseok glanced at Jimin through the glass door with a sympathetic look.

Eunwoo was just standing beside the door and heard everything they talked about. He smiled,

>>> At least, you are trying to listen to someone, Kookie. I hope you don't make Sunbaenim suffer more than this.

>>>And I am happy that you are making friends other than me. Now I can rest assured after I leave you.

Eunwoo smiled with pain clutching his chest.

Seven Days Later...

In Jeon's mansion,

Just three days after the incident Jungkook told Min Ho that he doesn't want to stay in the hospital anymore and sneaked out with Eunwoo and Jimin at night.

Min Ho and Ji Hyun were furious but they know what Jungkook was like so they just gave him a good scolding.

After Jimin gained consciousness he stayed quiet most of the time and didn't tell Taehyung what happened even after he asked him numerous times.

Hoseok took Taehyung away and Jimin cried for hours after that. Eunwoo tried to console him but he didn't stop.

Jungkook didn't want to look at the smaller crying like that so he stayed in another room for the rest of the days and didn't talk with him.

Jungkook and Eunwoo were shocked to see Jimin's luggage cause it was just a worn-out suitcase. If Taehyung didn't have brought him some new clothes the suitcase wouldn't be even full.

Seeing Jimin like that Jungkook got angrier and stayed away from him cause he doesn't want to lose control and hurt him again.

It was peaceful for Jimin but he didn't understand why Jungkook was ignoring him and it made him overthink and become conscious of his body thinking that Jungkook was disgusted by him after he saw him naked.

He mostly stayed in his room and didn't come out. But Jungkook told the servants to give him nutritional food and feed him from time to time.

The old Ajhumma lady who worked for Jungkook took the responsibility of feeding Jimin and became close with the smaller.

Jungkook didn't say anything and it has been four days that things were going on like this.

Today too just like the other days, Jungkook was eating his green breakfast at the dining table while the Ajhumma went to Jimin's room to give the breakfast.

"Kookiee!!" Eunwoo chirped as he entered the mansion.

"You are here. It's been four days and you remember me now, my best friend?" Jungkook mocked cause he felt suffocating all alone in the mansion.

Jungkook and Eunwoo were together most of the time for seven years and there was not a day they didn't bicker or fight with each other.

And when Eunwoo took his luggage and left to his apartment to give some space Jungkook didn't feel good at all.

"My apartment was literally like a witch's room. Do you know how much time it took me to clean everything and make it decent? All my muscles are aching so badly," Eunwoo sat beside him as the servant brought his breakfast.

"And who told you to do it all alone? You could have taken my servants and let them help you clean it," Jungkook smacked his friend.

"Yes, young master. We would have helped you," one of the maids said.

"I didn't want to trouble you guys. It's fine I have already cleaned it. If I let you all do everything I will become lazy like this Kook," Eunwoo made faces mocking back his friend.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "Is it necessary for you to move to your apartment? Why don't you just stay here?"

Eunwoo paused for a minute hearing it but he knew better than anyone that Jungkook just wanted a friend to accompany him and nothing more than that.

He didn't keep any expectations from the start for the past seven years even though he had feelings for his friend he never showed them and stayed as good friends and would continue to do so cause he knew from the start Jungkook's heart doesn't belong to him anymore.

"If anyone heard this they would think that I am your boyfriend or something and I am trying to break up with you," Eunwoo jested while eating.

Jungkook caught his friend's ear and twisted it, "If you were my boyfriend I would have broken up with you the day you spit out and didn't eat mint-choco."

"Ew, you and your love for mint-choco. You just see one day I will gather all mint-choco haters and ban it from Korea," Eunwoo showed his tongue.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "And one day I will gather all mint-choco lovers and then throw you all out of the country."

The maids and servants smiled seeing their master and Eunwoo being silly like that.

Jungkook would stay all gloomy and quiet if Eunwoo wasn't by his side. If they were together then they don't stop mocking, hitting, and bickering with each other and they find their Master in a good mood all day.

"Um...Kookie, why is Jimin Sunbaenim not eating with you? You are not starving him, are you? Taehyungshi said he suffered from malnutrition," Eunwoo got worried seeing Jimin nowhere.

"Shut up, what do you take me for? Do you think I would lock him up in a cold basement without giving him any food or water to take my revenge?" Jungkook glared at his friend.

"You might who knows what's going on in your coconut head?" Eunwoo looked skeptical.

