CHAPTER SIX, finding the ghosts

(tessa's outfit is the same still as the last two chapters)

When Flynn came back to the garage, the three girls went to Trevor Wilson's house since Julie and Tessa knew that's where the boys would have gone. Tessa was worried. She didn't know if the boys could be visible to Trevor because of the fact they used to know each other, and she didn't know what they would do with how mad they all were. She just hoped that she, Julie, and Flynn stopped the boys before they did anything bad.

Climbing over the security gate was not something Tessa enjoyed. But she, Julie, and Flynn eventually made it to the Wilson's house. Julie is the one to press the doorbell and a few seconds later Carrie is the one to open the door.

"Hey." The three girls spoke, sheepishly smiling at Carrie.

Carrie furrows her eyebrows. "What are you three doing here? How'd you get over the security gate?"

"Not easily." Tessa mumbled, rubbing her shoulder that she had fell on once she got over the gate.

"Teamwork!" Julie responds. She chuckles. "Do you have a band-aid? The barbed wire's new."

Carrie sighs, looking at the three girls with annoyance. "What do you want?"

"Uh...Just thought that you should know that Julie's and Tessa's band is playing at the dance tonight." Flynn replied and the other two girls nodded in agreement.

"Yep." Tessa smiled nervously.

Julie chuckles awkwardly. "Now you know."

"You guys are acting weirder than usual." Carrie remarked.

Julie nods. "Probably because we're thirsty."

Tessa nods in agreement, going along with Julie's plan. "Yeah," She sheepishly smiles at Carrie, rubbing the back of her neck. "Climbing over a security gate takes a lot out of you."

"Can we come in for a glass of water?" Julie asked.

"Ugh!" Carrie rolls her eyes. "Fine, if it'll make you leave faster." She steps to the side, letting the three girls inside. She points at the three girls, speaking in a stern voice. "Don't break anything!"

As Carrie walks away to the kitchen Tessa assumes, she, Julie, and Flynn went in the other direction in search for the boys. Tessa noticed some platinum records hanging on the wall and she frowned, feeling bad for the boys since she now knew Trevor stole their songs. She turned her attention to Julie to see she and Flynn had walked further into the living room area.

"Where are you?" Julie questioned in a quiet tone.

"I'm...I'm right here."

Tessa furrows her eyebrows, turning in the direction she heard that familiar voice. Her eyes widen, letting out a startled yelp and put a hand over her fast beating heart when she saw Nick laying on the couch. She nor the other two girls didn't know he would be here. They should've known that since he's Carrie's boyfriend. She smiled nervously as she calmed down, walking over to stand by her two best friends who chuckled awkwardly.

"Nick!" Julie points at the blonde-haired boy, glancing at Flynn and Tessa. "Look, you guys, it's Nick." She looks back at Nick with a smile. "Nickster, Nicky-poo, Nick-a-licious." Her eyes widen upon realizing what she was saying and she glances at her two best friends with panic. "Make it stop." She whispered to them.

Flynn nods and smiles at Nick. "Hey! Glad you're here, Nicky-poo. We wanted to tell you that Julie's and Tessa's band is playing at the dance."

Nick smiles. "Oh, yeah. No." He nods as he sits up straighter. "I...I saw your post."

"These girls bothering you, babe?" Carrie questioned, walking into the living room with two glasses of water. She handed the two glasses to Julie and Flynn and then went back to the kitchen to get the other glass of water and handed it to Tessa.

"No, just telling us about the dance tonight." Nick replied.

"Right." Carrie nods. "J.T. and their hologram band are playing."  She chuckles, glancing at Julie and Tessa curiously. "How'd you two learn how to do all that hologram stuff anyway?"

Julie and Tessa share a slightly panicked look as Carrie went to sit beside Nick on the couch. "The internet." Julie finally came up with an answer and Tessa quickly nodded in agreement, both girls looking at Carrie and Nick with nervous expressions.

"Yeah." Tessa shrugs, awkwardly smiling. "I mean, the internet is more than just makeup tips."

Carrie had stop before she sat down on the couch, looking at Tessa with offense. Tessa apologetically smiled, rubbing the back of her neck. "Uh...What do you...What do you say, babe?" Nick stammered out a question, glancing at Carrie with a small smile.

Carrie sits down beside him and shrugs. "Sure. Let's check out the hologram show." She leaned back against the couch with Nick, who wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"Great." Nick smiles and looks at the three girls in front of him and Carrie. "Um, I'll make sure all my buddies are there."

