2016...

Seoul University,

"Jiminie Hyung, let's go. Eunwoo's performance is gonna start," Jungkook drags the elder along with him as he sees the signal that everything is ready at the stage.

They both go and sit in the front seats and start watching the performance of the acting club.

They are performing the musical play named, "An American in Paris," which is a romantic melodrama between an American soldier and a French woman amidst the wake of world war II.

Eunwoo is the main character playing the American soldier and his classmate is playing as the opposite lead.

Jimin is watching the play so excitedly as if it's his first time watching a musical. He is so immersed in it that Jungkook is chuckling while looking at him adoringly seeing his cute expressions.

And also he is getting nervous with each passing minute cause right after the play he had to propose to the elder.

The theatre club and his classmates prepared a grand setting at the end of the play which is very suitable for anyone to propose there.

They planned to call Jimin out at the climax of the play and Jungkook changes his clothes then they bring back Jimin to the stage and bam the proposal starts.

As planned, a person comes and calls Jimin in the middle of the play.

"Are you Jimin?" The person asks to confirm.

"Yes," Jimin replies.

The person leans in and whispers something to him. Jimin nods and looks at Jungkook who is acting as if he is immersed in the play and not paying any attention to him.

So he calls him, "Kookie, someone is here for me, I will be back in just a few minutes."

Jungkook nods, "Take your time, Hyung. I will be waiting for you."

>>>I have to go immediately change into the suit so the more time he takes the better.

Jimin nods and leaves with the man. Jungkook immediately gets up and goes to the backstage area where his classmates are waiting for him.

"Why are you here, Jungkook?" One of his classmates asks.

"The person took Jimin out," Jungkook replies.

"What already? Isn't it too soon? We planned to bring him out at the climax but the play is still in the middle," a classmate exclaims.

"Maybe Eunwoo told them to do so, anyway the plan has been started so let's go prepare and Jungkook go change into the suit," another classmate says.

Jungkook nods and goes inside the dressing room while his classmates go to the space on the top of the stage with baskets of rose petals to pour on them when Jungkook proposes.

And the others sign their friends on the stage to hurry and finish the play. So they immediately skip some dialogues and change the set to the climax scene.

Jungkook gets ready, actually, it isn't his suit. He borrowed it from the theatre club's costume for the evening.

He had no money, to begin with, cause their family is poor and on top of it he had to go train as an idol while working part-time.

All the money goes to his bus fares for traveling and for his food. He thought for days about what to give Jimin while proposing to him. He can't bring diamond rings like rich people.

All he could afford is a rose but he is sure that his Jiminie Hyung will accept it cause the elder doesn't like expensive things, he likes simple and small things given with honest feelings.

And everyone agreed to that cause the Jimin Sunbaenim they know is an angel in human clothes.

But all their expectations turned out to be opposite when Jimin rejects Jungkook right after he proposes to him on the stage.

After the play is finished, Eunwoo runs backstage and meets with his friend.

"Kook, I am going to bring Sunbaenim now, are you ready?" He asks.

"Yes, but I am a little nervous, Eunu. He will accept my proposal, right? Or is it too simple?" Jungkook looks anxious.

"Kook, we tried our best to set up the mood and surprise Jimin Sunbaenim. Even though it's not grand enough but our feelings count, isn't it? Everyone helped you and is cheering for you. So you should brace yourself and confess to him. After you become a successful actor you can propose marriage to him grandly, what say?"

Eunwoo wiggles his eyebrows teasing his friend who becomes shy,

Just the thought of him marrying Jimin in the future is making him tingly all over. He couldn't hide his smile, his ears become red.

"Ay, ay! Are you shy now, Kook? Of course, you will be boyfriends after this but in the future, you guys will become husbands," Eunwoo teases more.

"Aish stop it, first let's focus on this proposal. We will think about that later," Jungkook pushes Eunwoo away while smiling.

