The Prince of Veri waved at his parents as the carriage began to leave for Triox. His mother wasn't sure of the departure but in the end, was convinced by the young men to let them go. "I hope (Y/n) doesn't worry too much...", frowned Tubbo. He had begun to call the Goddess by her name since she requested it be done so. "Big Sister will be fine and so will we!", grinned Tommy. He was currently inside the carriage for the beginning of the trip, the soldiers under his command insisted that he take the beginning of the trip easy, which much to their persistence, ended up inside with the couple. "I wonder what George has in mind.", frowned Ranboo. The trio sat there wondering what could be the situation in Triox. From what they had heard, Triox had stopped people from leaving the kingdom and also stopped receiving new travelers. Ranboo smiled as he enjoyed the trip, Tommy and Tubbo made his anxiety vanish the closer they got to Triox.

Before they knew it, they had arrived at the gate and the knights were trying to inspect their carriage. "You will not enter the royal carriage of Veri.", frowned Tommy as placed his horse between the knight and the carriage door. He had been guarding the couple when they were a day away from arriving at Triox. The knights of Triox looked displeased but said nothing as he saw the badges and cords that showed that Tommy was the Captain of the army. The highest rank after the General, the ranks were different for every kingdom but all the knights knew that Tommy was powerful and not someone they should mess with. "Fine...", growled the soldier as he signaled for the gate to open. Tommy scowled at the looks his men were getting, he hurried his people in with the carriage before he pointed his sword at the soldier. "Don't forget that my Sister can come cut your head off for showing her men those looks. After all, the Queen is the General of the army and she doesn't tolerate disrespect.", said Tommy, pulling his sword away as the soldier paled. The soldiers all bowed before Tommy sighed and followed after the carriage, he told the coachman to stop and knocked on the window. "What happened, Toms?", frowned Tubbo, he grew worried when they had demanded to enter the carriage. Tommy smiled and reassured them that everything was under control, he knew that Tubbo would be less merciful if he had seen the looks of those soldiers. "I'll go scout out the area... Stay here and stretch a bit...", he smiled before he galloped away. 

"The kingdom looks... different...", frowned Tubbo as he touched the flowers from a flower shop. Ranboo agreed as he stood next to his fiance, the soldiers of Veri all reassured them that it was best to stay by the carriage. The couple nodded before thanking them, they didn't feel welcomed as some people passed by the carriage. The gallop of a horse made the couple look up to see Tommy, he had a frown on his face as he approached them. He urged his friends to get back into the carriage with the help of the soldiers. "I think we should deal with all this and head back to Veri as soon as possible.", said Tommy, closing the door after the couple entered. They all mutually agreed as they arrived at the castle, Callahan was there much to their surprise. The knight rarely left Alyssa's side and that was something they had all known since they were children. "Sir Callahan... It's good to see you again.", smiled Ranboo. The knight nodded before escorting them to a drawing-room. They all sat there while they saw the soldiers and the carriage being taken toward the stables. The wait for the King took longer than they expected but soon the door opened and they were greeted by George. "Greetings... Crown Prince of Veri.", smiled George before greeting the others. Tommy stood in front of the couple as the King approached them, they all looked rather surprised before Tommy spoke.

"Let's get down to business, shall we George.", smiled the God, opening his wings to his hide friends protectively. The King frowned before he nodded and instructed them to sit down. He didn't speak of anything related to Dream at all in the beginning until Tubbo reminded him. "Right... Well, Dream is here... He is the ruling King of Triox now... If you would like to start an investigation against him, I believe you'll have to speak with him.", smiled George. Tommy frowned as he noticed the King's hands shaking, they all nodded at the news before they were invited to dinner. They all quietly followed George to the dining table before the doors opened and Dream walked in. He had a crown and his mask was nowhere to be seen, he looked completely different but no one remarked on his appearance. "Everyone, I'm pleased to see that you made it safely to Triox...", smiled Dream. He walked over to George, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek before sitting next to him.

Tommy greeted Dream as he had always done after Ranboo and Tubbo greeted him and the food was served. "I am sorry for Wilburs death. I'm sure he's resting peacefully now", said Dream as he took a glass full of wine. The boys all tried their best to keep the resurrection secret since it wasn't official yet Dream's words angered Ranboo and Tubbo. Even though everyone suspected Dream, they couldn't point fingers until they had evidence. "When did you two get married?", smiled Tubbo as he tried to break a sudden tension that filled everyone's bodies. George took hold of Dream's hand before looking at them. "We married after the tournament... We didn't make it big or official since the incident that happened there...", said George. Dream nodded before taking a sip from his glass, he was examining the reactions of each God yet Tommy had already noticed that. "Well, that's good to hear... Congratulations.", smiled Tommy, taking everyone by surprise. The Captain of Veri was not surprised by any of this so he took the opportunity to show no hostility for now. "Let's eat then...", smiled Dream, removing his hand from George's. The teens looked down at the food, it looked perfectly fine but they all knew something was wrong. The clattering of plates falling made everyone turn to look at the head maid. She looked upset, she began to clean up the plates before Tommy frowned and went to help her. "You okay, Miss?", whispered Tommy. He knew the head maid since he was a child and knew she would never do anything to embarrass Triox or its King. The woman didn't say anything but Tommy knew something was wrong. 

