Slowly Getting There
A rather stern expression had settled over Cyn's face, her eyes basically glaring at the screen as she watched the reapings happen, as she watch people getting selected to fight. She had to figure out a plan, a strategy of what she would do in the games. Would she join in on the bloodbath or would she play it safe and run elsewhere? Should she put on some sort of show or should she be quick with her kills? She had already figured out at least two people that she would want to kill, believing that they were rather weak and have no chance in the games anyways. And she had already figure out how she would want to do it, but the real question is... Would anyone expect it?
Would anyone expect the methods she chose? Would anyone expect the decisions that she might make? Probably, and probably not.
The thing is, she wanted to do something different. She wanted to put everyone on the edges of their seats, want them to keep on guessing and guessing and still not figure anything out. She couldn't quite understand why she wanted to do this sort of thing, why should she care anyways? It can't be because her whole district expects her to do something so wild and strange. ...could it?
Her lips turned into a scowl as she thought of that word- expect. It felt like bile in her mouth, poison in her mind. She hated that word. Hated it, hated it, hated it. The very idea of expectations was enough to make her mad.
Oh oops, she already was.
While Cyn was concentrating on the words she despised and a plan of action Destiny had removed herself from her room in order to obtain some food. She had made it her priority to keep her distance from her tribute partner, something just didn't seem right about that girl to Destiny. Even now as she cast a glance over to Cyn's relaxed form, a lazy smile on her face with the scars that covered her arms gleaming in the light.
Upon seeing those scars Destiny couldn't help but reach her own scars that ran over her right eye, the skin there still feeling slightly tender. Her mind cast itself back to the fight that she had gained her scars, remembering that leopard mutant as clear as day. Destiny felt hatred for what the mutant had did to her, however before she could be submerge with her negative thoughts she shook her head to be rid of them. It's not the time to be thinking about something so petty and small when she's got bigger stuff to worry about.
She scooped up an apple, running a thumb over it's smooth surface as she looked over to the windows seeing that they had now entered the Capitol. She walked over to it, seeing interesting hairstyles and crazy outfits- grins covering all of those people's faces as they watch the train roll in. Destiny decided to offer them a small smile and a little wave, something that the Capitol replied to a bit too enthusiastically.
Deciding she had enough, she turned away and walked back to her room, troubled thoughts following her.

Michelangelo had thought that he was dead and had gone up to heaven when he saw all the food that was present. His eyes lit up with joy, a childish grin threatening to split his face into two as he delve into the gorgeous looking food. He began to eat everything he saw, cramming everything in his mouth as he swallowed it- enjoying the flavours that exploded and danced on his tongue.
Coral watched Mikey devouring the food like an animal with wide eyes, finding it hard to believe that he could even eat so much all at once.
"Oh sorry dudette, want a slice?" Mikey offered the fellow mutant of a slice of pepperoni pizza that seemed to be covered not only with the usual essentials but with... Glitter as well. The girl looked at it with slight suspicion not really trusting it, but now wasn't the time to got with what her brain was saying, it was time to go with her gut and her gut was telling her to eat something. So with little hesitation she snatched the slice and gulfed it down, enjoying the greasiness and chessiness of the pizza.
"You don't get that from District eleven." Said Coral, already helping herself to more pizza.
"I think they were trying to make us their slaves." Said Mikey, "by depriving us of all of this food! It's the work of the Illuminati, I'm telling you!"
The wolf-turtle mutant couldn't help but let a little giggle past from her lips, finding it rather funny that the turtle would think that, "what makes you say that?"
"There's only three pieces of pepperoni on each slice of pizza, what else has three somethings? A triangle! And eye is made up of three letters so bam! Illuminati confirmed!"
"You have a really wild imagination."
"Like a turtle do!"
Silence then filled the area as the two mutants continued to eat, enjoying the Capitol's hospitality and all the piquant food they offered.
"You know... I wish we weren't selected." Muttered Mikey now looking at a bowl of icecream with slight sadness shining through his blue eyes.
"That's not really in our control." Shrugged Coral.
"I wish we could still do something dudette... I really wish we could."
