Training Fun
Chris pressed the ground button where the training room was located, his eyes then switching over to his dragon friend who was currently singing quietly to herself as she danced to the words she was sounding.
"You're in a good mood." Commented Chris as he leaned back, watching as the numbers flashed by.
Kayla nodded response not taking a break from her current performance.
"Are you going to tell me why...?"
She just shrugged, not bothering to answer causing Chris to shake his head. The doors opened allowing the two to exit, a few silhouettes spotted a little bit away from them as they too headed over to the training facility.
Occupying the plant section was Katrina, Sarina and Donnie. The cyborg and the turtle mutant watching the human girl as her tea brown hands moving frantically between each of the icons that popped up, her mocha brown eyes squinting upon concentration.
"Nearly there Kat." Said Donnie in a soft tone as he watch her try and complete the task. Unfortunately for her, she managed to mess up the second time during her session causing the 'game' to close down on her. She huffed upon reaction, not so happy about it.
"Darn it!" She complained. "I was just about to get the hang of it too!"
"Not to worry." Said Sarina, placing her hand on the shorter girl's shoulder, "you'll complete it. It just takes practice. May I?"
Katrina nodded, taking a step back so that the cyborg could have a go. She then stood next to Donnie who was watching the white haired girl rather intently making a smirk tug on Kat's lips.
"Why don't you ask her if she wants to ally with us?"
"She's busy rightt now." Said Donnie in a low tone, not wanting to distract her, "plus she's part of the careers. There's no chance of her joining us."
"Who cares about the careers? She can still-"
"Katrina, please. If she joins us instead of the careers, don't you think they would target us? They would see it as betrayal."
The girl sighed, deciding that she would let it go for now, "fine, fine." She said, her eyes now going over the happenings in the room.
On one side of the room was Coral, her hands attached to a bow and arrow that she was having a go at. She pulled the bowstring back, it being rather close to her face before she released it sending the arrow through the air. It zipped through, landing on the chest target, a rather satisfied smile blossoming on her face.
Meanwhile on the other side Kayla flew around, trying her best to get through all the obstacles in the set amount of time. A rather content smile rested on her face, enjoying how the air ran through her hair and how her wings spread out, keeping her afloat. Sadly for her, the peacefulness was cut short as some mishaps happened.
Chris was being shoved up against the wall, the task of breathing becoming difficult for him as Cyn had her forearm pressing deep into his throat- her eyes wide to show the craziness that lived in them.
"Oh what's wrong? Are you scared of me? Huh? You fear me?" She watched as Chris clawed at her arm trying so desperately to get her off of him. Her lips started to twitch into a smirk, a bubble of laughter being formed as she continued to witness the mutant's poor attempts.
"You're so pathetic." She seethed, pressing in deeper, "you're so weak. So useless, you're not going to be any fun at all! I should just get rid of you. Save everyone else from-"
"Hey!" Shouted out Kayla, landing onto the ground. She marched up over to the two, the peacefulness she was feeling before now gone, "let him go Cyn! He didn't do anything."
But did the older girl hear her request? Nope, for she applied more preassure- more choking sounds coming from the dingo mutant as he struggled to breath. Spots began to appear in his vision, his head starting to feel light.
"Hey, didn't you hear me? I said let him go!" Kayla grabbed ahold of Cyn's arm- the need of pulling her back was in her mind however she wasn't able to do such a thing for Cyn turned around, sending a quick and powerful punch into Kayla's face. A loud crack, cutting through the air now grabbing ahold of everyone else's attention.
The dragon girl stumbled back, her hands now clutching her nose as a steady stream of blood crawled it's way down her face, leaving behind a scarlet trail. Chris had dropped to all fours, coughs erupting from his person as he got oxygen back into his lungs. Cyn then made a approached Kayla, no longer caring for the dingo mutant behind her.
She slowly curled her hand into a fist, drawing it back so that she could make another mark on the girl in front of her. And she would have done it too if it weren't for David stepping in.
"Did you forget what I said yesterday? I said no mucking around!" He snapped, glaring coolly at Cyn. The attacker just crossed her arms, giving the trainer her own glare.
"If I see you attacking anyone I'll be sure to make you regret it." Seethed David tearing his eyes away from her so that he could help Kayla with her bleeding nose.
Coral slipped away from her station and slowly approached Chris, crouching down to see how badly in shape he was.
"Hey are you okay?" She whispered, looking rather concern for the mutant's well being. Chris just nod, tentatively touching his throat.
As Coral continued to ensure the dingo's well being Cyn looked around the whole area, noticing how all their eyes were glued onto her and the pair behind her. A breathless laugh escape her lips as she took in how stun some of them look, finding it quite hilarious.
"Aw, have I scare you all?" She teased now quite giddy. No one answered, making her snicker as she turned around. Grabbing a hold of a nearby metal bat as she started to walk to the next station- mentally checking off one of the many goals she had set herself.
