New Formations and Ideas

When the cannon sounded Raph stopped in his tracks. Fear slowly plaguing his heart as he turned around, thoughts on if it was Casey that made the cannon go off. He slowly placed one foot in front of the other before sprinting ahead, the scenery blurring past him becoming more irrelevant by the second.

He wasn't the only one that was finding the scenery to be rather irrelevant, Alex was placed in the same position. Leaping from tree to tree, the rough wood scrapping on her hands as she did the action hurriedly. She threw a glance behind her, the vampire bat flapping it's wings as it kept up with her. Alex was most definitely not prepared to be killed right now, especially by a bat mutant much of the likes of Sythia Blanchard.  She let out a few curses under her breath, mentally kicking herself for not being better hidden in the trees when Casey was executed.

She leaped off another tree, her twin tails twirling behind her as she landed yet again, she prepared herself for another jump that she instantly took. However she realized a little too late that the tree was further then she thought it was sending her straight to the ground. She groaned from the rough landing, slowly picking herself up so she could continue her run- that action wasn't to happen though just as Sythia came flying in now in her human form. Alex was knocked back onto the ground, a pair of teeth now sinking into flesh.

Moments later another cannon sounded off, making Raph pick up the pace. He had to be sure that Casey was okay, that he wasn't killed.

Leaves crunched and twigs snapped as the red masked terrapin neared the location, but he was stopped when he notice a large hovercraft airlifting a limp body. He narrowed his eyes, trying to identify who it was.

A mass of black hair and the lanky form was all it took for Raph to confirm that it was his friend that got killed.

The day was nearly over when Sarina reached the edge of the rocky terrain and she could feel herself slowly fading out as her power continued to tinkle down, she only has about fifteen percent left before she would be forced to power down- and this fact only made her even more determined to find shelter and perhaps Katrina and Donnie. Hopefully they'll accept her as an ally for she believed that she has a much better chance of surviving in a group, especially in a group of people that she knew wouldn't kill her.

She walked for a bit more before she decided to sit down and take a break. She could see the sunlight slowly dying out through the cluster of leaves that spread over her. An explosion of red and orange painted the majority of the sky, the colours slowly shimmering into pink and purple before it faltered into a navy blue.

Her blue eyes flashed as she took in the scenery. How could something so beautiful, so delicate be placed in a world that only knows of bloodshed and violence? To Sarina that didn't make any sense at all. Something so beautiful should be placed in a world where it would be appreciated.

Then again, maybe it did really make sense that such a beautiful sunset was put into the games. People so low on hope, so scared that they would see another day, that they would see a new day. Perhaps that was the true reason for why the sunset and sunrise exists in the rather barbaric game, to remind all the remaining tributes that they're still alive, that they've lasted one more day.

The cyborg shook her head, clearing her mind from those thoughts. She stood herself up once more and continued to walk, in hopes of finding a good shelter before darkness takes over.

By the time Tyler and Shelby reached the bottom they were out of breath and in the dark, both not happy about the amount of time it took them to reach where they were now and both not happy that they weren't able to find a good place to sleep through the night.

"So Shelby." Panted out Tyler, wiping the sweat off of his face, "what do we do now?"

"I don't know." She said, rather breathless as well. "Maybe find a place that's close by and tomorrow we should try hunting."

"Oh yeah... We forgot to take the food."

"Yeah." Grumbled Shelby, not happy with that fact as well, "c'mon. Let's just go. i want to forget today."

As the two got themselves ready for the evening two people was getting ready to get food.

In a different part of the forest was a white tailed deer. Her head sticking itself in the riverbed as it lapped up some water, slightly oblivious to two people watching her carefully.

Perched on a tree was Leo, with a bow and arrow that he had crafted in his hands. He was unable to obtain the katana blades that were waiting for him at the cornucopia thanks to all the fighting that had occurred, hence the reason why he got a bow and a simple arrow with him. He just thank his lucky stars for Splinter's training and teachings, because without it he wouldn't have created a weapon from simple materials and he wouldn't be able to hunt for meat in the near dark.

Destiny too was thanking her lucky stars for the ability to change into her wolf form at will. But this time she has to be careful, the warning that David gave when she was injected with serum whispered at her- telling her that she needs to be careful and that she needs to time herself. That's why she has to be quick with her kill tonight.

Leo notched his arrow, using his other senses to help determine where the animal was. The rush of the stream, the smell of dew on the grass, the cold breeze making everything rustle and sway in it's direction- as if it was the pied piper and the objects were it's rats.

While Leo was taking in his surroundings Destiny was preparing herself for the kill. Her luminous green eyes fixated on the beast as she counted down to herself.

Three... Two... One.

She leaped out of her hiding spot instantly alerting the deer and Leo her presence. The deer began to run, it's instincts telling it too. But Destiny was going to be sure that the deer wouldn't escape her, she bounded up to her prey- beginning to run up right behind it which even threatened the deer even more- trying to add a burst of speed. Though the opposite happened, the deer was slowing down as claw marks marked it's body- blood flowing out of the wound. More marks were made, more injuries created and then the deer fell over dead. A satisfied Destiny looking down at it, a proud shine in her emerald eyes.

Slightly curious for what happened to his target and who stole his kill Leo moved as stealthily as he could through the trees. His eyes- glowing white as he concentrated hard on not being found out. But it looked like that wasn't to work out for him as Destiny's ear perked, instantly making her turn around to look in the direction for where the blue masked terrapin was located. Now that her eyes were fixed on him, Leo could tell with ease that it was Destiny- he wasn't going to forget those eyes anytime soon. Thinking that it would be good to ally instead of fight, Leo jumped off the tree- coming into view and his hands up to say he wasn't there to attack her. At that sight Destiny shifted.

"What are you doing here?" She asked feeling slightly suspicious.

"I was just hunting." He replied, "well uh trying to... You stole my kill."

"Sorry. I was hungry."

"It's fine." He shrugged, "I was just wondering-" he stepped towards her and she instantly stepped back, her eyes narrowing.

"Don't worry. I'm not going to hurt you." He said softly, "I was just wondering if you want to be allies."

"How do I know that you won't kill me?"

"Because I would have done it already." He offered her his hand, "so? Allies?"

Destiny thought about it, trying to run her mind through the pros and cons. But it wouldn't hurt to have an ally right?

So having that thought streaming through her mind, she accepted Leo's hand. Shaking it.
