"I am so confused, why is the queen, er, my mom planning a party? We told her about Atlas." Maya asked Nile through a door as she changed into a dress that her mother had given her "And she said she'd do something 'bout it."

"She's just happy." Nile began "Her daughter found her way home."

Maya opened the door and swam out a mask in her hand, "How do I look?" She asked "I've never thought I looked good in lavender..."

"No yeah you look great." Nile smiled, his face slightly red "I think you look amazing."

"Aw, thank you Nile." She grinned "You look nice too."

Maya put on her mask and swam off down the hall, leaving Nile by himself. He sighed "Darn it."

Maya followed her mother towards the ball room. "The whole kingdom has been invited, including the mermaid royal family."

"Fuuuuun..." Maya mumbled as she peeked through the door "That's a looooot of people."

"Okay, are you ready to meet all the people of Atlantis?"

Maya took a breath. "Yes." The two swam out into the ballroom, and after a while, Maya had found her way to the food table. "Ooooh, how the heck did they make pizza rolls in the ocean?" She questioned as she snatched one and ate it. "The heck, that's not great value brand pizza rolls!" She grabbed another one "It's really frickin' good." She floated there and ate pizza rolls for nearly ten minutes. "Ooooh, tiny hotdogs!"

"Maya, do you wanna dance?" A voice asked from behind Maya, she turned as she ate a tiny hotdog, Nile

"Sure." Nile took her hand and they swam out into the middle of the room. Music played gently as the two danced until the lights went out

"What in the world?" Someone next to Maya questioned

Something, or someone grabbed Maya's wrist. She screeched as she pulled her hand away from it. A ball of light appeared in her hand, a tentacle. A black tentacle. "Nile." Maya started, her eyes wide "Nile, it's here!"

"Everyone evacuate!" Nile yelled, knowing what Maya ment "The Kraken!"

People screamed and chaos ensued around Maya and Nile. "Nile, you get as many people as you can out of here."

"What about you?"

"I'll be fine go." Maya insisted as she readied herself to fight

"I'm not leaving you." Nile summoned his spear.

"Nile, I already lost someone today, I don't want to lose anyone else."

"I lost someone too Maya, and I don't want to lose you."

"We don't have time for this. Go. Now."
Nile frowned "Maya, I've lost enough people already, I'm not gonna lose you too."

"Nile, please." Maya threw a ball of light at a tentacle "Go."

"The only way I'm leaving is if you come with me."

"Fine, let's get out of here." Maya grabbed Nile's hand and pulled him towards the door.

"Thank goodness." Nile said before Maya pushed him through the door and quickly closed it behind him "Maya! No!"

Maya locked the door "My uncle. My problem." She held up a ball of light in her hand "Hey, Kraken! I heard you hated the day!" Maya yelled as she made another ball of light. "Holy crap it worked." She mumbled "I, I mean... Uh..." She held up the two orbs of light. "Have some daylight!" The two orbs of light merged together, and light flooded the room. The Kraken sunk out of the ballroom through a door on the other side of the room, "That must be how that thing got in." Maya muttered. A girl with a cloak floated in the center of the room "Who-"

"It's a shame, Lord Atlas would have been happy to have you on his side." The girl said as she floated towards Maya "And it's a shame that his niece won't have a chance to join him."

"M!" Another girl yelled from a balconey "We don't have time for that, I've got the crown, let's go!"

"Not yet."

"Medusa!, Let's go! Atlas awaits his crown!"

Maya created another ball of light, threw it at Medusa and swam towards the girl who claimed to have the crown "That crown belongs to Atlantis!" She shouted as she tackled the girl.

"Medusa! Stop being blind and help me!" The girl yelled.

Maya wrestled with the girl with the crown "I'll get Mars!" Medusa yelled as she swam to the door.

"Medusa! Get back here you twit!"

"Maya!" Someone yelled as Maya continued to wrestle.

"Nile, stay back!" Maya shouted at him.

"Maya, I swear you're gonna get yourself killed!" The dark haired merman swam towards the two wrestling sirens, he grabbed the thief's bag "There, I got the crown."

"How'd you get in?"

"The not very smart thief opened the door, got caught by some guards and let me in."

Maya rolled her eyes as two guards swam up to the balcony "We'll take her your highness." One guard nodded as he grabbed the thief by the arm.

"Thank you." Maya sighed as she let go of the siren. "Did the kraken knock the food tables over?"

Nile rose an eyebrow "No? Why?"

"I'm starving." Maya smiled as she swam down to the tables "Aw man, they're out of pizza rolls and tiny hot dogs."
