[2] Brothers & Sisters
《Bellamy》
It was everything we read about in books.
The trees, the air, the smell...
I'm not even supposed to be here, yet this is amazing.
"It's like a dream..." Octavia said as we continued to admire everything, the others exploring the land around them.
"Yeah," I chuckled with a smile.
"I need you to be honest, Bell.... How are you here?" Octavia asked.
I sighed as I looked down before suddenly hearing bickering.
"Relax," Wells Jaha spoke as he faced some of the delinquents, Clarke Griffin next to him. "We're just trying to figure out where we are."
"We're on the ground," I said out loud, getting everyone's attention. "That not good enough for you?"
Wells just sighed as Clarke followed.
"We need to find Mount Weather," he said. "You heard my father's message. That has to be our first priority."
"Screw your father," Octavia snapped.
I looked at Octavia before looking at Wells, who seemed confused.
"What?" she asked. "You think you're in charge here? You and your little princess?"
I snickered quietly.
"Do you think we care who's in charge?" Clarke asked her sternly. "We need to get to Mount Weather. Not because the Chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get, and the harder this'll be."
We all looked around as she continued.
"How long do you think we'll last without those supplies?" She asked. "We're looking at a 20-mile trek, okay? So if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave now."
I rolled my eyes. "I got a better idea," I said. "You two go, find it for us. Let the privileged do the hard work for a change."
"Yeah!" Everyone around shouted in agreement.
"You're not listening," Wells said. "We all need to go."
Suddenly a guy, John Murphy I think was his name, came up and pushed Wells from behind.
"Look at this everybody," he smirked. "The Chancellor of Earth!"
We all laughed as then Wells turned around.
"Think that's funny?" Wells snapped as then Murphy kicked his bad leg, knocking him down.
"Wells!" Clarke shouted, running to help him before someone stopped her.
Wells struggled to sit up as Murphy walked around him as someone cheered him on.
"No, but that was," he chuckled.
Wells then managed to get back up.
"Alright," Murphy said as they both stood their ground.
"Come on, come on," Murphy encouraged as Wells got ready to fight when suddenly, somebody jumps down from a platform on the dropship, right between Wells and Murphy, making us all go quiet.
That's when I realized it was the Spacewalker.
"Kid has got one leg," he told Murphy. "How about you wait until it's a fair fight?"
Murphy kept a still face before backing up, then Octavia stepped forward.
"Hey, Spacewalker," she called out, standing in front of him. "Rescue me next."
Finn just smiled before walking off, and I frowned and walked over to Octavia as everyone dispersed, knowing the show was over.
I then crossed my arms and gave her a look.
"What? He's cute," she shrugged.
"He's a criminal," I said to her.
"They're all criminals," she sassed.
I sighed in frustration.
"Look, O," I said, grabbing her arm and leading her away so nobody could hear. "I came down here to protect you."
"I don't need protecting," she snapped, snatching her arm away. "I have been locked up one way or another all my life. I am done following orders."
I sighed and looked down.
"I need to have fun, Bell," she said. "I need to just do something crazy, just because I can, and no one, including you, is gonna stop me."
I have to tell her.
"I can't stay with them, O," I blurted out.
She sighed, frustrated. "Now what are you talking about?"
I gulped before looking around to make sure no one was listening, then took her arm to lead her a little further away just to be safe.
"I did something, okay, to get on the drop ship," I explained. "Something that they will kill me for when they come down."
Octavia looked at me, confused and slightly shocked.
"I can't say what is is just yet, but you have to trust me," I said. "You do still trust me, don't you?"
She was quiet, but then nodded. "Yeah..."
*meanwhile*
《Freya》
Lincoln and I soon hurried past the trees until we arrived to the village, Anya spotting us as she groomed her horse, then seeming upset when she saw us. Indra walked behind her.
I climbed off of Athena's back, walking up to her, Lincoln behind me as Anya stormed over to meet us.
"Freya," she snapped. "Lincoln."
"Fou yu biyo chit yu souda biyo, oso saw em," I said, pointing to the sky as soldiers surrounded. (Before you say what you have to say, we saw it.)
She stopped and squinted at us. "En? chit was em?" (And? What was it?)
"Skaikru...." I said. "None laik stedaunon" (Sky people... None are dead...)
Anya and Indra looked at each other.
"There are hundreds of them.... Warriors, most likely," I said out loud.
"Ai na gyon au lom op Heda," Indra said to Anya. (I will go warn the Commander).
Anya nods as Indra motions to a warrior and they both head towards the stables.
"Seda... Chit dula op Oso dula op?" I asked Anya. (Teacher... What do we do?)
"For now, watch them... Hopefully they don't plan to do anything that endangers our people," she said. "I'm enlisting you and Lincoln to spy on them."
I nodded, and then I spot a familiar face come up.
"Freya," he said with relief and slight annoyance.
I sighed as I walked over to Nyko, who had a bag with him, meaning he was going on some runs.
"Brother," I said as he stood over me. He's a lot taller than I am, considering I'm very short.
"I warned you of venturing alone," he scolded.
Ai laik fiya, Nyko. Ai don dula nou mean gon get daun yu," I said. (I'm sorry, Nyko... I did not mean to worry you.)
The mountain men took our parents when Nyko and I were younger. Since then, Nyko has always been protective of me. Even when I make trips to Polis he gets worried, despite the Mountain Men never really setting foot there.
He sighed and just placed his palm on the side of my face.
"I forget how you're like our mother, wanting to see something new everyday," he said.
I smiled sadly at him, looking down a little.
"Just please, be careful, especially now with this potential threat," he said.
"You too," I said, holding his hand. "Ai hod yu in, bro..." (I love you, brother...)
He smiled. "Ai hod yu in seintaim, strisis," he said. (I love you, too, little sister...)
I smiled as then Anya came up to me.
"Freya, you, Artigas and Tris are on first watch," She said.
"Anya," Nyko begged, but I stopped him.
"It's alright, Nyko. We'll be alright," I assured him. "Go... there are people who need more medicine in TonDc. We'll be alright."
He sighed and nodded, then knelt down to where his bag was, and pulled out my mask as Artigas and Tris walked over to us.
"You forgot it again," Nyko said.
I chuckled and took it. "Mochof," I said, pulling it on as Tris and Artigas did the same. (Thank you.)
(Picture: Example of Freya's Grounder mask)
I may be a second, but if I was at Anya's level, Tris and Artigas would have been my seconds. Tris is already Anya's, but I would still trust both her and Artigas with my life.
I nodded before turning to Tris and Artigas."Kom op ona," I said, and we headed to our horses, making sure we had our weapons before taking off. (Come on.)
"Freya," Artigas called, making me look over. "Chit are Skaikru like?" (What are the Sky people like?)
Tris also looked over at me as she rode next to me.
I sighed as I pulled my mask down. "Emo get daun ai... Krei yu tu, nou gyon au far." (They worry me... So you two, don't go far.)
They nodded as we rode back to where the ship landed.
I really am hoping that the sky people don't cause any problems...
