Sequins and drama

First- yes I'm fine now, I appreciate the comments that wished me to get better ^////^ I wasn't quite expecting that response, it was really sweet of you all (which I thank you for)

And second, all the costumes are right there ^^^^ I would just like to say that I am NOT a fashion designer nor have I ever been good at drawing out clothes that are the likes of the capitol. Most of these designs are base off of other drawings so yeah.

Enjoy

After several hours the trains rolled into the capitol, each pair of tributes were greeted by the screams and bright clothing that belonged to the capitol residents. It almost looked as if the whole entire population was there to greet each of these tributes, if it weren't for the fact that all twenty-four of them will be fighting to the death some of them will be finding it slightly humbling thanks to all the attention.

Several people of the crowd tried to reach out and feel parts of each mutant- the fluffiness of their tail/s, their wings and how they were constructed, the build of their shells. Everything.

Sadly for the excited crowd, and thankfiully for the victims- those mutated parts of them were left alone allowing them to reach their new living quarters in little peace that was soon disrupted by the need of having them ready for the lovely tribute parade. Their skin was rubbed raw, if they had fur it was groomed and shampooed more times then necessary, hair was plucked, bodies shoved into ridiculous costumes, feet force into uncomfortable shoes and so much more. When the prep crew was done with each of their districts it was shown that they were all completely transformed.

Thanks to the makeover Sythia's eyes seemed to be on fire due to the colourful stones dotting around that particular area. She looked down at her outfit which consists of a short and sleeveless black top and a rather tight fitting black skirt that went just over her knees. The interesting thing about the outfit though was that it wasn't entirely black, bits of red, orange and yellow peeked out making it appear that she was on fire, that she was a burning coal. Same thing with Leo however he had on a shirt with long sleeves and wore pants that hid his muscular legs.

The bat mutant shifted uncomfortably in her costume, having despised how bright and eye catching it seemed to be. She so badly wanted to brush off the coloured dust that was dotted around her collar bone, neck and torso but she knew the Capitol would only reapply it again and she would be even more unhappy.

Leo too shifted uncomfortably in his suit, wondering what on earth the itchy fabric that was irritating his skin was made from. But all those thoughts instantly diminished as he saw another turtle mutant and a raccoon mutant- if he remembered correctly their names were Raphael and Alex, and Leo could not fight back a smile as he saw their outfits. Alex was decked out in a crop top that seemed to be made up of leaves, she too wore a skirt that looked as if it was made of twigs and branches with berries attached to it. When compared to Raph it was quite obvious who go the better end of the stick- no pun intended. The red masked terrapin was stuck in a costume that made him look like an actual Christmas tree, pine needles stuck all over his body with festive decorations thrown into the mix. And to top it all off there was a ginormous star right on top of his head.

To say he was angry at his current situation would be an understatement.

Wanting to talk to the two of them, Leo walked over, "I didn't know district seven was known for it's holidays."

Raph flashed him a glare, Alex covering her mouth as she continued to laugh at his outfit, "of shut up." He snapped, clearly unhappy and embarrased, "you too." He added casting a look of annoyance in the raccoon's direction.

"Is it me or did Christmas come a few months earlier then it's suppose too?" The three of them turned to face a tribute coming from district eight- Yami Kimoto. She wore a skirt that was spindle of thread, her shirt looking as if it was made entirely of yarn and as if her prep team thought that wasn't enough to indicate which district was from, her black and red hair was done up in such a way that it too appeared to be spindle of thread.

"Well at least I don't look like a kitten's play toy." Snapped Raph, crossing his arms as he too gave her a glare.

A conversation then sprung up from this small group, mainly consisted of complaints about the costumes and what each of them had to go through before they look the way they did. Though that was quickly interrupted as some troubles made themselves known between district five and four, with district six trying to calm it down.

"Okay, okay. Just calm down, what happened?" Said Chris, trying to stop an angry Shelby and Tyler from attacking a laughing Cedric.

"The little twerp groped me!" Snapped Shelby, her blue eyes becoming more piercing as the temperature dropped. She had on a seaweed skirt with fishnet stockings covering her legs, her upper body though was barely covered as she only wore a seashell bra with a a net hanging over it.  On her wrists were bracelets made of pink coral which matched the decorations in her hair, and on her face was a very angry expression.

"It's probably an accident, the kid probably didn't mean it." Said Chris, trying his best to calm the cold loving mutant.

"Oh i meant it!" Laughed the hyena mutant, his outfit seeming to buzz with electricity, "that ass was just-"

Before he could even finish his sentence a scaled hand covered his mouth, a pair of bright blue eyes looking at him in question, "the games haven't even started yet and already you made enemies." Said Kayla, "I bet your partner is just going to love that."

