Next week was a chaotic one for everyone. Staff of both companies moved to a new office premises as neither offices had enough space to accommodate both. Jungkook and Taehyung met few times at the new office as Namjoon wanted them to handle moving for the joint marketing team.

Finally the day came for them to start work in the new office. Jungkook and Taehyung drove separately arrived with 5 minutes apart. As informed earlier, Namjoon had called for a meeting first thing in the morning.

Everyone was already gathered and ready when Namjoon, along with Jin, arrived sharp at 9.00am.

"Good morning everyone." Namjoon said in a cheerful voice and everyone chimed in a reply.

"So.. first thing.. welcome to your new office. Your team leaders, Taehyung and Jungkook took care of everything on your behalf so I hope everything is in order. You will continue to work as two teams with the products that you are currently handling and all the new products will be decided after discussing with team leaders."

"Taehyung, of course I know about your work style and you should continue the same. Jungkook, please keep me in loop for the first week so that I can get an idea about you and your team. You will have a free reign after that." Namjoon explained in a gentle voice and both Taehyung and Jungkook nod their heads in agreement.

"Now that's out of the way-" Namjoon quickly switched to a much happier tone "-why don't we all get to know each other a bit."

Rest of the meeting was spent with each member's introductions and then Taehyung and Jungkook explained a bit about their portfolios.

They went to their respective seats after the meeting was over and Jungkook stayed back a bit to have a chat with Jin.

Taehyung looked at the seating arrangements of everyone and felt a little happiness in his heart. His and Jungkook's seat were next to each other and so were Jimin's and Yoongi's. Rest were clustered separately.

Yoongi sat on his chair and started his work without even glancing at Taehyung or Jimin. Taehyung could see Jimin looking at Yoongi with a bemused face but he was not suprised as he had already heard about Yoongi's behaviour.

Jimin shrugged his shoulders after few seconds and walked closer to Taehyung.

"Let's go for a tea." Jimin said with a smile and Taehyung got up from his seat.

They have been friends for long enough for Taehyung to know that what Jimin is after, is not only tea. They walked to the tea room and Jimin made a coffee for himself while Taehyung got a tea.

"So.." Jimin started when he had Taehyung's attention. "What do you think about them?"

"Hmm.. not much, yet. Kai is a proper man whore but I think they all are good with their jobs."

"I guessed so too. But what's wrong with that grandpa?"

Taehyung knew Jimin was talking about Yoongi without him saying his name. He chuckled a bit before answering.

"He may sleep like a grandpa but I have a feeling that he would be scary if he woke up."

"He looks pretty protective of Jungkook."

"Yeah. Guess so."

"Bet you're real embarrassed about that little flirting moment, now that you are working with him." Jimin said with a laugh and Taehyung groaned in annoyance.

"By the way, why did you do that? I've never seen you do something like that."

"Jimin, can we please drop it now?! It was a a stupid thing to do."

"Alright!! Geez.. I was just joking with you."

"Yeah, yeah. I know. Let's go back to work."

Taehyung and Jimin walked back to his seat and Jungkook was back in his seat too. He looked up from the screen that Yugyeom was showing him to give a quick glance to Taehyung.

Jungkook felt himself getting flustered a little with the thought of having his husband beside him for the whole day, everyday. Sure, they're pretending to be strangers so he won't get to behave as he would like but still, Jungkook was really looking forward to working with his husband.

Taehyung also felt the same way and couldn't help glancing at his beautiful husband, who was looking damn hot as he concentrated in work. He thought he was being discreet about it but he was proven wrong when he got caught staring by Yoongi.

Yoongi raised his eyebrows before giving a death glare to Taehyung and the latter immediately looked down at his laptop. He could see from the corner of his eyes that Jimin was trying so hard to bit back a laugh.

Taehyung shock his head and decided to concentrate on his work but he was disturbed after few seconds by the sound of his phone. He took it out to see a message sent by Jungkook.

'If you stop staring at me in office, I'll give you something to stare at when we go home today."

Taehyung felt a smile breaking in to his face as he quickly typed a reply.

"How can I stop staring when you are looking this hot, baby?"

"If you don't stop that, you're definitely gonna get it from Yoongi hyung. Should I tell him that you're my husband? I don't like the way he glares at you."