"Okay, go on the stage. I am going to bring Sunbaenim to you," Eunwoo says and leaves.

Jungkook goes and stands on the stage and everyone is waiting for Jimin to come there. They are so excited to see the proposal. But Eunwoo walks out of the auditorium tearing up, silently.

As soon as Jimin steps inside the lights go off and becomes so dark that he couldn't see anything and he is taken to the stage by some person. Jimin looks confused.

And then he hears the voice of the speaker,

"Jiminie Hyung, the first time I saw you in the library in white clothes, I thought you were an angel descendant from heaven. I was mesmerized by your beauty and was in trance. I felt my heart raising when I hold you while you were going to fall...

It was like a miracle. You the miracle of my life Hyung. The moment I saw you, I fell in love with you. And my feelings for you started growing with each passing day and I couldn't deny it anymore that I can't live without you...

Every second I spent with you felt magical and special to me. The first time I tasted your rice cakes, I thought that maybe you are not a human, you are really an angel 'cause they tasted so heavenly that they couldn't be made by human hands, that's what I thought and everyone agrees to it right?" Jungkook asks.

And all the student present agree saying a big "YES!!!"

"I thought about it so long that if I can even love you? I am from a poor family and you are the young master of a rich family. I was uncertain and afraid to show my feeling for you. But our first kiss under the cherry blossoms removed all those uncertainties.

And when you became jealous of my and Eunwoo's friendship, I was on cloud nine cause I became sure that you feel the same as me. So gathering all my courage today, I want to confess to you"

Jungkook pauses and lights turn on. He walks towards the center where Jimin is standing still. His eyes are looking cold, unlike his normally innocent eyes. But Jungkook couldn't notice it and he advances in front of him.

"I love you, Jimin hyung" Jungkook confesses nervously stretching his hand that is holding a red rose & everyone is cheering for Jimin to speak up but Jimin is just standing still with a nonchalant expression on his face. The students waiting to shower roses are ready to do it once Jimin accepts the proposal.

Jimin takes the rose & Jungkook's smile widens but he just drops the rose & steps on it, "I am not interested in a poor guy like you who brings just a rose for proposing & expects me to love you back, how pathetic?!"

Everyone looks shocked hearing it. They didn't expect it at all. And they stop themselves from showering the rose petals.

"J-Jiminie Hyung?" Jungkook couldn't believe his ears.

"What? You can't believe what I said just now? Cause you were so sure that I would accept your beggarly proposal," Jimin starts laughing.

Jungkook looks shocked seeing him like that.

"Aw, poor you. You thought I love you just because we kissed sometimes? Do you think you are the only one I kissed? You really believed the act that I am an innocent boy who doesn't even know how to kiss? What did you take me for and how can you be such a fool to even not recognize my acting? Maybe I am such a good actor than the students in your major," Jimin chuckles.

"H-Hyung, what are you s-saying?" Jungkook stutters as his eyes become glossy. He doesn't want to believe that all the time they spend were just his Hyung's acting.

"Aish, you really! But I can't blame you at all cause I acted like a saint the day I stepped into the university. Cause my father told me if I make trouble in the university as I did in my college he will cut off all my cards. So I acted all angelic and gained popularity among the students and teaching staff so that when my father enquires, he couldn't find anything." Jimin smirks.

Jungkook and everyone look shocked hearing it.

Jimin leans forward and strokes Jungkook's right cheek, "Did you ever wonder why my bodyguards always stay by my side and beat those who approach me but they didn't do anything to you?"

"W-Why?" Jungkook asks.

"Cause I was the one who told them to leave you. I always hated those who approached me after I just act kind to them. They think I will become their's because I am so naive and innocent. How disgusting so I told my bodyguards to beat the shit out of them and show them their place. But still, some approach me to see me with their pervy eyes so I was looking for an idiot who will become an example of what will happen if they approach me and just then I met you. So I started playing with you."

"You played with me?" Jungkook asks as his eyes tear up.