"Looks like dinner is ruined just like my mood.", sighed Dream, standing up and leaving the room. George apologized before telling everyone that their rooms were ready, the boys thanked the King and followed another maid to their rooms. Tommy didn't remain in his room that night, instead, he stood guard by the couple's door with another of his soldiers. "Sir... Something is wrong here...", whispered the woman. Tommy smiled before reassuring her that everything would be over soon and they could head home. The sound of footsteps startled them and they turned to see Callahan heading their way. "Sir Callahan...", frowned Tommy as he approached the man. The knight stood a distance from the God before he bowed his head and looked him in the eyes. His lips opened and the words: "You must leave tomorrow morning...", formed. Tommy's eyes widened before he gave the man a small nod, with that action, Callahan turned around and left. "Sir?", whispered the soldier. Tommy turned to face her before informing her to gather the knights and get ready to depart in the morning. "Yes, Sir.", she said before saluting and running off to inform her comrades. 

The next morning, George stood dumbfounded at the door of the dining hall. "It's dangerous to leave now.", frowned George. Before any of the boys could ask why Dream appeared and hugged the King. "You're all leaving? That's a shame.", he smiled. Ranboo apologized but explained that something came up back home and that they needed to leave now. Dream hummed before nodding, he was allowing them to leave. George waved at them but they could all see that there was something he wanted to warn them about. Without another second to spare, the couple left the boys all alone at the entrance of the castle. To their relief, their men and the carriage were ready to depart. "Oh, Sir Callahan.", smiled Tubbo as he greeted the man. The knight smiled before he bowed, the boys all smiled as they headed towards the carriage. Ranboo looked at the knight as Tommy helped Tubbo get in. "Sir... Please leave with us...", frowned the Prince. He had a bad feeling leaving the man there but to his dismay, Callahan shook his head and placed his fist over his heart. 

Ranboo nodded as he understood that Callahan couldn't leave without Alyssa. Tommy had reported that she wasn't there to greet him when he had scouted the area. So all the Prince could do was wave at the Knight as they began their trip back to Veri. "I can't believe Dream is King of Triox now... It will be more difficult to start an investigation. ", frowned Tommy. Tubbo agreed before pointing out that George had acted very suspiciously during their short visit. "We have to inform everyone back home... Something is right.", sighed Ranboo. The boys all became silent as a heavy sense of worry washed over them as they sat quietly. Tommy suddenly cut that when he began to joke around, he could see the feeling go away as his friends worried expressions formed into smiles. He then stretched before telling the couple that he would ride with the knights. "I am Captain after all! I should uphold my training and protect the future rulers of Veri.", smirked Tommy. The God of Fortune yelped as Tubbo threw him various attacks, Ranboo couldn't help but laugh at his friends. The bad feeling he had felt was now gone the farther they got from Triox.

The young couple held hands as the trip continued, taking various breaks so the knights could properly rest. Yet, even the knights seemed to want to hurry home. They had all felt a certain hostility towards them when the Gods had entered the castle but now they felt safe near them. Tommy was the only one that knew how much the soldiers loved them and even if they were Gods, his men loved the Royal family as they were part of their own families they had back home. 

Ranboo woke up with a jolt as he heard a knock on his window, when he moved the curtain, he saw Tommy smiling at him. "We're about a day's trip from Veri, we can rest at an inn or continue to get there faster.", whispered Tommy as the Prince opened the window. He noticed that both his friends looked exhausted, to his surprise, Ranboo urged him to continue so they could tell (Y/n) and Techno about the new King of Triox. Tommy nodded and gave them a playful bow. "As you command, your Majesties.", he teased. Before Tubbo could smack him, Tommy hurried ahead. "I'll get him when we get home. We're about to enter the mountains... I hope everyone's careful...", yawned Tubbo, laying his head back onto the prince's shoulder. Ranboo smiled before telling him to go to sleep, Tubbo nodded before snuggling the Prince. Ranboo couldn't help but smile as he closed the window and lowered the curtain. The young Prince wanted to get home and bring Wilbur back as soon as possible. After these mountains and the forest, they would be back in their territory and with their family. With those thoughts, his eyelids slowly closed.

The carriage shook, making the Prince wake up to shouts and screams of people, he could hear Tommy ordering the knights to stay in position. "Tubbo... wake up... I think somethings wrong...", frowned Ranboo. The door to the carriage opened and Tommy poked his head inside. He was covered in blood and had a large wound on his side. "What happened?!", exclaimed Tubbo as he finished waking up. Tommy smiled and reassured them that everything was under control before giving them his armor. "Put this on... You two should be wearing armor just in case.", smiled Tommy. Before he could leave again, Tubbo pulled him inside the carriage. Ranboo saw what his fiancé had seen, a large ravager was heading straight for them. "Hold on!!! It's going to push us off the cliff!!!", exclaimed Tommy. He quickly covered his friends with his body and wings before the carriage violently plummeted into the darkness below.

"If they didn't die with that... I'll have to personally go down there and finish them off..."