"I actually appreciate him looking out for my baby like that. Specially since you have assholes like Kai in your team."

"I'm sorry, Tae."

"You know that's not what I meant, Koo. Now get back to work. It'll look suspicious if both of us are on the phone at the same time."

"K. I love you.."

"Love you too, baby. Looking forward to your treat tonight. ;-)"

Thing turned out to be much better than Jungkook anticipated, mainly cause Namjoon was a great leader. They did their work without any issues and Namjoon was really impressed with Jungkook just as he was with Taehyung.

Since both teams were working separately, there wasn't much issues. Some people, like Liza and Jisoo or Yugyeom and Bambam become good friends while others just kept to themselves. But all were polite to eachother. Including Kai, who as Taehyung realised, definitely knows how to keep business and pleasure separately.

But things took a different turn after about one month and it was totally Namjoon fault, despite having the bestest of intentions. He called for a meeting for both Taehyung and Jungkook one morning.

"So I had this idea the other day and I think you guys would love it too. I know that we managed to book two deals for brand new products which will be making it's first entry to the market in two weeks."

"What I propose is to have a friendly competition. The progress will be checked at entry point as well as after two weeks and a month. The members in the winning team will get a handsome bonus in next month. So what do you think?"

Namjoon looked at the two team leaders with a huge smile on his face, obviously happy with his brilliant idea..

While normally both of them would be the first ones to get excited over a news like this, neither wanted to compete against eachother. Taehyung glanced at Jungkook from the corner of his eyes and noticed that he is shaken up with this news as well.

But they had to respond professionally as Namjoon was waiting for their reply. Taehyung was the first one to give out a smile as he looked at Namjoon.

"I think it's an excellent idea, Namjoon. I'm sure everyone will be up for a friendly competition." Taehyung said with a forced smile.

"Yeah, I agree. This will be a good motivation and might be just the thing we need to get better results." Jungkook offered his opinion as well.

"Great!! I'll leave it for you guys to get things going. You should go tell your teams about this." Namjoon said with a happy grin and Taehyung and Jungkook went of of his room after agreeing to that.

Taehyung and Jungkook walked back to their seats and informed their teams. Everyone was hyped up about the competition and the opportunity to earn some good money.

That night, after Taehyung and Jungkook got ready for bed, they discussed about the competition. Taehyung had his hands softly wrapped around Jungkook and the latter was drawing patterns on Taehyung's chest with his fingers.

"Tae..?"

"Yeah...?"

"What do you think about this competition?" Jungkook asked in an uneasy voice and Taehyung sighed before tightening his hold on Jungkook.

"I don't think what either of us thinks matter, baby."

There was a silent for few minutes before Jungkook spoke up again.

"I can't let my team down, Tae." Jungkook's voice sounded really upset.

"I know Kookie, neither do I. They trust us to lead them properly and I don't want our personal lives to mess with that."

Taehyung pulled his hands out and leaned back a bit to look at Jungkook properly.

"Look, this doesn't make any difference to the two of us right? No matter who wins, both you and I will benefit. But it's not the same with our teams and neither of us can do that to them. So why don't we give it our best shot?"

"What do you mean Tae?"

"Let's disregard our relationship when it comes to our jobs and treat this opportunity as it is? What will you do if it was some other team? Hmm..? You will fight as hard as you can to win right. So would I. So why don't we do exactly that."

A small smile came to Jungkook's face as he understood what his husband was saying. Yes, he can definitely do that. He's naturally competitive and Taehyung knows that very well too.

"Yeah..?? Think you could take me on?" Jungkook asked in a teasing manner and Taehyung chuckled at that.

"Oh.. bring it on, baby." Taehyung said in an equally teasing tone as he pulled Jungkook back in to his embrace.

"May the best man win, Mr Kim."

"May the best man win, Mr Jeon."

Next day morning, both Taehyung and Jungkook called for team meeting to discuss and to make necessary plans. They were having their discussion in opposite meeting rooms and coincidently, it finished at the same time. Both teams came out and there were lot of snickers and smirks that passed between some of them. They were ready for the fight. 

Taehyung and Jungkook were the last to come out and they gave a slight nod in acknowledgment of each other.

"Jeon."

"Kim."
