The Call
The truck pulled out of the fire house and moved out onto the street. The sirens were in play as well as the lights. Rushing through the streets people pulled over to let them through. The suppose fire was at the 4th of Clive street, west of the farmers market. The truck reached the fire hydrant as the blonde woman jumped out with the hydrant bag and wrapped the supply hose around the hydrant and signal the driver to pull 20 feet away. Once that was done she unwrapped it and hooked up the hydrant and waited for the signal to start pump water. As the others did their job to get the hose ready to bring into the building. The signal was called over the radio and the blonde opened the hydrant but slowly so that it wouldn't cause water hammer. A water hammer is where the water builds up and it causes the hydrant to explode. She watched as the water fully filled the hose and it went to the truck the driver which was the Carmel hair colored boy turned on the water tanks and let the water travel to the fire fighters who was holding the nozzle. They tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge so they breached the door and crawled inside and gone up onto the second floor to see the seat of the fire. The second in command looked back at the captain and he nodded. She opened the nozzle to find the right settings to only to sweep back and forth as she started to cool down the fire. Everything was going to plan as they cooled down the air but a window broke open and the fire picked up again and caused a flash and the captain was thrown back as the second in command fell through the floor and the first the floor broke too and she fell to the basement as the roof collapsed trapping her their. She steamed at the top of her lungs as the boards fell onto her legs and her timer went off as she ran low on oxygen.
