I didn't know when I drifted off to sleep but after so long I slept so peacefully. When I woke up early morning Skyler was still asleep.

I took a pillow and place it in my place so that she doesn't feel that I am gone. I slowly let go of her hand and then glanced at her. I sat on my knees admiring her face. She was smiling in her sleep sleeping like a baby. Watching her sleep was the best thing. I gently stroke her hair placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Again I am here when you are asleep and probably cannot hear me like the day you were at the hospital. If you want to know about me. I feel the same. Every day is dreading without you. I cannot sleep, I cannot eat. I just sit in my cabin looking at your photo for hours. There hasn't been a minute when I don't think of you. There isn't anything that reminds me of you. Every time I drink coffee or pass by your cabin or when I visit our home I think of you. Every time I visit the beach I miss you and wish none of this happened. We would have been together. I cannot stay away from you yet I have to and it breaks me that I cannot do anything about it. It hurts me that you think I left you for Emily when its exactly been the opposite. I left you for you...Remember when I told you that I will always be with you even if I am not with you. I have always been by your side as I promised. Whether it was the first deal of your company or when you brought your house. I was always there even if you didn't know I was. I am sorry and I still love you and will always love you but you have to move on. It's for the best that you don't know the truth."

I wipe the tear with the sleeve of my shirt as I kissed her hand. I went down and made some breakfast for her leaving a note along in the dining table and then locking the door I went back home.

I woke up the next morning with Shane no longer beside me. Did I really asked him to stay the night? Was I dreaming? No, it cannot be.

I remember him holding me in his arms. I remember having to smell him touch him. It was real...

He did stay the night. I look at myself and see myself in Shane's hoodie. I clutched it. It smelt of him and it felt like he was here. He helped me change last night. I love this and obviously, I am taking this home with me.

It's already morning and everyone must be worrying about me and where is Shane? I was a hundred percent sure that last night was not a dream. He comforted me to sleep and he was here with me. He will deny it and say he was in the other room when I will ask but I know.

I go downstairs in search of him where the smell of pancakes filled the room. I take a look at the kitchen but he was not here. I walk to the dining table and find pancakes along with whipped cream and berries with a mug of black coffee. There was also a note. I opened it.

Slept well. It was after so long I slept so peacefully in your arms. Now I will eat pancakes. Uhm.Delicious. As soon as I take a bite all the memories flow in.

It was after so long I ate something made by him and I missed it. This is so so delicious. After I eat my pancakes I decide to go home. As soon as I step out I see Bryon was already outside in his car.
"Are you fine? I am here to drop you home."

"Shane sent you here." I wonder sometimes how thoughtful he can be."Kinda, he is busy at work."

"Let's go." After Bryon dropped me home. Noah bombarded me with the questions."Will you let me breathe? I just came back now."
I stroll my way to the kitchen and take a glass. Noah passes me a bottle of water and I pour it.
"You disappeared suddenly. Bryon came and told me about everything."

"I am fine." I put an end to the conversation. There were a lot of things on my mind now and I didn't want to talk about it to anyone until I am sure. Luckily, Noah didn't push me further.
"Good because we have to pack."

"Why?"

He playfully hits my head."You forgot. We are going to Switzerland tomorrow." It slipped my mind completely. Not the trip. I forgot we leaving tomorrow. I was too excited to forget it."Everyone is coming right?"

"Me, You, Scarlet, Daphne, Rainer, and Jake." He replies taking out cereal from the shelves and milk from the fridge. He sits down at the table to eat.

"I hope everything works." I think and Noah shot his head at me.
"What works?" I didn't realize I said that out loud. He cannot know now. I shook my head in response."Nothing. That's for me to find out and I will find out tomorrow."

Next Morning

"I am so ready for this." Rainer exclaimed. I was excited to go too. It's been a long time since the all of us went on a trip together and everytime we made plans. It was cancelled one reason or the other. It was after long when everyone could join the trip.

"Thanks to Skyler and our respective bosses who granted us a leave. I can't wait to ski and travel in this private jet." Jake bows and everyone bow copying him and I smile. Anything for my friends.

"True. Happens once in a while. I can't wait to show my new winter wear." Daphne said. She was the fashionista of the group. Fashion trouble and Daphne to the rescue.
"Let's go now."

After a seven hour flight, we all reached Switzerland. Before landing, everyone changed into warmer clothes and as soon as we got off. The cool breeze set everyone chilling. It was refreshing. I put my hands in my pockets to warm myself. The car was already waiting to take us to our hotel.

I had done the reservations earlier.
We reached the hotel after a hour ride. Jake and Rainer entered the hotel quickly as they sat near the fireplace. I laughed. Daphne and Scarlet started clicking photos. I swear they never get tired of clicking photos. It's never enough.

I look at Noah who had the same expression on his face and we both shared a laugh. We walked up to the receptionist and she handed us the keys to the room.

Noah assembled everyone to the center. I handed over the keys to everyone. "Scarlet and Daphne will share a room. Noah, Jake, and Rainer will take one and I will take one."

"You get your own individual room while we three have to share. That's unfair." Rainer argues but it will go in vain for I am not sharing a room with anyone. I prefer being alone in my room.

Scarlet says the boys."Don't ask her any questions. She doesn't allow anyone to stay in her room."

"I don't like sharing rooms with anyone." As I talk with my friends, more like argue about our room arrangement, my attention falls on the person sitting on the couch reading the newspaper. He immediately takes his eyes off us when I see him.

"Fine, we get it." They gave up. There was no point because I wasn't going to budge. I can be really stubborn.

"What's the plan next?" Jake asked.

"Today we can rest after the long flight we had. We have all our activities for tomorrow." Tomorrow is gonna be a fun day. I have many things planned for us.

"Let's freshen up and meet up at dinner." Noah said and we all walked towards our rooms.

My room was at the end of the hallway and everyone settled in their rooms. I head out and the man from the couch stood up too following me. He thinks I haven't noticed. I unlock my door and go inside closing the door behind me and he stands outside the door. I open the door and hold his hand by his wrist pulling him in and then pushing him to the wall in front of me. He was trapped...
