Jungkook looked at the sales chart again. It's showing a huge increase than the last month, exceeding his team's forecast by about another 70%. This was a tremendous achievement and Jungkook was sure that his boss will be very pleased with these numbers.

Jungkook got up from his seat and picked up his laptop. As he started to walk away from his cubicle, his team looked at him with radiant smiles, which Jungkook returned as well. His best friend, Yoongi, raised his hand for a high five as Jungkook walked passed him and he gently gave a tap.

"Go get us a fat bonus, our fearless leader-nim." Yoongi said with a sly smile and Jungkook rolled his eyes at that name.

Min Yoongi, or as Jungkook calls him, Yoongi hyung, is Jungkook's best friend and the brain of his team. The role of the leadership would have naturally fallen to Yoongi if only he wasn't so lazy. The man is a genius analyst, there's basically nothing in the market that could escape his attention. But man!! he's as lazy as humanly possible in other areas.

And Jungkook is a brilliant leader, with a knack of having a gut feeling about which way the tides might turn. He's a risk taker and almost all of his daring decisions was paid off handsomely. That's why his team is always on top.

Jungkook's marketing team consists of  Yoongi - his right hand man, Yugyeom - his main strategic planner, Kai - his tech guy and his field staff - Sehun, Jenny and Liza. All 3 of them are quite good looking which is an advantage in persuading potential clients.

Jungkook knocked on the door of his boss and the owner of this marketing firm, Kim SeokJin. Jungkook went in after getting a 'come in' as a reply.

"Good morning, boss." Jungkook greeted the elder with a huge smile.

His and Jin's relationship was little further than of a boss and subordinate. You could say that the elder regarded Jungkook as his little brother, although he tried to not show that too much since this was an official environment.

"Good morning, Kook." Jin answered with an equally radiant smile. "What brings you here this early?"

Jungkook wordlessly opened his laptop and showed Jin the latest data he had. Jin looked at it for few seconds before a huge grin made it's way in to his face.

"This is wonderful Kook. I knew you could pull it off." Jin said as he gave a thumbs up for the younger.

Jungkook gave a confident smile back. It felt really good to work up to his boss's expectations, repeatedly. They talked for few more minutes about the figures and the plan for next few weeks before Jungkook finally took his leave.

Just as he was about to open the door, Jin's voice stopped him.

"Kook, take your guys for dinner tonight. It's on me."

Jungkook gave a smile and a nod at that. His team would like that very much. He turned to leave once again but Jin was not yet done with him.

"And tell them that they can expect something extra in their bank accounts before the end of the day." Jin finished with a playful wink.

He absolutely loved the happy grin that got spread through the younger's face. Jungkook is really fond of his team as they are of him. Which is what makes them such a success in everything they try.

Jungkook got out of the room and walked towards his team. He couldn't wait to share the news with them.

Taehyung groaned internally for what must be atleast the tenth time that morning. The new batch of his latest marketed product was supposed to be delivered today morning but few of the clients called and informed him that they were not yet there. And the driver was not answering his phone.

Two of his field guys are already on their way to check what's the problem and Taehyung was just waiting for their call. His thoughts were interrupted by the voice of his right hand man and best friend, Jimin.

"Tae, I just checked the news as you asked. An accident involving an container carrier and a delivery truck was reported on the same route. Do you think it's our one?" Jimin's voice was filled with concern.

"It's a possibility. Mark and Jackson should be able to confirm it." Taehyung answered in an equally worried tone.

"What should we do? Are we to wait till they call back?"

Taehyung thought for few seconds before making a decision.

"There's no time for that. We have to assume it's our truck. Call for another delivery truck from that area and have it sent to the accident site. Send few people too. We won't have enough time to prepare a fresh delivery but we should be able to make it if we use the stuff that's halfway there." Taehyung said in a confident voice and Jimin gave a nod in agreement.

Jimin was already dialling a number when Taehyung called him again.

"Jimin, get a fresh batch prepared for delivery too, in case the goods are damaged from the accident. The delivery will be delayed for tomorrow but better late than never."

Mark's call came after about 15 minutes and it was indeed their delivery truck that had the accident. But luckily, the goods were not damaged at all and since the replacement truck was only about 10 minutes away, Mark and Jackson were able to get things on the way without further delay.

Upon Taehyung's instruction, both of them personally made sure that the goods were delivered well within the time agreed and also apologised for the delay. The clients were quite impressed with how everything was handled so smoothly and few of them even called Taehyung with praises.

The word even spread to Kim Namjoon, the CEO and the owner of the company and that's how Taehyung was called to his office by midday and Namjoon had nothing but good words for Taehyung.

Kim Namjoon maybe a quite strict and work by the book kind of a guy but he knows very well how to appreciate good work. He had already witnessed Taehyung's quick thinking and trouble shooting abilities many times to know that he's a real asset to the company.

Taehyung spent about 5 minutes, explaining the entire situation to him, end to end, and another 5 minutes listening to his boss's praises. 

He came out of the office with a proud smile and called his team to his seat. They were all very happy to hear about Namjoon's comments regarding their team.

Taehyung's marketing team have 6 members. Jimin - who handles all the communications and negotiations with the clients. The word in the office is that Jimin could probably sell ice to eskimos.

Then there's Chenyeol - his strategic planner, although Taehyung himself comes up with most of the plans. Jisoo - his tech assistant and then his field guys - Mark, Jackson and BamBam.

Taehyung looked around at his team, minus Mark and Jackson who still hasn't returned to office yet. He was very proud of his team since he knows that they give their 110% to work.

"So, that fire came down without any issues. Unexpected things like this will happen from time to time but the important thing is how you handle them. You need to be smart and quick. Always try to cover all the bases so that you can be prepared for anything." Taehyung looked around at his team and saw that all of them are nodding their heads in agreement.

"So as a reward for this, Namjoon said that you all could go home a bit early today. I've already told Jackson and Mark to go straight home after they are done with the work and you guys can leave early too. Enjoy some extra time with your family."

A light cheer and and laughter could he heard after this announcement and Taehyung gladly joined in. Jimin inched closer to him after the rest of the team went back to their own seats.

"So... got plans for some quality time with your husband today?" Jimin asked as wiggled his eyebrows in a teasing manner.

"Not really, he has sent a message saying he will be bit late today." Taehyung answered with a sigh.

"Oh..." Jimin didn't know what to say.  "Do you wanna go for a drink then?"

"Nuh... that's ok. I'm gonna catch up with my sleep. You should go home too, Chim, it's a well earned break. You did good today."

"Thanks Tae. I may have gotten things moving but it was all your ideas. Your mind works wonders."

Taehyung came to an empty house and after having a bit of an early dinner and some TV, he decided to go to bed. His husband was going to be late and Taehyung didn't want to pressure him to run home so he had already sent him a message saying that he's going to bed.

Let his husband enjoy his time without having to worry about Taehyung waiting up for him.

Jungkook came home well after midnight and after having a wash, went straight to bed. He quietly laid down on his side of the bed and relaxed. Normally he's the one who comes home first so it's a nice change to have his bed warmed up already by the man sleeping on the other side.

Jungkook gently tapped on the arm of the man sleeping there and instinctively, the other man turned around and pulled Jungkook in to a hug. Jungkook snuggled more in to the other's chest as it was their normal sleeping position.

"How was your day?" Jungkook whispered the question and a sleepy voice answered.

"Eventful. I'll tell about it tomorrow. You?"

"Wonderful. I'll tell tomorrow too."

"Good night baby."

"Good night Tae.."
