Gathering and Planning
Katrina and Donnie had moved over to a new building, this time a double story that had a bit more food and proper beds. As the day ended yet again the two talked, making comments about those that had past and who they thought the victim's killer was. They talked about where they would move next and they talked about what they would be doing if they weren't reaped.
"I wonder if these games will ever be stopped." Said Katrina, finishing off a can- her tone bitter.
"Unlikely." Said Donnie, looking at one of the windows, seeing all the buildings and just managing to spot the moon, "the Capitol loves it too much to stop it... And everyone is too scared about standing up to it."
"Yeah..." Sighed the human, "but... maybe that will change later on. No one deserves to go through any of this... Maybe... One day, all of this will stop and we can live together happily."
"Maybe." Said Donnie softly, putting away the food they had ate. "You sleep, I'll keep watch."
His friend nodded and then proceeded to go over to where the beds were stationed in order to get some shut eye. Meanwhile Donnie wondered over to the front archway, sitting in front of it, his shell up against one of the posts. He gaze out into the area, brown eyes reflecting the artificial lights from the stars and the moon that shone brightly overhead. His mind was cluttered with all sorts of thoughts, not all that surprising given how intelligent he was. ideas of new inventions took up some of his attention, trying to figure out what sort of parts would be needed and how the creation would help anyone.
He was so absorbed in the plans and new ideas that his brilliant mind conjured up that he nearly missed the silhouette of a person walking along. Her posture slump, her moves more sluggish and her blue eyes glowing dim in the dark. The girl stumbled over her own feet, sending herself tumbling down- too weak to pick herself up.
Hearing the noises Donnie tensed, his eyes scanning the area before they landed on a crumpled up silhouette. He slowly picked himself up before he looked around the area once more, deciding that it would be okay if he just checked on the person.
With slow and cautious movements he neared the body, kneeling down so that he could see it really was Sarina. He grabbed onto her arms and lifted her up, slinging one of them over his shoulders as he started to walk back to their shelter.
"Are you okay?" He asked quietly, fearing that there were people watching them.
In return Sarina replied, her voice quiet as well, "I'm fine." She whispered, "I have seven percent left. I need to sleep."
"We've got some beds where we are." Said Donnie, nearing the archway, "you can sleep with us, I'll just tell Katrina that you're here."
The white haired cyborg nodded, understanding what he had said, "thank you." She mumbled.
"It's the least I can do."

"So you've been staying here?" Asked Tyler looking around the area in surprise. The whole building resemble a bunker of some sorts. What with, the amount of empty guns that lines the walls and the amount of beds there were.
"Yup!" Chirped Mikey, a grin, "there's a lot of food here too which is awesome!" He said again, gesturing to the stack of cans that were aligned neatly on a shelf.
"And... Nothing bad has happened to you yet?" Wondered Shelby, slightly puzzled by how the game makers just let him live out here by himself without any consequences forming.
"Yup again Blizzard gal!"
"Uh... Blizzard?" Questioned Shelby, slightly confused with the name.
"Yeah!" Grinned the terrapin, "you shoot ice out of your hands and make it snow, I've seen you training. it was awesome!"
Shelby blushed, slightly flattered that the boy watched her when she performed those few trick. She looked down at her hands, thinking of that power she possesses and how dangerous it can be- especially as she still has yet to control the abilities. Good thing that she had the serum injected into her, for she may have done something regrettable by now. She closed her hands into a fist and dropped them to her sides, looking up to see the two boys goofing around.
She shook her head, amused at their antics with the thought in her mind that maybe now... Even if it's just for a little while they'll be some peace.

Chris, Kayla and Raph were all sat together in the dark, faint whispers of their conversation breaking the silence that had settled over them. They discussed about what had happened and talked about what they should do for the next morning. Ideas of getting more food were thrown into the mix with the thought of moving to a different location was added in.
Apparently there was jungle at the very back of the city but before that there's just a plane of dirt and grass with no trees or anything to help them get to that destination without being noticed.
After much thought on the idea the three of them agreed that they'll move over to there, there's better shade, better chance on getting water not to mention that there was most likely going to be more food in that particular terrain.
So with the end of that discussion two of the three went to bed as one kept watch, thinking of how well things will go tomorrow.
