The rest of the party was uneventful for most parts. Jungkook and Taehyung naturally gravitated to each other's vicinity without making it obvious. Both their teams were introduced to eachother at some point of the night but some of the encounters didn't go smoothly as either of them would like.

Taehyung could clearly see Jackson and Mark giving a stink eye to Kai from Jungkook's team which Kai, of course, returned in full force. Jenny looked down at others with a flip of her hair and Jungkook groaned internally.

The girl have clear manipulation skills which comes very handy in her work but sometimes Jungkook can't stand her superiority complex. She is very beautiful but guess it's only on the outside. But as long as she does her work professionally, Jungkook didn't had a reason to address that.

Liza and Jisoo sort of hit it off well and so did the other guys - Chenyeol, Sehun, Yugyeom and Bambam. Jimin was like a overly excited child, greeting and offering drinks to everyone and Yoongi... well, Yoongi was being Yoongi and completely ignored everyone after muttering a 'hi'.

The only time Yoongi showed any sign of social interaction was when Taehyung came and sat on the chair next to Jungkook. It seemed like Yoongi had also heard about Taehyung's attempt to buy Jungkook's drink so he was evidently keeping a close eye on the guy.

Yoongi is few years elder than Jungkook and had a soft spot for him, despite being Jungkook's subordinate. He was with the company when Jungkook joined in and they had been friends ever since.

Yoongi thinks Jungkook as his younger brother so he is determined to keep an eye out for the guy. Taehyung already knew about it but still felt a little threatened by that.

Good thing he was already married to Jungkook, otherwise he would have felt really insecure about this. It definitely would have been a nightmare if he had to court Jungkook in the office, with both Yoongi and Jin behaving like overprotective brothers.

Another interesting thing that happened was Kai's obvious attempt to flirt with Taehyung. He kept following him, despite Taehyung continuously turning him down.

At first, he didn't want to be rude on the first day as all of them would be working together from now on but couldn't help it when Kai became more and more aggressive. Even when Taehyung told him that he's married, Kai only smiled seductively. He seemed to be little drunk too.

"He doesn't have to know." Kai said while shrugging his shoulders and Taehyung took a step back in shock. "What happens in the office, stays in the office, love."

Taehyung couldn't hold back urge to put the man in his place as this was totally unprofessional and down right vulgar.

"Well, Jeon sure forget to mention that he had a man whore in his team." Taehyung said as he gave the guy a cold stare but Kai only laughed out loud.

"Jungkook doesn't care what I do in my personal time as long as I do a  professional job in office.
What he doesn't know, can't hurt him."

While it's the same mindset Taehyung have with regards to his own staff but Kai seemed like an asshole that could be an exception for that rule.

"And this is what you call being professional? We literally work together." Taehyung said with gritted teeth. It's getting really difficult to control his anger.

"We don't start working together till tomorrow." Kai said with an indifferent tone. "I could show you a good time tonight. Think of it as a welcome gift."

"Listen you fucking asshole-"

"What's going on here?!"

Jungkook's voice snapped Taehyung out from the angry spiral that he was so close to fall and he released Kai's shirt collar, which he hadn't realized that he had grabbed in the first place.

Taehyung gave a glare to his husband and Jungkook raised his eyebrows at that. He looked back and forth between Taehyung and Kai, one had a pissed off look and the other had slight smirk.

"Control your fucking teammates, Jeon."

Taehyung stormed off with that last sentence and Jungkook's eyes widen with surprise. He hadn't heard his husband speak with such an angry voice ever. He immediately turned to Kai.

"What the fuck did you do?!" Jungkook yelled at Kai but the latter only rolled his eyes.

"Relax, Jungkook. I did nothing. I asked him if he wants to have a good time tonight and guess he didn't." Kai said in an indifferent tone and Jungkook bit back a curse as he understood the situation. "I'm gonna get another drink. Enjoy the party, Jungkook."

Jungkook gritted his teeth at the retreating figure but it was all he could do. They're all adults here and Jungkook doesn't have a control on what any of his team members do outside the professional capacity.

Now he would be perfectly justified in kicking Kai's ass if he could disclose  the fact that Taehyung is his husband. But since he can't do that, there was nothing he could do for Kai's behaviour.

Jungkook's phone vibrated suddenly and he took it out to see Taehyung's message about going home. He had asked Jungkook to come immediately too.

Jungkook sighed a bit and went to find Jin and rest of his team members to bid them good bye. It looks like he have some making up to do tonight.

Taehyung looked over his shoulder when his husband entered the bedroom. They came home with 15 minutes apart and Taehyung had already washed up and gotten ready for bed when Jungkook came.

They didn't speak as Jungkook went straight to the washroom and Taehyung slid under the bed covers. He was not mad at Jungkook at all and he knows that Jungkook knows it too. They have lived together long enough to know how each other's mind works and to be on the same page in everything.

Soon the room was illuminated with a soft light when  bathroom door opened but was immediately plunged in to semi darkness when Jungkook switched off the light. Taehyung could see the faint outline of Jungkook's body and had to wait for only few seconds to sense the bed dipping from Jungkook's side.

"So..." Jungkook's voice came from the darkness. "Heard Kai offered to show you a good time, tonight."

Taehyung gave out a snicker. "Yeah. I declined. I was hoping my husband will show me a good time instead."

Taehyung heard a ruffling in the bed and Jungkook was straddling his hips in the next second. He felt himself getting excited as Jungkook's warm breath tickled the side of his neck .

"I felt so angry that I couldn't kick him in the balls." Jungkook whispered as he pressed his lips in to Taehyung's neck for a trail of kisses.

"I know, baby." Taehyung whispered back. "Me too."

There wasn't a need to talk anymore as they fell in to their usual dance of love making. Jungkook made sure to make their time extra special as a penance for Taehyung being upset by his team member.

Jungkook knows that such act is not required and that Taehyung would never hold it against him. But he also knows that his husband would enjoy it very much, and so would he.

Taehyung and Jungkook laid in each other's arms after that hot and wild sex. Taehyung had cleaned them with a wet cloth as Jungkook was quiet tired. They both had a long day. Just as Taehyung was about to fall asleep, Jungkook's steered in his hold.

"Tae?"

"Hmm.."

"Why didn't you let me tell Namjoon that we are married?" Jungkook asked in a curious voice and Taehyung gave a sigh as a reply.

"My boss doesn't like office relationships. He normally gets people transferred to other departments if they even start an affair. I was.... worried."

"Oh.."

"I know it's a messed up situation but if we had said we were married, I was worried that one of us would be asked to leave."

Taehyung had said one of them but they both knew it would be Jungkook.
There's no way Namjoon would choose a stranger over his main man. There was a silence for few seconds as both pondered this fact.

"But don't you think things will get even messier when we lie and  they got to know later?"

"It definitely would. But I don't think they would get to know it unless we tell them ourselves. As long as we keep our personal life out of the office, it should be ok."

"Are you sure, Tae? I have a really bad feeling about this. It feels like we are cheating."

"I kind of do too, baby. But what else can we do?"

Jungkook didn't have an answer for that so he kept his mouth shut. He didn't want to lose his job and he was sure they could keep things strictly professional too. Just as they have always done.

After few seconds, Taehyung spoke up again.

"Don't worry too much baby. Whatever happens, we are in this together."

Jungkook smiled softly to himself. Yes, he shouldn't worry about it much. As long as he have his husband's support, everything would be ok.
