"Finally I got a Way Out,
Finally, we can be together..."

Its been a week since that morning. We were back to our usual lives. He would come home at night and we ended up talking the entire night or watched movies cuddled up in a blanket. We decided to not tell anyone until we find a way out. It was for the best because only Shane, Bryon, Noah, and I knew about the contract. So no one except Bryon and Noah knows we are back together. On the other hand, Shane was getting used to Noah. It was hard for Shane to get used to him knowing we did go on dates. It will take time for him to get used to it but he will be fine. We were having a lovely time together and it made me concern a bit. Considering our track record something always went wrong when everything was perfect. It scared me a little that something will go wrong now that things are fine. I hope not. For now, I will enjoy every moment of this. I don't want to waste my time worrying about it. Speaking of him he is calling.
"Hello there."

Shane

"Where are you?"

Skyler

"I am in my office."

Shane

"You wait there. I am on my way there."

Skyler

"Ok fine."
He sounded happy. I wonder what it is that he has to say that can't wait. Great! Now I am curious.

"Oh yeah. I completely forgot. You have a meeting at the coffee shop downstairs. We need to go now."

Skyler

"Like now."

Scarlet

"Yes.Now now. Hurry up."

Skyler

"Fine. You go ahead. I am coming."
I have to tell Shane to come back later or better we meet at home. I call Shane and he picks up.

Shane

"I am ten minutes to your office."

Skyler

"Shane, I have a meeting at the coffee shop downstairs. Can we meet later?"

Shane

"I promise I won't take long, Sky."

Scarlet

"We are late, Skyler."

Skyler

"A minute, Scarlet. We can talk over dinner."

Shane

"No, I will be waiting there. I can't wait to tell you."

Skyler

"You sound happy and it makes me curious but I will wait. See you there."

Shane

After that, I went to the coffee shop and looked around for her, and I spot her. She was sitting on one of the tables by the big glass window. I sat in one of the nearby tables from where I could look at her. I was waiting for her meeting to end. She was discussing something with her client but I was looking at her. She looked at me from the corner of the eye and smiled. I am so proud of her. How she built up her company on her own and in such a short span of time. She is determined in doing things she wants and I loved that about her. I had to wait for two hours but I didn't complain because I had the best view in the world. I was looking at her the whole time and can I say how hot and sexy she looked in her formal outfit with those glasses on. I said this earlier too but I can't say enough. Throughout the meeting, she described things to her client and sneaked in a smile
whenever she got the chance. After two hours they stood up and shook hands. They looked happy and I am sure she will get the deal. She waited for them to go and then she walked over to me.

Skyler

"Now tell me what is it that you have to say?"

Shane

"I found a way out of the contract."

Skyler

"What? That's amazing..."
Shane lifted me up and twirled me around in the air. We didn't care everyone was watching because at that moment that didn't matter. Finally, he can get out of that forced marriage with Emily. I hugged him when he let me down and then we sat down at the table ordering coffees. My happiness had no barrier to listening to this news.

Shane

"Finally we can be together without anything between us."

Skyler

"I know."
I couldn't stop smiling and it was visible.
"What happens next?"

Shane

"The contract clearly says that the contract stands to cancel when either one of the two is cheating. Well, I found out that she is cheating on me with two people."

Skyler

"I am so sorry."

Shane

"Why should I feel something about this? We should be happy."

Skyler

I couldn't help it. I burst into laughter and laugh till my stomach hurts. They were tears in my eyes because I was laughing so hard.
"She is your wife and you just found out she was cheating on you."

Shane

"I can't really understand you sometimes."

Skyler

"Come on, cheer up. If this wasn't funny tell me why are you smiling?"

Shane

"To see you laughing and happy."

Skyler

"Just a little more time after we will be together again."

Shane

"I can't wait at all Sky but tell me what's bothering you now?"

Skyler

"It's nothing. I am just overthinking things."

Shane

"Sky, Tell me. I can see you are worried about something."

Skyler

"Is it that visible?"

Shane

"It's all written on your face. I can read it clearly."

Skyler

"It's just everything is so perfect. We both are so happy. It scares me that something will go wrong."
Shane holds my hand and gave it a little squeeze flashing a huge smile on his face which made all my worries go away and I was no longer worried.

Shane

"Everything will be fine. Now that we have found a way out of the contract. We don't have anything to worry about."
