«Flynn's POV»

I hopped into the drivers seat after opening the door for her.

Oh yes, the chivalry was strong with this one.

She gave me directions to the house, and I started the twenty minute drive there. "So, what school do you go to?" I tried to make small talk.

"Same as you." She replied shortly.

"Really? How come I haven't seen you before?" I asked. But seriously. This girl was gorgeous with her auburn hair and stormy gray eyes.

"I dunno," She replied. "I'm actually a cheerleader there."

"Oh," I grinned and winked at her. "I like cheerleaders."

Okay, so maybe my chivalry mode was deactivated then.

"Yeah, well, that doesn't mean cheerleaders like you." She fired back. But I just smiled my trademark smirk. I'm the type of guy who fights fire with fire.

"If I could rearrange the alphabet," I started.

"You'd put U and I together." Madeline finished--as predicted.

"No...well, I'd use those letters, but more in this order: U R A B I T C H."

I loved those things.

She scowled deeply at me. "You must be from Yukon, because Yukon go screw yourself."

"OOH BURNNNN!" I yelled. "Somebody get me some ice for that burn! Ouch!"

"You only annoy me when you're breathing, Flynn." She said.

"I think you're supposed to be applying ice, not more heat to the burn. Are you trying to scar me for life?" I played around.

"Me? Never!" She exclaimed, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Gaige was right. This girl was going to be hard to win over. You see, my friends and I had placed a bet that I couldn't win her over in less than one month.

Me? Im going to prove them wrong.