The dragon mutant had three gears around her neckline and around her hips her torso and thighs covered by a light grey material with white dashes and yellow lines, meanwhile green, orange and red pipes branched off from the torso as if to resemble a car engine.

"I'm going to love what?" Approaching the cluster was Alexis, supporting a black frilly skirt lined with electricity while the bodice was made of metal with electricity wrapping around it . She pushed her glasses up, looking at what was going on.

"Your partner touched my sister." Huffed Tyler, glaring at the hyena, not even bothering to hide how annoyed he was.

In response to that Cedric pushed Kayla's hand away, a perverted and cocky reply forming in his mind, "what? Is it my fault that your sister is smoking hot?"

Shoving Chris out of the way Tyler tackled the younger mutant determined to give him his mind me to tell him that he would not stand for his Sister being objectified in such a manner. Shelby close behind.

As Kayla, Alexis and Chris tried to separate the two and make peace between the districts Caleb and Serena watched them from afar with slight interest.

The two wore a suit that stuck to their body like a second skin, the colours it was made of a royal blue and an icy light blue, something that did the gems and flecks of gold that decorated the costume justice. Serena attempted to bring up her collar, hating how low it was and how it exposed some of her cleavage, sadly thanks to the crystals that aliened the neckline the task was proven to be impossible.

"At least we know that district four will be useful." Commented Caleb as he watch the fight, "as long as we can control the girl then we might be able to get rid of everyone quickly."

"Can you just... I don't know, stop planning how to win for about two seconds?" Wondered Serena as she decided to play around with the light golden material that flowed out from her waist and down to her ankles.

"We have to be prepared. We have to know our strengths and weaknesses so we can use it to our advantage."

"I understand that but... Maybe you could just relax for a little bit? Enjoy the fact that we're actually here in the Capitol and that everyone came out just to see us."

Caleb scoff, moving his attention away from the three still fighting districts over to district two who were currently chatting to district three and a tribute from district eight.

Both Sarina and Shadow wore bronze armor that was lined with steel that seemed to represent cement, Kat matched her district partner except the thread and yarn she had was a much brighter colour that popped against her coal black fur. She chatted to Shadow as Sarina conversed with both Katrina and Donnie who wore black clothing with green and red coding streaming down the skirt and pants the two wore.

"Urgh I wish I was in district two, then I wouldn't have to look like this." Kat grumbled gesturing to her costume. Shadow laughed, finding amusement in the girl's complaints.

"Well you could be from district seven and look like a Christmas tree." Pointed out the snake mutant, obviously referring to Raph.

"I guess so..." Replied Kat with some reluctance as she looked over to the district seven tributes.

Conversations had erupted all around, everyone looking as if they have someone to talk too. Well that is everyone but Cyn who had stuck close to her chariot  wearing a dress that had a camel brown top with darker brown designs on it and the skirt made out of crimson feather. She fiddled with one of the dark grey stones that aligned her neck, her eyes flickering over to her district partner who was talking to district nine and eleven.

Both boys of the grain district wore golden suits that had a rather extravagant collar- it being made of wheat whereas district eleven was stuck with a blueberry top and strawberry bottom, several leaves decorating their heads.

It wasn't long until the parade had to start, all tributes were drawn back to their chariots in order for the whole thing to commence. They stood there, the midnight black horses dragging out the beautifully made chariots as flashing lights blinded their passengers. Some of the tributes gripped on the edges for fear of following off, some of them waved and smiled as they past by the crowd and some of them keept a completely stoic expression on their faces to evoke curiosity in the audience.

Screams and shouts of excitement reached all of their ears, doing nothing to soothe the anxiety that was being concocted in their minds and stomachs. Donnie chewed his lip, finding it hard to deal with all of this attention, fortunately a part of it melted away as Katrina laid her head over his- in order to reassure him. He flashed her a kind smile that she happily returned. Casey and Chase grinned and waved at the crowd, Casy throwing peace signs and fist bumps that some members of the audience returned.

Coral and Mikey waved enthusiastically, nearly falling out of their chariot for the excitement of the Capitol was just so contagious they had found. Their smiles nearly split their faces in half, their arms becoming a blur thanks to all the energy.

In a moment too soon all twelve chariots had reached it's destination- the mansion of dear President Saki, and there he was. His hands spread out on the banister of the balcony as he looked down at all of them, coldness lingering in his eyes.

"Welcome." He said, a low voice rumbling out- causing some people to straighten up immediately, "it is finally time for the games to start. Welcome to the Capitol and welcome to this year's Hunger Games!"