Jungkook smacked his friend again, "He isn't coming out from his room. What should I do? Go and beg him? And he is eating fine 'cause Ajhumma is the one feeding him, so don't worry."

Eunwoo frowned, "Why isn't he coming out of his room?"

"Who knows? The Park family's Young master is of high maintenance as always and it's better this way. If I see him I don't know what I will do to him in anger," Jungkook responded.

"Aish, why are you both so stubborn? Anyhow, the doctor asked to bring Jimin Sunbaenim to the hospital for a check-up, right? Let's go," Eunwoo said getting up after finishing his breakfast.

"Where to? I am not coming to the hospital. Take him by yourself if you want. I have to go to the company to check the scripts," Jungkook refused.

"Kook!" Eunwoo glared at him, "I know you are worried for Sunbaenim too so stop acting and take us with you. I will bring Sunbaenim, you start the car."

Eunwoo ran to Jimin's room without hearing Jungkook. Sighing Jungkook went out of the mansion and sat in his car with a sulky face.

Eunwoo came out with Jimin who was looking troubled and sat in the car, "Let's go."

Jungkook looked at Jimin through the rearview mirror and saw him stressed. Frowning Jungkook started the car and stopped in front of the hospital.

The three of them started walking to the doctor's cabin straight away as they already had an appointment,

"There is no need for a check-up," Jimin mumbled while following the friends.

Jungkook looked back and found him adorable seeing his puffed-up cheeks and pouty lips. The smaller was wearing an oversized pastel pink colored hoodie along with blue jeans.

>>>Cute...

He shook off his thoughts and held the smaller's hand, "Be a good boy and just get the check-up."

Jimin looked up immediately blinking his eyes as the taller held his hand. He talked with him nearly after a week.

His eyes got glossy as he heard the taller. He thought Jungkook would never talk with him again as he was disgusted by him.

He cried every day as Jungkook never approached him again after that day. He felt the cold treatment so torturous than his anger and humiliating words.

Today, if Eunwoo didn't come to his room and told him that Jungkook wanted to take him to the hospital for a checkup he would have broken down again.

Jimin tightened his grip and followed Jungkook obediently with his head down cause he was looking at their intertwined hands.

Eunwoo smiled looking at them and shook his head,

>>>Both are too stubborn that they didn't even talk with each other for a whole week expecting the other to come and talk with them.

Eunwoo mentally facepalmed.

They reached the cabin and knocked on the door.

"Come in," the doctor said.

The three of them went inside and sat in front of the doctor.

"Ah, you are here," he greeted them with a smile.

"So, Jimin, how are you feeling now?" The doctor asked.

"I am good, doctor," Jimin replied.

"Then let's do some check-ups," the doctor suggested.

"No," Jimin declined immediately. The doctor and Eunwoo were confused while,

Jungkook looked at him with a frown, "Jimin..."

"I know about my condition that's why..." Jimin said as sweat formed on his palms due to nervousness.

"Then tell me about it," the doctor asked, calmly.

"I am anemic," Jimin answered looking at Jungkook instead of the doctor.

"From when?" The doctor questioned.

"From... birth," Jimin answered and looked at the doctor averting his eyes from Jungkook.

"Is that why you passed out that day? Didn't you take your medication?" The doctor asked.

"Um...no," Jimin bit his lips and Jungkook understood why, 'cause that day Jimin was persistent to go back to his room.

>>>He wanted to take his medicines?

Jungkook clenched his jaw,

>>>He could have just said it, dammit!

They were still holding hands so Jimin sensed the tightening of Jungkook's grip and he dared not to look at him.

"In any case, let's do some tests so that I can get clarity about your condition," the doctor said.

"No!" Jimin panicked.

"Why?" Jungkook asked this time, "You are not hiding something from me again, are you?"

Jimin bit his lips, "No, I am not... it's just I have an anxiety disorder. I fear check-ups and I passed out nearly when I was last checked up by the doctor so he suggested that I shouldn't get any more checkups until my anxiety is cured."

"Then let's not do any check-ups. I will just prescribe the medications for your anemia and your anxiety. Take them for now and if any problem arises we will think about performing tests then, ok?" The doctor said and started writing the prescription.

Jimin heaved,

>>>Thankgoodness...he stopped probing. I can't let anyone know that I am not normal...and Kookie must not know about me no matter what.
