"You NEVER think about us!!! Your whole world revolves only in your stupid OFFICE!!!" My mommy screamed at Daddy, My Daddy's eyes widened and he shouted, "I SLAVE ALL DAY IN THE OFFICE AND THIS IS WHAT I GET?!?! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!" He grabbed my mommy by the arm and continued, "I never should have married a *toot(female dog)* like you!!!" He shouted and pushed her to the wall. I cried helplessly, wishing I could say something to stop them. I squeaked as I was sobbing and they turned to me immediately. I looked at them with sad, pleading eyes, begging them to stop. "May, baby, were you listening the whole time?" Mommy asked me, she was obviously guilty, letting me see a scene like this. I'm only thirteen... am I supposed to be experiencing this? Nope. Anyways, Mommy and Daddy may fight, but they come together when it comes to me. Daddy an Mommy came near me, seeing me break down like this, It was not a common sight. They always saw me to be happy. "I... I... I... I can't stand it!!!" I cried even more, breaking Mommy and Daddy's heart even more. Then, as if on cue, someone had triggered an alarm. Yes, our house was quite big and yes, we had alarms. Yes, I am indeed, of high class. I was scared, as I turned around I saw a man in black, pointing a gun at me. "Freeze, if you dont want your child's blood all over the floor." He said threatening us. I was scared stiff, this was absolutely way too much for me for one night.  "Now, hand over the kid. And she might not die." He said walking slowly to me. My Mom and Dad quickly stood in front of me and shielded me, "YOU ARE NEVER GETTING YOUR FILTHY MITTS ON MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER!!!" they said at the same time. I felt so loved at that single moment, but then... "BANG!!! BANG!!!" The bullets went through my beloved parents. Mom and Dad whispered with their last breaths... "Run... sweetie... run for your life, we love you so much... but... for now... your on your own... thank you for being a good daughter to us...." they were holding my cheeks, as they ended, their hands slipped off and I cried, and ran for my life. I ran as fast as my legs could take me. I ran, very very fast. I was running 'till it was hard to breathe... how long have I been running? "I think it's been 3 hours, I think I've lost him an hour ago" I said to myself  "I think I'll slow down now" I mutter to myself, slowing don my pace. "Oh gosh... I... I... I... can't... breathe... properly... stu... pid... asthma... uhh... ohh..." the last I said before everything turned black.

*time skip two days later*

I wake up confused, in a place I don't know. I suddenly remember everything after a minute. "Hmm, you're awake... well, good morning." A boy with green hair stood close to me. "Waaaahhh!!! Who are you, and what do you want?" I scream in sheer terror. "Well, that's a weird way of thanking someone who brought you in when you were lying on the street." The boy raised an eyebrow at me. "Oh, I'm sorry, I get easily freaked out... thanks for helping me out, I'm May Maple" I smiled, holding out my hand. "Drew Hayden" the boy replied, shaking my hand. He was actually kind of cut. Those dazzling emerald orbs, luscious green hair, and charming way of moving. He was a really cool looking guy. "You know, I can't actually blame you for staring at me, I am quite irresistible." He said in a very arrogant tone. It was sooo annoying. "I DO NOT in any way find you irresistible!!!" I  denied my feelings, wishing I wasn't blushing. "Whatever you say... hey, by the way, it's not everyday that I see a girl lying on the streets, why were you out there? It was actually midnight then, why were you out at midnight?"

Drew's POV

I was really curious as to know why a beautiful girl like her would be lying on the streets at midnight. Yes, I admit, she is beautiful. Her eyes are like sapphires that I could look into all day. Her smile is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and when I shook her hand, her skin was as soft as a rose petal. Who in the world wouldn't think she was beautiful. She was a cute girl too.  "Well... it's actually a long story..." the happiness was drained from her eyes, she looked as if someone had died. "Well, you look like you need someone to talk to..." I tried talking her into it, even if it was touchy, what kind of person would leave this girl in that horrible situation. "Oh, it was terrible!" May burst into tears, pulling me into an embrace, which made me blush hard. She cried, sparkling diamonds from her eyes  came running down her cheeks, she suddenly pulled away, realizing she was hugging me. "Shhh, it's okay..." I pulled her in, holding her tight, "just let it all out" I said patting her back. May told me the whole story, how her parents fought, how they were murdered, how she ran for her life. She kept crying, saying how she wished she could wake up from the nightmare she was living in. I patted her back offering to get her a treat at the mall, it was the least I could do.

Okay, don't get mad that I update only every month.... I'm dealing with issues in my grades. Plus, I have to stay in school until 7:00 pm for practice, then there's my never ending homework. But that's not the last of this story, this'll be continued by the weekend (hopefully) Anyways, I noticed that you guys don't like leaving comments, which is sad cause I need you opinion on my work.