"Yup, and listen everyone. Who the fuck do you think you all to even try to get close to me? Do you even know who am I? You are not even qualified to become my slippers, you motherfuckers! Go and fuck yourselves!" Jimin shows them his middle finger.

And then he releases a big sigh of relief, "Ah, it feels good after cursing out. I thought I will die smiling like an angel all these years. Now, I am free. I am leaving this country and going to enjoy my life and you all suckers go and study 'cause your asses are not rich like me."

He then looks at Jungkook, "You, go and love someone of your level, Kookie. It's a shame that you are so handsome but dirt-poor. If you were rich, I would have thought of becoming your boyfriend."

He pinches the younger's cheek while smiling shamelessly, "Ah, and those gifts you brought me today I burnt them 'cause I hate to see cheap things. Then, see you never again."

Then Jimin leaves bumping Jungkook's shoulder, everyone who was cheering just before becomes dead silent & is in shock.

Jungkook feels a sharp pain piercing through his heart. He falls onto his knees crying hard.

Present...

Jungkook drags Jimin to a restroom in the corner and placed a "Not working" sign in front of it. He then takes Jimin inside and slams him to the wall.

"What did you say? Sorry?" Jungkook hits his hand on the wall, looking furious.

Jimin flinches and trembles to see the menacing look in the younger's eyes.

"Sorry for what? For playing with me? For making a fool out of me?" Jungkook asks in his dangerously deep voice.

"N-No..." Jimin gulps his saliva.

Jungkook snarls, "Are you scared now? Or are you still acting? You should receive an Oscar for fooling me and everyone in the university for your personal gain."

Jimin looks away not wanting to say anything.

"Look at me, Park Jimin!" Jungkook grabs the elder's chin tightly and turns his face.

"You told me to go and love someone of my level, now what's your level? Should I bring a beggar to fuck you?" Jungkook mocks.

Jimin tears up hearing it.

"You told us all that you will be leaving the country and will have a free life and all. And now look at you, working in a restaurant as an assistant chef, what happened to the rich young master, huh?" Jungkook asks.

Jimin doesn't speak anything and just cries silently.

"Don't act like you are hurt in front of me. You are a feelingless bitch who doesn't have an inch of emotion. All you do is fuck around with rich men like a slut and to think I thought of you as an angel, ew! The angels will cry bloody tears if they hear it," Jungkook scorns.

"Jungkook!" Jimin shouts while crying.

"Why? Are you angry? Did I say anything wrong? You are the one who asked whether I think I am the only one you kissed. So you must have kissed other men and if you did then you might also have let them fuck you, who knows as you said you are not innocent, isn't it?" Jungkook asks.

Jimin pushes him away and tries to walk out but Jungkook doesn't let him and bangs him to the wall.

"Where do you think you are going?" Jungkook questions looking menacingly.

"Let go of me," Jimin struggles to free himself.

"You are not running anywhere this time, Jimin. I am going to make sure you suffer double the times I did," Jungkook states.

"Leave me, I should go to the kitchen," Jimin says trying to free himself of the younger's grip who is tightening it more around his wrist so that it is turning red.

"You will not be working here anymore, so you don't have to worry about the kitchen," Jungkook declares.

"What, why won't I work here?" Jimin looks confused.

"Because you are fired, Park Jimin. But there is good news for you," Jungkook voices out.

"I-I am f-fired?"

"Ask the good news, first. You will be working as my assistant manager from tomorrow and I am going to show you hell, personally," Jungkook smiles, evilly.

"Why would I work for you? And the boss won't fire me without any reason," Jimin proclaims.

"He will cause the one who you fought with earlier, is the town Mayor's sister and to avoid any problems Hoseok Hyung has to fire you who caused the trouble to maintain his Blueside restaurant's reputation."

Jimin stays silent for a moment, "Even if he fires me why would I work for you?"

Jungkook smirks devilishly, "Cause if you don't..."