"Ooh!" Carrie grins. "How exciting." She looks at Julie and Tessa, her grin falling as she shakes her head. "That's a lot of people staring at you girls."

Tessa narrows her eyes at Carrie and after seeing the sad look on Julie's face she glares at the light brunette-haired girl. She wanted to punch Carri e at that moment for making Julie upset. "Okay," She dramatically says, pointing at Carrie as she continues to glare at the light brunette-haired girl. "That was comment was highly uncalled for!"

Carrie purses her lips together, seeming to be unphased by Tessa. She tilts her head to the side, forcing a smile as she looks at the three girls. "You girls remember where the door is, right?"

"Yeah." Julie chuckled, leaning over a bit which meant she spilled some of her water in the process. Flynn and Tessa looked at her with a bit of surprise, not expecting her to do that. Tessa then nodded in realization, realizing she probably did that to distract Carrie and Nick so one of them could go look for the boys.

"Wow, Jules, you're so clumsy." Tessa fakes a laugh, leaning her elbow on Julie's shoulder, pretending to accidentally spill some of hr water. She pretends to act shocked as she glances at Carrie and Nick. "Oh, well, look at that! I'm clumsy too." She apologetically smiles. "Really sorry about that."

Tessa figured Flynn must've realized Julie's plan as well because she had looked at Carrie and Nick with an apologetic expression. "I am so sorry!" Julie apologized.

When Carrie goes to get up, Tessa stops her. "No, wait!" She said a bit more urgent than she meant to sound which made Carrie and Nick look at her with confusion while Flynn and Julie sent her a small glare. A sheepish expression forms on Tessa's face as she looks back at Carrie and Nick. "I mean, let me and Julie go get the towels. I'm bringing her with me 'cause she knows where the towels are."

She nervously chuckles, going over to set her glass on the coffee table. She awkwardly smiles at Carrie and Nick. "Just gonna put this there 'cause I might spill more on the way to get towels."

Julie hands her glass to Flynn and the two girls left the living room. After Tessa made sure it was clear, she let Julie lead the way and she followed Julie up the stairs. They both figured that the boys were up stairs. They didn't see them anywhere on the main floor of the house.

"Guys!" Julie whisper-yells. "For your sake you better not be up here!"

"Yeah, you guys." Tessa whispers as well and glances at Julie. She grimaces, leaning back a bit because she was a bit scared by how mad Julie looked. "I've never seen her this mad before."

After looking up stairs for a few moments and no luck with finding the boys they went back down stairs. They both looked at Flynn, gesturing for her they were going to check outside. Flynn sat down on the couch right between Carrie and Nick, showing a picture on her phone to distract them which allowed Julie and Tessa to get to the back deck where the helipad for the helicopter is at.

Tessa was relieved to find the boys okay, but she was also upset with them for coming here.  And she assumed that the boys were mooning Trevor because of the fact they were now buttoning their pants. She had a wide-eyed expression when she walked out with Julie and even covered her eyes. She peeked out between her fingers to check if they were decent and upon seeing that they were she lowered her hand and crossed her arms.

"Did you guys have fun in there?" Julie asked, crossing her arms and looked at the boys with a glare.

Luke points at her and Tessa. "Okay, you'd do the exact same if he stole all your songs."

"But you have new songs." Julie reminds him and the boys. She gestures to herself and Tessa. "With us. The best way to get back at Trevor is for this band to do great. And to do great, we have to play at dances, then clubs."

Luke moves forward so he was now standing in front of Julie. He nods and sighs. "And tours. I know."

"We have to go set up, but we'll see you guys there at nine sharp." Tessa speaks up in a stern voice, pointing at the three boys. "That means you boys better be there on time."

Reggie smiles at her. "We will, Tess. Don't worry."

Tessa smiles, ignoring the way her heart flutters at hearing him call her that nickname. "Yeah," Julie agrees with Tessa and looks at the three boys with a pleading expression. "Please don't be late. There's gonna be a lot of people there."

"All counting on us to preform." Tessa added.

"We got it, alright?" Alex assures her and Julie. He nods and smiles a bit. "Like Reggie said, don't worry."

Julie sighs and walks back to the door. Tessa stayed back though, looking at the three boys with worried eyes. "You guys will be there on time, right?"

"Of course we will, Tessa." Luke reassures her. He smiles at her. "We promise we'll be there. This is important to you and Julie so it's important to us."

Tessa glances at Alex and Reggie for confirmation, her lips forming into a smile when they both look at her with smiles and nod. "Okay," She looks back at Luke with the smile still on her lips. "Great. We will see you there."
