I hate that feeling.

That feeling that you care.

You get my hopes up,

only to let them down in the end.

Im used to this feeling.

I should know better,

it happens all the time.

But, I always fall for it.

Because I have hope for better times.

who spoke those words.

One of the many 

who spoke an empty promise.
